Fair is Foul and Foul is Fair: A Review of @macbeth_movie from @kleffnotes

Macbeth, starring Michael Fassbender in the title role, comes out on DVD and Blu-ray Tuesday, March 8th, and I was able to give it an early watch. I was excited to see this movie for two reasons: one, Macbeth is my favorite Shakespeare play and two, Michael Fassbender. Catching Up on Oscar Winning Movies: A Review of @RoomTheMovie from @kleffnotes

You would think that a woman who works at a video store would be caught up on the things that get nominated for Academy Awards, right? Well, that is definitely not the case. Actually it’s never the case. I don’t live in a big city, which often means our one movie theater gets passed over for productions that are considered more independent or artsy. We get the big blockbusters yes, but a number of movies that were nominated we either didn’t get at all or only got for a week during the last year. We didn’t get Room at all, but it showed up at the video store right after the Oscars and I jumped on the chance to watch it. So, here’s my belated review of the movie that Brie Larson won her Oscar for Best Actress for. Continue reading “Catching Up on Oscar Winning Movies: A Review of @RoomTheMovie from @kleffnotes”

I wanted to share some of my thoughts and theories about the show now that I’ve finished it. Continue reading “Finishing @JessicaJones from @kleffnotes”

@Gotham Recap Wrath of the Villains: Mr. Freeze from @luckynerdgirl

This post was written by @luckynerdgirl and uploaded by Katherine, @kleffnotes.

It’s been a long wait, but it’s finally over! Gotham is back in our lives for the Spring Premiere! The previous episode had some ups and downs. The downs mostly went to Theo Galavan whose plot to kill the “Son of Gotham”, aka Bruce Wayne, to redeem the Dumas family name fell apart completely. Penguin and Nygma teamed up with Jim Gordon to help undo what Galavan had done.  The very end of the episode gave us a hint into what was to come. We got a glimpse at a laboratory-like room complete with giant tanks of fluid with bodies inside, and a man with goggles and a freeze gun! Fast-forward to tonight’s premier.

Recap of @LuciferonFOX “Favorite Son” from @kleffnotes

We open with a beautiful musical number with Lucifer, Tom Ellis, serenading the club, while in a different part of the city a man finds himself on the wrong side of a robbery. Oh and not just any robbery, but one that can be linked directly back to our beloved title character. That enough to draw you in? Well, read the rest of this recap to see what happened in the latest episode of Lucifer. Continue reading “Recap of @LuciferonFOX “Favorite Son” from @kleffnotes”
