Set in 1905 in the British controlled India, Where the Sun Will Rise Tomorrow, focuses on Leela and her younger sister Maya. Following the Japanese victory over Russia the two sisters are taking part in wearing homespun clothing to show that India refuses to be oppressed going forward. The Category Is…Mexico City Review from @kleffnotes

The Category Is recently dropped the first season of this anthology docuseries on Revry. The first season, The Category is…Mexico City, showcases the ballroom culture and vogue scene that exists outside of New York City. This idea was first introduced in the GLAAD-awarded INTO House of Mamis. Revry took this topic and expanded it into a large first season for a larger anthology. Handmade Puppet Dreams Review from @kleffnotes

Heather Henson, the famed daughter of masterful Muppet and puppet creator Jim Henson, is bringing a new TV series to Amazon that will focus on creative puppet stories. Various forms of storytelling and creative puppetry bring to life a diverse assortment of stories that celebrate different creators from across the country. The Bi Line: The Good Place and Good Characters from @kleffnotes

The Good Place has ended, which I suppose might mean we are all currently in the Bad Place, but I would prefer not to delve into the semantics of that. What I loved about the show, beyond the acting and insightful examinations of humanity, was the fact that Eleanor was just so casually bisexual. I’m not sure if she ever used that term herself, but I have seen that term used on social media and as someone who is very committed to the identifier bisexual I loved the idea that a character played by Kristen Bell could be using that same term. Set in February 1994 in Lynwood, Louisiana No Truth Left to Tell drops readers into a time of terror in a southern town. The Klan has returned with a vengeance and they are pushing to start a race war with crosses that light up the night sky. Adrien Rush, a federal civil rights prosecutor, will learn that these dark roots run deep in this town. Nettie Wynn, a victim of the cross burnings has been a lifelong resident of the town and when her granddaughter comes to town the successful journalist will find herself pulled into this new environment. The Wise Friend Book Review from @kleffnotes
