Good Neighbors, Bad Times Revisited: New Echoes of My Father’s German Village Book Review from @kleffnotes

Good Neighbors, Bad Times was a memoir released by Mimi Schwartz in 2008 and she had not expected to delve back into her father’s story and the German village she had written about. Ten years later though she would be contacted by a man named Max Sayer, an 89 year old man in South Australia, who shared his story with her. He had grown up Catholic in the same village during the Third Reich. This led Schwartz to have a changed of perspective on the topic of being a neighbor in times of hate. This newly created book weaves excerpts from Sayer’s memoir and hers, which creates a different sort of story.

A Tale of Two Blue Milks from @kleffnotes

With zero trips to Galaxy’s Edge under our belts, Krista and I don’t really have a basis for comparing Blue Milks to something in Batuu. This was sort of a bigger thing during the early days of quarantine, but recently with our Star Wars marathon I have wanted to give it a try. The two recipes I found are both Disney shared, but are very different from each other and let me tell you they were not what I expected at all.

#TheHustler A Little Bit Of Finger Pointing S1Ep8 Season Finale Preview via @stacyamiller85 @TheHustlerABC @CraigyFerg

The Hustler is a reality game show hosted by Craig Ferguson. ABC airs a sneak peek January 4, 2020 after The Bachelor.

Each episode of The Hustler follows five contestants as they collaborate to answer a series of 10 trivia questions worth $10,000 each, with the goal of building a collective prize pot that increases with each correct answer. The catch? One of the five contestants, the Hustler, already knows the answers because every question is inspired by his/her life and interests but must keep their identity a secret in order to have a shot at winning the grand prize. Throughout each episode, two contestants are anonymously eliminated by the Hustler, leaving three remaining contestants—the Hustler and two others—who must collectively decide who they think the Hustler is. If they are right, they share the prize pot that could be worth over $100,000. If the two contestants are wrong, the Hustler goes home with the full cash reward.
