You Can See More From Up Here Book Review from @kleffnotes
Mark Guerin’s coming of age story You Can See More From Up Here delves into what happens when lies grow into something unexpected and push family members apart. In 2004, Walker Maguire is summoned to his estranged father’s bedside and in that moment he finds himself turning his mind back to 1974. This is the year where his father, unhappy about retiring from the Air Force and now a plant physician, and Walker found their lives diverging. When a bloody fight, witnessed by Walker, is falsely blamed on a Mexican immigrant, he keeps quiet and these lies and eventual betrayals break the relationship between father and son. In order to move beyond what happened back then the two men will have to confront the past and examine how it has led to their present. Disney’s The Lion King Opens In Theaters July 19, 2019 via @stacyamiller85 @disneylionking #TheLionKing
The Lion King is a 2019 American musical film directed and produced by Jon Favreau, written by Jeff Nathanson and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. It is a photorealistic computer-animated remake of Disney’s traditionally animated 1994 film The Lion King. The film stars the voices of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eichner, John Kani, John Oliver and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as well as James Earl Jones reprising his role from the original film. The plot follows Simba, a young lion who must embrace his role as the rightful king of his native land following the murder of his father, Mufasa, at the hands of his uncle, Scar (Wikipedia).
My Top Ten Angel Season 4 Episodes via @stacyamiller85 @AllCharisma @David_Boreanaz @AlexisDenisof @jaugustrichards @AmyAcker #VincentKartheiser #AngelBites20 #AngeltheSeries #AngelReunion
The earlier seasons of a television series faces the toughest critics. But for the television series Angel, the fourth season was considered it’s most problematic with some even calling it the show’s worst season. I don’t entirely agree with this. I admit there was a particular story that I still question the writers choice in making, but for me Angel Season Four sadly gets a bum rap. I feel badly about the criticisms the actors have faced over the years (in particular Charisma Carpenter). They were part of a show that has a lasting legacy and a cemented place in television history.
In my opinion, Angel Season Four contained some great episodes. I give my choices for the Top Ten Angel Season 4 episodes. Read below to see whether any of your favorites made the list.
Interview with Jessii Vee from @kleffnotes
Rounding out our interviews with the cast of Running With Violet, I had the chance to talk with Jessii Vee. The actor and YouTuber plays Frankee, the slightly witchy babysitter from Season One who has started to find new skills this season. She was one of my favorite characters in the first season and I was excited to see she was back for more one liners and epic levels of snark. I got to chat with her about this new season and what she’s up to outside of the series. Continue reading “Interview with Jessii Vee from @kleffnotes”
