Those were the lyrics of a Johnny Mercer tune. This song also provided the opening for the critically acclaimed, yet sadly, short lived ABC drama, Homefront.  Homefront began in 1993 and ran for only two seasons. It traced the lives of the citizens of the factory town of fictional River Run, Ohio in the post World War II era.

Fresh off the excitement that Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles (along with the third Winchester, the much beloved 1967 Chevy Impala known affectionately as Baby) have won Entertainment Weekly’s coveted cover leaving competitors in the dust on the road so far, it has been announced that actor Adam Rose is slated to reprise his role as Aaron Bass in Season 12.

Interview with Author Megan Padalecki @BigMoBook via @tdmiller820917

In 2015, San Antonio native Megan Padalecki took the literary world by storm with her debut children’s book, Big Mo. Since that time, it has been a thrilling ride for the former architect now author. The charismatic Padalecki has brought Big Mo’s story to bookstores, conventions and classrooms amassing a substantial and appreciative audience seduced by the incredible tale, exquisite illustrations and positive message of preserving the beauty of Earth’s natural resources. Big Mo received well-deserved accolades by readers and in the press. In addition, the book received industry acclaim when it was recognized with a prestigious National Indie Excellence Award for Best Picture Book.
Padalecki is poised to follow up on the success of Big Mo with her second book. This new book will introduce a brand new character. The second book is titled Little Moon.

Today is National Read A Book Day! Since I’m an unapologetic book lover and passionate book reviewer, this is my kind of celebration! I would make it a legal holiday, if I could, just like my birthday is a legal holiday. Well, my birthday is July 4th and it was a legal holiday before I was born, but I digress. My point is…I LOVE books. I can constantly be found on social media posting the numerous book reviews that I’ve written. I’ve written 60 book reviews so far in 2016. In addition, since I am now a published author myself, my love for books has taken on a new and even more appreciative dynamic. I’m extremely proud to belong to the published authors club.

When Leviathan leader Dick Roman shot and killed skilled hunter and Winchester surrogate father Bobby Singer, the boys weren’t the only ones who shed tears. Supernatural fans from all over the world mourned Bobby’s death. As Bobby became more and more obsessed with revenge against Roman, viewers feared that one of their favorite characters would become a vengeful spirit. In the end, Bobby ended up in Heaven (after a stint in Hell courtesy of King of Hell Crowley).
