I am writing this from the past, but thought that this would be a good day to focus on our readers taking some time for selfcare. No matter what has happened in recent hours or what will happen I want … Continue reading Take a Break Today from @kleffnotes

After an extended video hiatus I am back with my now lovely wife Krista, though we are still using Kleffgo for videos we do together. This is a bit of a rough recording, mostly because we decided to use my phone and I did literally no editing. I will say I did not create a transcript, which was mostly due to the fact that I was trying to get this out pretty quickly and didn’t have time to get one done. I do though hope that you enjoy this video and let us know what you thought about the snacks. Continue reading Halloween Candy and Snack Taste Test with Kleffgo Video from @kleffnotes
Some days I just sort of fall down a YouTube rabbit hole and when that happens I normally find new folks to watch or at least some new videos to check out. A lot of the YouTube I’ve been watching … Continue reading YouTube, but Make it Halloween from @kleffnotes
Rounding out our interviews with the cast of Running With Violet, I had the chance to talk with Jessii Vee. The actor and YouTuber plays Frankee, the slightly witchy babysitter from Season One who has started to find new skills this season. She was one of my favorite characters in the first season and I was excited to see she was back for more one liners and epic levels of snark. I got to chat with her about this new season and what she’s up to outside of the series. Continue reading “Interview with Jessii Vee from @kleffnotes”
Running With Violet, the hit YouTube series, just returned for a second season with more drama and unexpected drug dealing. I had the opportunity to ask one of the stars and creators, Marie Claire Marcotte, who plays Miranda. If you haven’t checked out this great series yet you are definitely missing out, check out my interview and then get to watching Season Two right away. …And just like that, the music scene of 2019 has been revived and stabilized.
Following up with their 2017 AWKOHAWNOH (All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell) sophomore album, PVRIS has renovated their look, sound, and record deal. Once signed to Rise Records, the group has a new deal with Warner Music. I personally believe this will give them more space to grow into their defining sound, as well as give them a bigger platform and spotlight, both well deserved and earned.
The darkly comedic web series Insomnia drops the final episode of the limited series today and to get you ready for the final episodes I wanted to share my thoughts on the show so far. Set in New York City, Insomnia follows bisexual, Indian American writer Nikhil Sharma as he tries to figure out his life. Shown through single camera, the story follows Nikhil in his secret work as a male escort where he is confronted by issues of race, sexuality, loneliness, and just general lack of sleep. The series was inspired by a brief real life encounter when creator and star of the show, Vishaal Reddy, was asked by someone in NYC if he had ever considered being an escort. After seeing a lack of positive representation in the media he took this idea and evolved it into Insomnia. Continue reading “Insomnia Web Series Review from @kleffnotes”
This week I am delving into some web series that I have already previously discussed in some capacity on The Nerdy Girl Express. I absolutely adore both I Put the Bi in Bitter and Barbelle, both of which I covered in Fangirl Freakouts videos, and second seasons of both released earlier this year. I know I’m a bit behind in talking about them, especially since I covered roughly the first half of Barbelle Season Two a while back, but I am here and ready to gush. After ages, I finally sat down and watched all of Legends of Tomorrow so that I could be caught up for this magical new season. Since I’ve recently been super into the show I thought I would just sit down and chat everything I am loving about the latest episodes.
