What rises Wentworth above just being another show about people in prison is the characters. They are not stereotypes of those incarcerated but could be real individuals who made mistakes and are now answering for them.
When Leviathan leader Dick Roman shot and killed skilled hunter and Winchester surrogate father Bobby Singer, the boys weren’t the only ones who shed tears. Supernatural fans from all over the world mourned Bobby’s death. As Bobby became more and more obsessed with revenge against Roman, viewers feared that one of their favorite characters would become a vengeful spirit. In the end, Bobby ended up in Heaven (after a stint in Hell courtesy of King of Hell Crowley).

TNT re-aired the Supernatural Season 7 episode “Shut Up, Dr. Phil” September 13 and it made me think how much the show needs The Starks in Season 14.
Mark Pellegrino is a busy man. The Lost alum endeared himself to countless Supernatural fans for his riveting portrayal of Lucifer. There is a twinge of irony realizing that Pellegrino played the Devil and in doing so, he make an evil character one of the most beloved in Supernatural history.
