Why We Love @carmillaseries on @KindaTV_ Project Collected From Fans by @kleffnotes

The webseries Carmilla, that currently airs on KindaTV and is sponsored by U by Kotex, will be airing its final season starting on September 15th. Before the series ends I wanted to take the time to collect some of the reason why fans adore this wonderful series so that others could see just how much Carmilla means to Creampuffs. All of the responses I received were submitted on Twitter.

“Things I love about Carmilla: great story, characters, and amazing representation of women, different genders, and orientations of the LGBT+ community. I love how it makes little mistakes, like a slip of a line, or you can see the actors mic packs, feels like a stage play. I love the cast and crew are so involved with the fandom! So funny, kind, and talented! Their enthusiasm for this little webseries is amazing! I love how they pour themselves into each line, you can totally see that in each and every second.” -@TerribleGamerYL

“I love this series because of the humor and chemistry between Natasha Negovanlis and Elise Bauman.” -@mic1966

“Red heads, great story, that good ass chemistry between the characters, what more could I ask for.” -@wickedlysaint

“Carmilla was the first web series that I had ever watched, and when I did it instantaneously seemed like I had a new perspective and a bunch of new friends. When I found this show I found my fan family. This series is incredibly inclusive and interactive. From the cast to the crew to the transmedia, everyone makes you feel like a part of the process and immersed in the series. I have learned so much about myself and my community. I am inspired, engaged, and enlightened from watching Carmilla. The writing is riveting, the cast captivating, and the show beyond special. I found a home, a family, and a fandom.” -@GoodHumorGrl (Lisa Steinberg)

I included the tweet as an unofficial addition to the Why We Love Carmilla Project. I was just really excited that Natasha noticed one of the tweets.

I shared some of the many reasons that I love Carmilla in a post on my personal blog titled, Why I Love Carmilla, but just briefly I would like to say here that Carmilla led me to seek out more webseries and that watching it showed me the world as I wish to see it, where everyone is accepted for who they are, no matter how they choose to identify or who they choose to love. This week is Silas Orientation Week so keep an eye out for Carmilla updates from KindaTV  on TwitterInstagram, and YouTube and from the Carmilla Series on TwitterTumblr, and Instagram. There’s a lot going on so try to stay calm Creampuffs, even though I know we are all like Laura’s dad right now.
