Legends of Lust: Erotic Myths from Around the World blends together two of author Autumn Bardot’s primary genres. In this book she goes through a variety of historical legends and rewrites tales between well known lovers into erotic short stories. Her stories span continents and time periods, but always come back to an amorous connection between two people. Legends of Lust is a mature read full of passion. Wireless and More Steam-Powered Adventures Book Review ( @QoSPress )from @kleffnotes

Take to the skies and become part of a variety of mysterious and thrilling events with the sequel to Alex Acks’ Murder on the Titania, Wireless and More Steam-Powered Adventures. This new book returns readers to the world of Captain Marta Ramos and her crew through three connected stories set in Acks’ steampunk style universe. Even though this is a sequel, this book can be read first, but I would strongly recommend that you read the first book before hand since there are some references to previous mysteries that would be a bit spoiled by reading this installment first. Fangirl Freakouts: Sam and Pat Are Depressed ( @_UndeadBurrito_ ) from @kleffnotes

Sam and Pat are Depressed season two is well under way and while I previously did a feature focusing on the new season, I wanted to spend a little more time delving into some elements, primarily guests, that I didn’t in that article. This series is a such an important work, not only for the focus it gives to mental health, but also for the inclusion of an asexual character. You can find Sam and Pat Are Depressed on Stareable and Seeka TV now, but soon it’ll be on YouTube. The Bi Line: Lip Service from @kleffnotes

Sometimes suggested watching on streaming services can be helpful, especially when they lead you to a series that you’ve never heard of before. Lip Service is a British television drama set in Glasgow, Scotland which was literally described by Hulu as like The L Word. When I first started the show I was struck with a tremendous amount of deja vu, not because of the plot, but because of the styling of the main character, Frankie. Sparks: The Way I Was Comic Review ( @glenn_matchett ) from @kleffnotes

Glenn Matchett is back with a sequel to his P.I. focused comic Sparks, which I previously wrote about as well as a few other works by Matchett. What makes this addition a bit of a shift in tone is that fact that it gives us not only a current day murder, but also flashes back to show readers how Mel Sparks came to be where she is today. This gripping read will push you to embrace and understand what can happen when someone finds themselves pushed to the edge. Tyrel Movie Review from @kleffnotes

In the vein of race focused features like Get Out, Tyrel focuses on a young man named Tyler who agrees to go to the mountains on a weekend birthday trip with one of his friends. The only downside of the trip is that Tyler is the only black man there. With heavy drinking and a secluded environment he begins to feel uneasy and slowly starts to feel like he is trapped in a nightmare situation. Continue reading “Tyrel Movie Review from @kleffnotes”

#ClexaCon 2019 Recap ( @ClexaCon )from @kleffnotes

ClexaCon 2019 is over and we’ve all left the bright lights of Las Vegas behind to return to our normal every day lives. Typically after a major trip or event I film a recap video, but with the number of topics connected to this year’s ClexaCon I believe an article will be a better vessel for covering everything in a clear and detailed way. This is not a short article and does include some more personal elements to the weekend outside of the convention itself. Continue reading “#ClexaCon 2019 Recap ( @ClexaCon )from @kleffnotes”
