Week In Review 1/28-2/1/19 on #GeneralHospital via @stacyamiller85 @GeneralHospital #GH #GH55

A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) walked into Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) hospital room while she was sleep and got a pillow, which he used as he prepared to smother her. At the PCPD, Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Briana Henry) reviewed the evidence on the murder board and discussed the serial killer murders while pondering what they could be missing. Sam (Kelly Monaco) apologized to Jason (Steve Burton) for worrying something would happen to him and he wouldn’t come back. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) arrived and was thrilled that Samantha and Stone Cold were back together. After Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) talked with Shiloh, she called Sam and asked her sister to come over to the house. Jason told Spinelli that Lulu was attacked. Laura (Genie Francis) and Lulu’s doctor’s arrival prevented Ryan from finishing off Lulu. After they left Lulu’s hospital room, Ryan suggested that he could talk with Lulu as with everything she’s been going through she may need someone to talk with. But Laura told “Kevin” that Jordan would be there shortly to question Lulu. When Sam arrived at the house, Shiloh told her that he investigated her claim that it wasn’t a coincidence that she was getting emails from someone who knew about her past. Daisy (Kelsy Wang) confessed to being the one that sent the emails after learning about Sam’s history with Shiloh and discovering her alias. She explained she was trying to get Sam to be more receptive to Dawn of Day. Kristina was angry and viewed what Daisy did as a betrayal. After Sam left, Kristina told Shiloh that she blamed him for Daisy getting the idea to look into Sam’s past. Anna (Finola Hughes), Finn (Michael Easton) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) waited in “Kevin’s” hospital room to question him about his connection to Arthur Cabot and whether he ever worked for the DVX. When “Kevin” returned, he got annoyed with Anna’s questions and as “Kevin’s” doctor, Finn cut down the interrogation. Jordan questioned Lulu, who remembered she was attacked.  However, Lulu couldn’t recall he arrived at her office door and vowed she would for Kiki (Hayley Erin) and the others who’d been murdered. Sam returned to the penthouse. Jason told her that Spinelli left to visit Lulu. Sam announced she couldn’t do this…they had to break up.

Lulu struggled to remember the events leading up to her attack. Seeing Ava (Maura West) and “Kevin” standing at the door, Lulu (Emme Rylan) remembered Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) coming to her office. But Laura (Genie Francis) told Lulu that she must be remembering “Kevin” being in her hospital room. Jordan asked Ava and “Kevin” to leave so she could speak with Lulu alone. Lulu got agitated because she couldn’t remember. Carly (Laura Wright) told Griffin (Matt Cohen) about the episode with Mike (Max Gail) when he hit Sonny. Dr. Munro explained that Mike lashing out gives him control. Stella (Vernee Watson) cornered Curtis (Donnell Turner) at General Hospital and confronted him about her nephew talking with Marcus about her. She reminded that she was a grown woman and can speak for herself. Stella told Curtis now Marcus was asking to see her at The Metro Court. Sam (Kelly Monaco) told Jason they had to break up. Explaining further, she told him about what happened at Dawn of Day when Daisy (Kelsey Wang) said she was the one who sent the emails.  Sam believed that Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) convinced Daisy to take the blame and the girl was so into Shiloh and his cause that she convinced herself of her guilt. So in order to make Shiloh believe that Sam too had been taken in by him, Ms. McCall had to be a single lady to pique his interest. Sam worried about her sister and vowed she wouldn’t let Shiloh use Kristina and would stop him first. Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) assured Shiloh she didn’t blame him for what Daisy did. Shiloh said that he saw potential in Kristina and felt that she could help reach others.  As he’d encourage Daisy to take a break, he felt Kristina would make an excellent recruiter. At The Metro Court, Stella and Marcus talk about his conversation with Curtis. Marcus apologizes to Stella for how he reacted over the whole Mike/Yvonne situation. Stella commented she realized how difficult it was losing someone you loved. Their conversation shifted to Stella ending their relationship. Ms. Henry explained how she didn’t want him to give up the great job offer he had after working hard to put himself through college. Realizing how much his dad was slipping away, Sonny made the painful decision of having Mike permanently live at Turning Woods. Mike thought he was moving in with Yvonne so he had no problem with leaving. The goodbye was hard on Sonny, who struggled to fight back his tears. As she still insisted she couldn’t leave town without Avery, Ryan tried to convince Ava to go away with him on a short vacation just to get out of Port Charles for awhile. Laura told Curtis and Jordan that although she requested round the clock police protection for her daughter, she wanted Curtis to be Lulu’s bodyguard. Later, “Kevin” told Laura that he would do anything he could to help Lulu get through the trauma of being attacked.
