Sam Hooker expands the world of his Terribly Serious Darkness series with book two, Soul Remains. Sloot Peril wakes up on a grave and realizes that at some point he has died. Yes, died, Sloot has become a ghost and joined a number of his friends in the Hereafter. The Wilted Flower District Book Review from @kleffnotes

The Wilted Flower District is a follow-up to a book I previously review on The Nerdy Girl Express, Forgotten Violets. In this new addition to the series the focus is on the child of Meadow Noone, the main character of the first book, Violet Noone. After the death of her mother and father, Violet is being raised by a friend of her parents and she even has two adopted siblings. One of these siblings will lead Violet to become involved in a murder investigation and a number of other dangerous events in The Domain. Die Again, Mr. Holmes Book Review from @kleffnotes

Lucy James, now Lucy Kelly after marrying police inspector Jack in the previous novel in the Sherlock Holmes/Lucy James series. In Die Again, Mr. Holmes Lucy and her famous father have both been tasked with finding a missing person in cases that surprisingly become linked. While looking at all of the great web series being screened at ClexaCon I was excited to see some familiar names on the list and jumped at the chance to reach out for an interview. I have chatted with Cheska Bacaltos before about another webseries she worked on, It’s Complicated, and I have seen Daniel Luna in another webseries, which has been featured on this site a number of times, The Leslie. Both of these exceptionally creative people are part of a new webseries that will be debuting at ClexaCon, Functional, and I chatted with them about their parts in the series and what they are looking forward to at the convention this year. Every year ClexaCon hosts a Film Festival full of diverse LGBTQ+ content and I thought that for my two March Bi-Line articles I would feature some content from one specific company. Death March Escape Book Review from @kleffnotes

Jack J. Hersch delves into his father’s history in this book Death March Escape: The Remarkable Story of a Man Who Twice Escaped From the Nazi Holocaust. After a phone call from his cousin revealed to Hersch that his father was being showcased on the website for the Mauthausen Concentration Camp. On the page was a picture that his father had to given to someone and after learning that Dave Hersch had gone back to where he had suffered, his son wants to understand why he made this choice and what his experience was like. Work for a Million Graphic Novel Feature from @kleffnotes

The first lesbian detective is coming back to life in the brand new adaptation of Eve Zaremba’s 1978 series starring the PI Helen Karemos. Based on the novel novel, Work for a Million, Amanda Deibert and Selena Goulding are creating a new graphic novel of the same name.
