Not only is he grieving them, but he is also trying to cope with the knowledge that vampires killed them. With his memory trying to show him what really happened they night he lost everything and a new therapist and friend pushing him to work things out Hunter is drawn deep into a fight against the evil stalking the streets of Chicago in this movie. The Neon Demon Movie Review from @kleffnotes

The Neon Demon is a flashy and beautiful film set in the modeling industry in Los Angeles. As the movie plays the use of lights and editing techniques makes it feel as though you are in some cases watching an art installation come to life. At first glance you would not expect this to be a horror film, but as it progresses the darkness that lies within the world of the models slowly begins to leak out. The Ice Cream Truck Movie Review from @kleffnotes

Mary just moved back to the town she grew up in and is trying to adjust to suburbia. For the first time in ages she is alone, but only because her kids are still in school. As a writer she has the flexibility to move earlier than the rest of her family and get the house set up. What strikes her about this new neighborhood is that there is an ice cream truck that drives through almost all day long. The Meaning of Blood Book Review from @kleffnotes

The Meaning of Blood and Other Tales of Perversity by Chuck Caruso is a horror anthology from Cloud Lodge Books. This collection has a strong Southern feel too it, with some of the stories expressly using characters who speak in very specific drawls or who happen to have nicknames that fit within the paradigm of a Southern setting. Each of the stories draws on elements of the horror genre and creates vignettes of mayhem and destruction for the reader. Set up as a sort of found footage film E-Demon presents itself as the full recording of a real call between friends that led to a massive multi-state murder.
