No Dress Code Required Movie Review from @kleffnotes

The award winning documentary, No Dress Code Required, is screening this week at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival in New York and while I was not able to attend these screenings in person I was given the opportunity to the watch the film. In this feature, directed by Cristina Herrera Borquez, we are introduced to Victor and Fernando, two men who are deeply in love and wish to get married in Baja California, Mexico. As they begin their journey toward matrimony they are beset with a number of discouraging setbacks and exhausting governmental back and forth. #Reign Exclusive: Interview With Queen Mary via @stacyamiller85 @reignwriters @AdelaideKane

When Reign began, Queen Mary of Scotland (Adelaide Kane) returned to French Court. She was betrothed to Prince Francis (Toby Regbo).  The two had met as children and were promised to each other in marriage. Francis’ mother Queen Catherine (Megan Follows) worried about the match after her trusted adviser Nostradamus predicted that a marriage between Mary and Francis would lead to Francis’ death. The couple did eventually wed.  But the union was short lived as Francis suffered from an illness before he was killed trying to protect Mary.  Since Francis’ death, Mary has contended with treachery from those wanting to overthrow her.  After the death of her close friend Lola at the hands of Mary’s cousin Queen Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) of England, who ordered Lola’s execution, Mary vowed that she’d rule over England as well as Scotland.

But with everything going on in her life (including the recent birth of her son), Queen Mary was gracious enough to take time from her schedule to speak with me. PALADIN TO RELEASE “THEY REMAIN” Genre-Bending Thriller By Philip Gelatt To Open In Fall via @kleffnotes

New York- June 14, 2017– Paladin has acquired domestic theatrical rights to THEY REMAIN, a genre-bending experience in terror written and directed by Philip Gelatt, it was announced by company president Mark Urman. Gelatt, who has amassed impressive credentials as an innovative, versatile creator of sophisticated genre content in a variety of mediums, has re-teamed on the project with Reno Productions, with whom he made his acclaimed debut feature, “The Bleeding House,” which premiered at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival. The deal was negotiated by Urman and Reno principal, Will Battersby, who served as the film’s producer. Paladin and Reno are prepping THEY REMAIN for a film festival launch and theatrical release commencing in the Fall.
