ClexaCon is often emphasized as a place to indulge in your fandoms, but it is also an educational experience. There are a number of featured workshops including Improv for Confidence Building with Natasha Negovanlis, Speed Pitching: Pitch to Production by Tello Films, and Unlocking Your Creative Core with Elise Bauman, but there are also smaller workshops being run by attendees of the convention. This year ClexaCon has added some special Thursday additions that are part of new partnerships they have established. ClexaCon is teaming up with SAG-AFTRA, YouTube Space L.A., Outfest, and UNLV to bring something new to their convention. This is the third consecutive year of the convention and the second year it will be held at the Tropicana and for this third year the focus is on education and helping new creators find their way. With a diverse group of over 4,000 attendees from more than 40 countries last year, this year’s ClexaCon is looking to make the one of kind experience even more unique.
