I was lucky a couple days ago when my schedule opened up and I was able to go and see the latest marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, in 3D. I had really enjoyed the first one, but admittedly was a bit apprehensive for the second installment. Sequels are almost never as good/funny as the original and the first GotG was both. How did the second volume stack up? Read on below to find out. Also no spoilers except a few pics, very general impressions about the characters and what happened to them during the film. Don’t be a trash panda and skip this because of that-read it anyways!

We all know of the huge gap in our lives tonight; that iZombie is not showing a new episode due to the holiday break. Other than drink myself into a stupor with some spicy Bloody Mary’s, I thought another way to spend this night was getting to know the origin, cast and crew of iZombie a little better. So as any good nerd would, I did my research and I’m letting you all into it exclusively via The Nerdy Girl Express. Continue reading “A Little Something for Your Brains iZombie Fans”

Tomorrow American Ultra starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart comes out on dvd and blu-ray. When I saw the previews for it I didn’t know if I really wanted to see it, but I’m glad that I did. My review will tell you just what instant noodles, a cast iron skillet, and Hawaiian shirts have in common. Continue reading “Stoner Spies of West Virginia”
