At The Metro Court, Laura (Genie Francis) remembered when she married Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and vowed she’d love him forever. Carly (Laura Wright) appeared and told Laura she knew how she felt because she’d been there herself. Carly assured Laura that Kevin deciding to end their marriage wasn’t Laura’s fault. Meanwhile, Ryan (also Lindstrom) visited Kevin in Ferncliff and taunted “I’m totally pulling this off!” Ryan told his twin how he was divorcing Laura but still needed Kevin to fill in information on Dr. Collins’ life that he didn’t know. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) talked about losing their sons. Michael showed Willow a footprint of godson Wiley. Ryan dropped bombshell that he’d already killed two people. Nelle (Chloe Lanier) received a surprise visit from Liesl (Kathleen Gati), which Obrecht said was long overdue. Anna (Finola Hughes) and Griffin (Matt Cohen) arrived at Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) apartment to pack up her things but found Ava (Maura West) already there doing so. Griffin wanted to have something of Kiki’s, but Ava sarcastically reminded how he had spent Kiki’s last days with her. Ava pulled out mementos of Kiki’s childhood and commented how her daughter kept everything. Ava cried that she didn’t just bury one daughter but all those little girls growing up. Anna asked whether there was anyone she could call for Ava when Ryan arrived and announced he was there for her (Ava). Liesl told Nelle she was cleared before being sent to Pentonville then asked Nelle what happened to that beautiful little boy she (Liesl) helped to deliver. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) brought Oscar (Garren Stitt) a Christmas present: a five year planner. She completed the first year and told Oscar she left the rest for him to fill out. Kim (Tamara Braun) and Drew (Billy Miller) talked about the clinical trial nearing its end. Kim hoped the results would be positive. Josslyn told Julian (William deVry) to step aside so Kim and Drew could be together. When Liesl threatened to tell Michael his baby wasn’t dead, Nelle admitted to giving her baby to Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes). Ryan told Carly patient was dangerous. Ava demanded action when she overheard Ned (Wally Kurth) and Laura saying a serial killer murdered Kiki.
Thursday
Sonny (Maurice Benard) met with Jason (Steve Burton) at The Metro Court. Sonny wanted Carly (Laura Wright) to know how special she was to him and didn’t want her to feel left out because of all the time he’s been spending on Mike (Max Gail). Jason told Sonny that Mike wasn’t the problem…the D.A. was. When Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) entered she admitted to having the flash drive and only recently gave it to Drew. Although he’s not a fan of Julian Jerome’s (William deVry), Drew commented how he was good for Kim. Anna (Finola Hughes) was happy to welcome her granddaughter Emma (Broolyn Rae Silzer) home. Emma told Griffin (Matt Cohen) how sorry she was Kiki (Hayley Erin) died and thought he shouldn’t spend New Year’s Eve alone. Finn again mentioned to Griffin how he (Finn) knew what Dr. Munro was going through with dealing with Kiki’s murder. At The Floating Rib, Laura (Genie Francis) expressed her fear to Felicia (Kristina Wagner) that Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) could be having a breakdown. Peyton, the man doing the documentary on The Ryan Chamberlain Murders, came to Dr. Collins’ office and told “Kevin” he had a rough cut. Angered seeing and hearing Felicia’s interview in which she talked about how crazed he was, Ryan broke a pencil in half. He quickly covered by saying his bond with his twin couldn’t be broken even in death. While shooting pool at The Floating Rib, Jason was mistaken for Drew by a man named Hank. He was surprised Drew was a twin and told Jason he knew Drew when Cain was with The Navy Seals. Hank asked too many questions about Drew arousing Jason’s suspicions. Hank asked for Drew’s phone number, but Jason suggested Hank give him his contact information instead. Griffin read Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) article about the possibility Kiki and Mary Pat’s murders were committed by the same person. Emma gave Anna and Finn (Michael Easton) key chains and hinted at the possibility of Finn moving back in with Anna. They briefly discussed it until he left abruptly. Emma commented how she’d hope that the key chains would lean Finn towards moving back in with her Anna. Finn returned with bearded dragon Roxie and his bags and asked Anna whether she wanted him to move back in. She answered yes. Jason came to see Drew and told him about meeting Hank and his suspicions that the man was asking too many questions about Cain. Margaux told Sonny that they would never be even. Griffin and Laura talked about the idea that one person was responsible for the murders. Griffin wanted to discuss this with Kevin. Meanwhile, Peyton shared the end of his documentary with Kevin. His theory was perhaps Ryan Chamberlain didn’t die as no DNA evidence was ever found. After learning that Peyton hadn’t told anyone else about the ending for his documentary, Ryan closed the door and told Peyton that he had some notes. Is Peyton about to become victim number three?
Friday
There was a New Year’s charity event at The Metro Court to raise money for pediatric cancer. Michael (Chad Duell) escorted his sister Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) but watched as Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) entered off the elevator with Chase (Josh Swickward). Julian (William DeVry) came to Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) hospital room at General Hospital to wish Kim (Tamara Braun) happy New Year. Julian wanted to ring in 2019 with Kim but she didn’t want him to miss the event at The Metro Court as it was for a good cause. After Julian left, Drew (Billy Miller) entered and told Kim about his visit from Jason (Steve Burton) who ran into someone from his past. Cain said Jason gave him the man’s number so it was now up to him to decide whether he wanted to call. Jason came to pick up Sam (Kelly Monaco) and they shared a kiss. He told her about the guy he met at The Floating Rib looking for Drew. Ava continued to go through her daughter’s memory box and found resolutions that Kiki made in 2001. Jason added that something about the guy Hank didn’t sit right. Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Briana Henry) spent New Year’s Eve in bed. But Jordan reminded her husband that as the police commissioner she couldn’t be late for the charity benefit. Wearing gloves, Ryan wiped his fingerprints off documentary producer Peyton Mill’s cell phone then checked the man’s messages. He found one from Curtis about a meeting tomorrow morning. Jason made a large donation as pediatric cancer had a close personal meaning for him. Because of Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) article about the possible serial killer link to Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Mary Pat’s (Patricia Bethune) murders, Mayor Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) demanded Lulu’s privileges at the PCPD be revoked. Lulu told Willow she knew Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) was Aiden Webber’s (Jason David) bully and already had the little girl apologize to her cousin. Kim told Drew that Oscar was conceived on a New Year’s Eve before he was deployed. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) came to Ava’s (Maura West). Ms. Jerome shared her resolutions: To drink less and to not let herself get too close to people because she always ends up hurting them. Ryan told Ava that anyone who tried to hurt her would have to answer to him. Ava commented how having him in her life almost made her forget all she’s loss. Julian came back to General Hospital before midnight to ring in the New Year with Kim but found her kissing Drew. Willow told Chase she had a feeling 2019 would be the best year yet. Michael watched as Chase and Willow rang in the new year with a kiss. Curtis came to Peyton’s office and found it splattered with blood. He called Jordan and told her that she had to get there because there’s been another murder. Sam and Jason went out on the terrance of The Metro Court where Morgan found Peyton Mills’ body buried in the snow.
