On March 23, 1987, CBS premiered a new daytime drama The Bold and The Beautiful.

Created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, The Bold and The Beautiful centered around The Forrester family and their fashion design empire Forrester Creations. “The Bold and the Beautiful looks into the lives of wealthy families and how love affairs, scandals, and betrayals affect each of the family members and their relationships with each other(Wikipedia)”

Since its premiere The Bold and The Beautiful has the honor of being the most watched soap in the world. On Friday, January 4, 2019, The Bold and The Beautiful hits a milestone with the airing of its 8000th episode.  Congratulations to the writers, cast and crew of the CBS daytime drama on reaching this important milestone!

John McCook (Eric) and Katherine Kelly Lang are the only actors who’ve been on the soap since its premiere episode.
