Fangirl Freakouts: #HarleyQuinn Movie from @kleffnotes

It was announced this week that Warner Brothers will be working on a Harley Quinn movie with Margot Robbie and that seemed like the perfect topic for a Fangirl Freakouts video. I give you my thoughts and hopes for the future movie, and do some hinting about wanting to be involved. I mean just in case you are listening DC and Warner Brothers. @jarpad Jared Padalecki in Friday the 13th via @tdmiller820917

After a long week, the good news is that it’s Friday. The bad news is that it’s Friday the 13th. For the superstitious, time to avoid those black cats and walking under ladders.

I’m not overly superstitious. But I admit that I find myself being a little bit more cautious on Friday the 13th. Yet, there is a way that I like to put a positive spin on this infamous date. I plan to watch Jared Padalecki in the movie Friday the13th.

I’ve been a huge fan of Jared Padalecki since he first appeared as Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls. In 2005, Padalecki became one of the demon hunting Winchester brothers, this time as Sam to Jensen Ackles’ Dean in The CW’s long running show Supernatural.

#CaptainAmericaCivilWar Character Appreciation Post: #ScarletWitch from @kleffnotes

I was able to see Captain America: Civil War this weekend and with the amount of reviews already out there I thought I would instead focus on a character that I really enjoyed from the movie. I will say that I loved the movie and thought the plot was even more engaging and complex than I initially expected. The fight sequences were also fantastic, kudos to all those stunt people because seriously they were doing some intense work. Now with that sort of review done I want to focus on how amazing Scarlet Witch was in this movie, but no spoilers. Think of this as a teaser for why you should go see the movie. If you grew up in the 80s, chances are you are a fan of some of the classic teen movies of that era like National Lampoon’s Vacation, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Weird Science.  These films starred a young actor named Anthony Michael Hall, who celebrates his birthday today, April 14.

Have You Gone To The Forest? A DVD Release Review from @kleffnotes

Last night I had a chance to watch The Forest starring Natalie Dormer. I considered seeing this movie in theaters, but decided to wait for the dvd release. I’m kind of picky about which horror movies I see in theaters, I also don’t always get a chance to catch movies at my local theater. The Forest comes out on dvd and blu-ray this Tuesday so I thought I would give it a shot in the comfort of my own home, which was definitely a better plan than seeing it in the theater. Que Sera Sera #HappyBirthdayDorisDay via @stacyamiller85 #DorisDay @DorisDayTribute

When I think of Doris Day, two things stand out in my mind: The song Sentimental Journey and the movie Pillow Talk with Rock Hudson.  Probably because these were my mom’s two favorite Doris Day contributions and became mine as well. Like Doris Day, my mom would have also turned 92 this year.

Fangirl Freakouts: @BatmanvSuperman Review from @kleffnotes

I finally got to see Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and it dawned on me that you might want to see some sort of review. Yep, that’s a terrible pun, but now everything after it will just seem that much more awesome by comparison. My latest Fangirl Freakouts video is all about the movie and is mostly spoiler free. I mention one spoiler, but there’s warning I promise. Continue reading “Fangirl Freakouts: @BatmanvSuperman Review from @kleffnotes”
