Werewolf is not a horror movie, though the title might initially lead you to believe that, but rather a film about the horrors of addiction. The plot follows Blaise and Nessa, who are methadone users who have become outcasts in their small town. Their addiction pulls the two of them together and while Nessa wants to try and get away from this life their addictive personalities keep them trapped in a vicious cycle. The short film Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, written and directed by Emerson Gullifer, uses the character of Lizzie as a way to examine the world of theater and how difficult it is for women to advance in the way that men can. The film focuses on a production of Macbeth, in which Lizzie has been cast as Lady Macduff. As rehearsals begin the director insists upon creating a viscerally charged version of the play, which begins to push Lizzie to her breaking point. White Ash is a comic series that focuses on the son of a miner named Aleck who falls for an elite mine owner daughter, Lillian. Their Romeo and Juliet-esque story takes on a supernatural twist when Aleck learns that he is something more than human.
