Book Review: When Darkness Breaks by @tmsanders2014 via @tdmiller820917

Author Traci Sanders has crafted a poignant story of love, hope, forgiveness and renewal in her emotionally captivating treasure, When Darkness Breaks. The allure of this book is that these emotions are universal. While the circumstances in which the characters find themselves may not mirror our own experiences, we can, perhaps, painfully recall moments in our lives when we lost everything and couldn’t see beyond the darkness that engulfed us. Yet, life is full of promise where the sun lurks behind a cloudy day. And when darkness breaks, a new day can begin to once again champion hope.

@NikkiL_Books Book Review: It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Chick Lit, A Holiday Anthology via @tdmiller820917

Whether chestnuts will be roasting on an open fire or Jack Frost decides to nip at your nose, the holiday season with its warm sentiment to fill your heart will soon be upon us.

Chick Lit authors are particularly skilled in creating characters and plots that are accessible across all genders and age groups. The trick, I suspect, is that the authors in this genre are observers of life. They view people and events through compassionate and perceptive eyes and let their writing talent become the voice for human emotions.

Book Review: Rune of the Apprentice by @StoneJamison via @tdmiller820917

There is an challenge for an author of epic fantasy that it is often absent for writers of other genres: To create a new and exciting world solely from the building blocks of one’s imagination. Epic fantasy writers must have faith in the evolving images of their mind’s eye without the luxury of the physical attributes of an environment that is readily available. Such a frightening prospect yet one with creatively freeing rewards.

Review of #BufferingBook by @harto ( @deystreet ) from @kleffnotes

Have you ever read a book that you couldn’t put down? You know that the world is happening around you, but you just want to stay focused on the words in front of you, making sure that you take in every single one before you close the book. That was how I felt the moment I picked up Buffering by Hannah Hart. I literally didn’t want to stop reading it, heck I had wanted to be reading it ever since she read excerpts from it on YouTube, so finally having the book in my hands was like finding water in the desert, which is literally something Hart can do.
