Television writer Joey Adams may not be a household name, but he is a man of creative vision. While many creators of new programming are imprisoned by the long held, young oriented advertising model for scripted television, Adams is determined to take a bold step with Internity.

@curtisisbooger Goodbye, angel: Metatron’s swan song via @tdmiller820917

Curtis Armstrong may be best known to film audiences for playing a nerd, but to television viewers, he is the angel they love to hate. On The CW’s long running show Supernatural, Armstrong played Metatron, the scribe of God who sought to write himself as the hero in his own story. The problem was, it is nearly impossible to collect heroic accolades when you are behind your angelic brothers and sisters falling from Heaven, stealing another angel’s grace, orchestrating the murder of a good-natured prophet, or killing Dean Winchester.

Impending parenthood is a time filled with a rollercoaster of emotion from the excitement of sharing the beautiful and special bond with your child to the paralyzing fear that comes with being responsible for a new life. Some couples decide to celebrate this milestone by taking a “babymoon.” A babymoon is a vacation for a couple before the arrival of their little bundle of joy.

@jarpad Jared Padalecki in Friday the 13th via @tdmiller820917

After a long week, the good news is that it’s Friday. The bad news is that it’s Friday the 13th. For the superstitious, time to avoid those black cats and walking under ladders.

I’m not overly superstitious. But I admit that I find myself being a little bit more cautious on Friday the 13th. Yet, there is a way that I like to put a positive spin on this infamous date. I plan to watch Jared Padalecki in the movie Friday the13th.

I’ve been a huge fan of Jared Padalecki since he first appeared as Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls. In 2005, Padalecki became one of the demon hunting Winchester brothers, this time as Sam to Jensen Ackles’ Dean in The CW’s long running show Supernatural.

@AmyGumenick Amy Gumenick is delightful in TURN via @tdmiller820917

Amy Gumenick is one of those rare actresses who can effortlessly succeed at any acting challenge.

This is because Gumenick effectively uses all of the tools of her craft: Her eyes, her voice, her body language. Regardless of what character she portrays, viewers are captivated. We don’t question that she is the mother of heroic brothers Sam and Dean Winchester(Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) on The CW’s long running show Supernatural. Our hearts ache for Gumenick’s Mary who is unable to reconcile her hunter lifestyle against her desire for a normal life. Gumenick made Mary strong, yet there was a poignancy that she brought to the role that resonated with viewers.

Why I’m grateful that I write for @thenerdygirlexp in verse via @tdianemiller

I enjoy writing poetry. It has been my passion for many years. I am also very grateful and proud to be a contributing writer for The Nerdy Girl Express. I enjoy writing book reviews, interviewing authors (as well as actors and musicians) and writing original pieces. The Nerdy Girl Express has welcomed, supported and embraced me as a writer. They took a chance on trusting my creative instincts. The Nerdy Girl Express gives me the enjoyment that I wanted to have as a writer for an online publication.
