The Bi Line: Alice & Iza @ClexaCon Feature from @kleffnotes

For my second Tello Films feature of the month I’ve actually chosen something you’ll be able to see at ClexaCon. As part of the Film Festival they will be screening their short, Alice & Iza. Both leads, much like with Nikki & Nora, have been announced as featured guests for ClexaCon 2019. Mandahla Rose plays Iza and is a returning ClexaCon guest and Guinevere Turner will be there for her first year and plays Alice. This short includes a number of other faces you might recognize including Bridget MacManus, Karmen Kregloe, and so many more. Craving Book Review from @kleffnotes

Boekenweek, also known as Book Week, is an annual period dedicated to literature that has been held every year in the Netherlands and Belgium. Events are held throughout the Netherlands and this year it is taking place from March 23rd to March 31st and World Editions is celebrating by releasing special translated editions of books by Dutch and Belgium authors. The Nerdy Girl Express is taking part in this celebration by sharing reviews of two of the special World Editions books. Speechless Book Review from @kleffnotes

Speechless an emotional read that combines fact and fiction to share the story of the life of author Tom Lanoye’s mother. This is one of the books that has been released in a translated form by World Editions in celebration of Boekenweek. This annual celebration of literature has existed since 1932 and this year is running from March 23rd to March 31st. World Editions is sharing the literature by a variety of contemporary writers from the Netherlands and Belgium for an international audience.
