Wentworth Season One and Two Recap

When I say Netflix prison drama you probably think I’m talking about Orange is the New Black, right? Well while I do love the ladies of Litchfield, we are going down under to the even more intense women’s prison, Wentworth. The series is a modern re-imagining of Prisoner, a prison based soap opera style drama that aired in the 1970’s and 80’s. Wentworth in just its first two seasons takes you on a roller-coaster of craziness with a diverse cast of characters and remarkably well written plot lines. Have you heard about WiSHCon? Well, if you haven’t then you are definitely missing out on something amazing! November 18th to the 20th of this year WiSHCon, short for Women in Sci-Fi and Horror Convention, will take place in Columbus, Ohio. The Green Inferno in Review

Eli Roth’s latest movie, The Green Inferno, was on my list of horror movies to watch way back when I heard rumors that it had been investigated for actual cannibalism while it was filming. I have no idea if these rumors are true, but hearing a movie was thought to have actual death in it intrigued me. Okay, maybe I’m super creepy, but that seemed like a ringing endorsement to me. Watching The Bird Men

The Bird Men, not to be confused with Birdman (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), is a fun, and surprisingly short, movie that will be out on dvd today. I was shocked to learn that the movie I watched was originally released in 2014 under the title The Birder.