Drew (Billy Miller) had a drink at The Metro Court with Kim (Tamara Braun). Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) had date night. Julian (William deVry) accused Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) of showing up at Charlie’s Pub for the chance to catch a glimpse of Wiley. Willow smiled when Michael entered with the baby. Robert (Tristan Rogers) questioned Anna (Finola Hughes) whether she was telling the truth when she said she didn’t know Dr. Arthur Cabot. Michael told Willow he was babysitting his godson while Wiley’s parents were on date night. Willow offered her sympathies to Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) over Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) attack. When his takeout order was delayed due to backup in the kitchen, Michael asked Willow to join he and Wiley while they waited. Julian said that wasn’t a good idea but covered that it was because Lucas didn’t want him anywhere near Wiley. Anna insisted she never met Dr. Cabot, but Robert had photographic proof. Looking at the picture, Anna realized the woman in the photo was her identical twin sister Alex Marick (also Hughes). Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) arrived at Ferncliff because he’d been called about his patient “Wilson Ritter” (Kevin, also Lindstrom). Ryan learned Kevin was afflicted with the same virus he recently overcome and was blind. Ryan promised Kevin a treatment if his brother told him everything he knew about Dr. Cabot. Kevin told Ryan that Dr. Cabot was doing medical research on identical twins and wanted to know about Ryan. Anna wondered whether Alex’s meeting with Dr. Cabot had something to do with them (she and Alex) being identical twins since Cabot was also interested in Ryan and Kevin. Ryan decided not to help Kevin regain his sight. The psychopath told his twin of his attack on Lulu and how the trauma left her unable to remember. Ryan commented how he was running away with Ava (Maura West) but didn’t need any of divorce settlement from Laura (Genie Francis).  A cover Kevin tricked Ryan into believing their was a prenup; knowing that if his greedy twin went after it would slip him up. Learning from Oscar (Garren Stitt) how Kim was spending more time with Drew, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) thanked Julian for packing off Kim so she could focus on Oscar. Drew told Kim about Julian’s sister Olivia Jerome and how he was able to save his daughter’s life when Sam (Kelly Monaco) delivered her in less than ideal conditions. Ryan received a text from Anna and admitted he knew Dr. Cabot when he came over to her house to answer questions. Brad and Lucas couldn’t stop thinking about Wiley while on their date. Brad went to pick Wiley up alone because he didn’t want Lucas to know their son was with Julian at Charlie’s Pub. Brad met Willow and commented how he wanted to talk with her sometime about when they (he and Lucas) should start thinking about pre-schools for Wiley. Julian told Brad that Willow thought she was Wiley’s birth mother.
