Keezy Young’s Taproot is a sweet and touching romance between two young men, with a bit of a supernatural spin. Hamal is a young gardener who just so happens to be able to see ghosts. One of these ghosts is a young man around his age named Blue and while it goes unspoken between them there is a deep connection that has been growing since the day they met. More recently Blue has been periodically disappearing and finding himself in a spooky place outside of the living world and this place reveals secrets that neither Blue nor Hamal ever anticipated. Interview with Nik Kacy from @kleffnotes

I had the opportunity to chat with designer, NiK Kacy about their upcoming Equality Fashion Week in Los Angeles. This is the first event of its kind in the LA area and is being run to help give a spotlight to LGBT+ designers and their work, as well as help benefit the LGBT+ community through outreach. A Long Road to Freedom Interview with Billy Clift and David Millbern from @kleffnotes

I had the opportunity to chat digitally with Billy Clift and David Millbern about their upcoming film, A Long Road to Freedom: The Advocate Celebrates 50 Years, which will be screening at Outfest on Thursday the 19th in Beverly Hills. The third book in the Urban Fairytales series by Erik Schubach, Ella: Cinders and Ash is told from the point of view of Parker Devareau. After getting a flat tire on the night of a full moon Parker suddenly finds herself involved in the mystical battle between werewolves and supernatural women happening within and around Seattle. Snow: The White Crow is the second in the Urban Fairytales series from Erik Schubach. The first book in the series introduced Red Hood and her hellhound companion and lover, this second book introduces us to the magical Gretta Snow. Much like Mari, the Red Hood, Gretta has lived for centuries and is blessed with powers that were willed to her by a supernatural being. Snow: The White Crow grows the world of the Urban Fairytales universe and sets up a larger overarching plot for the rest of the series.
