Mark Pellegrino is a busy man. The Lost alum endeared himself to countless Supernatural fans for his riveting portrayal of Lucifer. There is a twinge of irony realizing that Pellegrino played the Devil and in doing so, he make an evil character one of the most beloved in Supernatural history.

On Thursday, September 18, 2008, Dean Winchester experienced a miracle. He was pulled out of Hell by an Angel who exclaimed “I’m the one who grabbed you tight and raised you from Perdition.” And with those words, the introduction of Castiel and his place in the life of the Winchesters was forever cemented.
Like so many fans out there, Supernatural has become a part of our lives. We enjoy watching the show, reading about the cast and crew as well as talking with other fans. Everyone has their reasons for starting the show (Mine was because I am a huge Gilmore Girls fan and when I learned Jared Padalecki, who had played Dean Forester, would be in it I knew I would be watching). But no matter who I speak with, the main reason Supernatural is so popular is the brothers’ relationship. Their love and commitment that they would die (and have) for each other.

Creation Entertainment’s Salute to Supernatural is taking place this weekend in Minnesota. Thousands of fans from across the country will be attending to see their favorite actors from the show they love, participate in events and mingle with each other.
