#TheXFiles Episode 2: Founders Mutation

For the second night in a row, America was gifted with a new X-Files episode. This one was called Founders Mutation, and it brought us back to the heart of the X-Files. Where Mulder and Scully shine best trying to save innocent people who cannot help the situation they’re in. It also shined a light onto Mulder and Scully’s hearts and it was heartbreaking.

Lucifer Pilot Review from @kleffnotes

Speeding, bribing a cop, and a wonderful soundtrack were a perfect introduction to this remarkably sexy show. Yes, I said sexy. Seriously, not only is the entire cast remarkably attractive, but the setting itself is just so gorgeous, I couldn’t look away from it. Continue reading “Lucifer Pilot Review from @kleffnotes”

#TheXFiles Episode 1 and Why It’s Meant to be Confusing

As the Nerdy Girl Express has noted before, we have been beyond excited for the return of the X-Files. Last night it finally happened, but not before FOX must have been taken over by the government and aliens; which is the only explanation I can come up with to their terrible handling of the show’s premiere. Final Stay at the Hotel Cortez

This is my final AHS Hotel review and I’m pretty sad to see this show go. I’ve really enjoyed this season, even if I did have some issues with some plot things. Overall though I really have been enjoying myself on Wednesday nights. Congrats to Lady Gaga on her Golden Globe! Now let’s get to the review, I’m writing it as I watch the show, just fyi. #iZombie Returns but on Hiatus Again

Last night we saw the return of iZombie with their newest episode, ‘Method Head.’ It was indeed method and full of so many funny and touching moments that I hope I can remember them all for you. It was a bowlful of ‘mental pork rinds’ as the good doctor Ravi Chakrabarti would say. Then we’ll get into iZombie’s ratings and CW’s strange and worrying behavior with the shows scheduling. #BadisBack – Watching Breaking Bad for the First Time

I have many, many television shows I need to watch or catch up on. Knowing this I immediately decided to add a new one when I saw that the Sundance channel was going to start showing Breaking Bad. For anyone who has no idea about the show, it’s about Walter White. A chemistry teacher who finds out he has terminal cancer and decides to make meth as a means to leave his family much needed money. It’s critically acclaimed and I’ve never heard of anyone who has watched it and not liked it. I have always been sad that I missed out on it in the beginning and knew this start could be mine too. Breaking Bad comes on every Wednesday at 9/ET on the Sundance channel and for the first week they decided to show the beginning four episodes. I binged, I binged hard. I ended up watching them all in a row and these are my thoughts on the beginning of the series. Warning: spoilers in case you haven’t seen it. The Hurt Stalker – iZombie Episode Review

This past week’s episode of iZombie is once again one of the best of the season. Season two is really knocking it out of the park on great episodes. This time we deal with Liv on stalker brains, where she does and does not find out some very important things. Not to mention we finally get a Clive centric episode-hallelujah! Continue reading “The Hurt Stalker – iZombie Episode Review”