Kim (Tamara Braun) was surprised when she brought Drew (Billy Miller) back to her apartment and found the filthy place cleaned. Then she remembered the cleaning service gift Julian (William deVry) gave her. At General Hospital, Julian urged Brad (Parry Shen) to stay away from Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) before the birth mother changed her mind and wanted Wiley back. Franco (Roger Hogwarth) brought books for Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) to read for parents of potential LGBTQ children. Alexis (Nancy Grahn) arrived at Dawn of Day to get a glimpse of the workings of the house. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) called Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) reminding him she was short on funds and unless he did something about that she’d be forced to tell Nina (Michelle Stafford) that Sasha wasn’t her daughter. Looking towards Peter (Wes Ramsey), Valentin assure Liesl he was working on it. Then, Nina, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Liesl drank a toast to Nathan (Ryan Paevey) as they celebrated his life on the year anniversary of his passing. Kim told Drew about Julian sleeping with some random woman when he saw them (she and Drew) kissing on New Year’s Eve. Kim was surprised Julian hadn’t canceled the cleaning service and the other gifts he provided.  Ava (Maura West) questioned Lucas (Parry Shen) abut whether Lulu (Emme Ryan) was able to remember anything more about her attacker. Later, Julian encouraged his sister not to focus on finding Lulu’s attacker before the police (he believed she wanted to find out first to make the person pay). And Ava told her brother he was being an ass for lying to Kim and keeping his distance. Later, Julian came to Kim’s and admitted he lied. Chase (Josh Swickard) and Jordan (Briana Henry) continued to review the facts of the serial killer case. Jordan called Franco and asked him to come to the PCPD to answer some questions. When Baldwin arrived, Jordan asked him about his connection to Peyton Mills and told him the only thing all the victims had in common was him. Liesl noticed Maxie’s wedding ring wasn’t on her finger and assumed her daughter-in-law lost it until Maxie revealed she felt it was time to remove it.  Brad and Lucas found Elizabeth reading a book for the parents of LGBTQ children. Liz explained about Aiden and Brad asked about the little boy’s preference for traditional girl things. Lucas added that he didn’t know he liked boys until his teens. At Dawn of Day, Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) requested a volunteer to start session regarding what they wanted from a relationship. Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) wanted respect while Alexis wanted love and passion. Peter was suspicious Liesl had something on Valentin would jeopardize Cassadine’s family when Valentin wanted Peter to hire Liesl to write a column. Maxie thought Crimson’s far reaching audience would be perfect for Liesl’s medical platform.  Spotting Peter entering The Metro Court dining room, Maxie called August over to her and Liesl’s table. Chase and Jordan considered Franco as a possible suspect.
At The Metro Court, Sonny (Maurice Benard) met with Brick(Stephen A.  Smith) and thanked the head of his IT and security for the enhancements he made to the Corinthos house so Mike (Max Gail) could continue living there. Ava (Maura West) arrived and approached Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) as she heard that Mrs. Quartermaine possessed the power of visions. Ms. Jerome hoped Olivia could help find the person who killed Kiki (Hayley Erin) and attack Lulu (Emme Rylan). Carly (Laura Wright) came to see Kim (Tamara Braun) and commented on the scarf Dr. Nero knitted.  Their conversation turned to Drew (Billy Miller) and Carly encouraged a romantic relationship between Kim and Drew. At Charlie’s Pub, Drew confronted Julian (William deVry) for cheating on Kim by sleeping with a random stranger (Drew didn’t know that Julian lied). Lulu had a nightmare about her attacker coming to her office door but being unable to see his face. Laura (Genie Francis) and Jordan (Briana Henry) rushed to Lulu’s hospital room. Jordan assured Lulu her attacker wouldn’t get to her again as Curtis (Donnell Turner) was hired as Lulu’s bodyguard. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) came to “Kevin’s” office to talk about resuming her sessions with him. While she was there, Ryan told Alexis he’d misplaced his copy of the prenup and needed her to get a copy from Laura. Then, he said he couldn’t resume sessions with her as that would be a conflict of interest as she was his soon-to-be ex-wife’s attorney.  But “Kevin” would provide a referral. Ava gave Olivia a childhood photo of Kiki and her daughter’s favorite sunflower necklace in the hopes that the items would give Olivia a vision.  When it didn’t work, Ava accused Olivia of not trying hard enough. Their raised voices caused Sonny to come over to see what was going on.  After Ava left, Olivia expressed her worry that no one has been able to get in touch with Dante as she felt he should be there for Lulu. Sonny asked Brick to help locate Dante. Carly ran into Drew and expressed how great it’d be if he and Kim got back together. Drew thought her feelings had a lot to do with Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton). Julian came to see Kim again and apologized for lying to her. They decided to give their relationship another shot. Lulu got upset when Ava came to her hospital room and tried to pressure her to remember her attacker. Laura asked Curtis to escort Ava out of the room and banned her from returning. Jordan asked “Kevin” for his patient session records for Franco indicating that the police were now considering him as a suspect.  When Brick contacts couldn’t locate Dante, Sonny had an idea who could. Jordan suggested hypnotherapy to help Lulu remember. Franco came to see “Kevin.” Because Police Commissioner Ashford told Ryan that Franco was a possible suspect, it gave the serial killer an idea and Ryan said he would treat Baldwin again.
