Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief, and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse (Maximus), an over-protective chameleon (Pascal) and a gruff gang of pub thugs. I’m not sure how many people read my articles who know I have an Instagram, but I do. While Twitter used to be my go to app, I slowly shifted away from using it and am now basically on Instagram only. I do get onto Twitter to retweet articles and sometimes to follow authors who might have followed me, but beyond that I’m not on the app. Instagram has become this place that I use to try and be creative. I had been feeling a bit like I was sort of stuck and kind of fell into the world of DisneyBounding. Now I had been creating some Star Wars/Batuu Bounds and mentioned that on here before, but I have started getting more involved with creating Disney Bounds.

On January 26, 2020, Disney Channel aired the episode Cassandra’s Revenge from Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure. In honor of this anniversary, I wanted to write about “Nothing Left To Lose” my favorite song in the entire Tangled series. The combined talents of Alan Menken, Glen Slater, Eden Espinosa, Jeremy Jordan, Tom Caulfield, Anna Lencioni and Ricky Roxburgh made this a tour de force in animation and one of the best (if not the best in my opinion) of any animated sequence ever produced.
Below I give four reasons why “Nothing Left To Lose” from Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure was an animated masterpiece.

Although I’ve dabbled in drawing, I am not an artist.
But after watching Disney’s Tangled: The Series and Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure, I was inspired to pick up a sketchbook again… something I haven’t done since 1991. The animation in this series is some of the best I’ve ever seen. I admire the creative talent behind this project. So it’s been fun drawing characters like Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra and Varian.
Below I talk about taking pencil to paper again after twenty-nine years and some of the challenges I’ve faced recreating the people and animals in the Kingdom of Corona.
Known as the little cinnamon roll by the Tangled fandom, Varian (voiced by Jeremy Jordan) is the smart, clumsy but well intentioned alchemist. He’s been both friend and foe to Rapunzel. Varian has a hero’s heart and wants to do good. But above all, make his father proud.
Varian’s story arc saw the character develop from a boy full of excitement over his latest invention, to someone seeking revenge after a betrayal and finally Corona’s most trusted royal engineer.
My Top Five Varian episodes took him on the road of self discovery with a pit stop to villainy along the way.
With Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure’s “Waiting In The Wings” winning the 2020 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Original Song in a Children’s, Young Adult or Animated Program as well as fandom talk of a Cass Spinoff, the character of Cassandra is taking center stage. Broadway Star Eden Espinosa voices Cassandra giving her emotional depth and making her one of the most popular characters in the Tangled franchise.
