Anyone who has read my articles knows that I have been a huge fan of the upcoming show Damien and have been trying my best to bring you all the new details about it. The show finally aired this past Monday and you’re just now seeing my review for it on Friday. Why? (Spoilers!)

The second half of this season has been very different than the first. While the beginning was fast paced and sit on the edge of your seat at all times. The second has been much slower. Not necessarily in a bad way, but more in exploring the characters rather than them reacting to the situations around them. This past weeks episode, Knots Untie, really starts to show how everyone and everything is changing for our group. Spoilers ahead.

It’s been a long wait, but it’s finally over! Gotham is back in our lives for the Spring Premiere! The previous episode had some ups and downs. The downs mostly went to Theo Galavan whose plot to kill the “Son of Gotham”, aka Bruce Wayne, to redeem the Dumas family name fell apart completely. Penguin and Nygma teamed up with Jim Gordon to help undo what Galavan had done. The very end of the episode gave us a hint into what was to come. We got a glimpse at a laboratory-like room complete with giant tanks of fluid with bodies inside, and a man with goggles and a freeze gun! Fast-forward to tonight’s premier.

We open with a beautiful musical number with Lucifer, Tom Ellis, serenading the club, while in a different part of the city a man finds himself on the wrong side of a robbery. Oh and not just any robbery, but one that can be linked directly back to our beloved title character. That enough to draw you in? I know it happened almost a week ago, but it’s taken me this long to calm down and be able to actually write a review. Otherwise it would have all been angry keyboard smashing.
iZombie has a way of continually surprising its fans in a way that never gets old. Stellar writing has that side effect. The latest episode, Eternal Sunshine of the Caffeinated Mind, does this several times over and it is a great episode to leave off while the CW decided to have yet another hiatus.
