A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.
At Crimson, Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) welcomed Jax (Ingo Rademacher) back to Port Charles. And Jax congratulated Bobbie on becoming a grandmother again. Nina (Michelle Stafford) found Ava (Maura West) at Charlie’s Pub. Ms. Reeves told Ms. Jerome she wanted to put her on the cover of the September issue of Crimson. She wanted to do an article about Ava’s career as well as Ava tell her story about Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Nina told Ava she sympathized what happened to her with losing Kiki (Hayley Erin). She told Ava the article would not only help her reclaim her life but would allow her to help other people. Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) came to the Corinthos’ kitchen to bring her father a present: fresh herbs. She also thanked her family for supporting her when she was lost and believing Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). At GH, Shiloh got a hospital worker named Janine to research getting his child’s birth certificate. Jason came to General Hospital to make sure Shiloh was arrested. Chase confirmed Archer was then thanked Morgan for not taking the law into his own hands. Carly (Laura Wright) arrived at Charlie’s Pub and asked Lucas (Ryan Carnes) why he came to Julian (William DeVry) with the situation about Wiley instead of she and Sonny. Julian appeared and reminded Carly he’s Sonny’s father. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) met with her attorney and told Diane (Carolyn Hennesey) about the adoption records in Albany being replaced asking Ms. Miller to “lose” her file copy. Diane refused to tamper with legal documents assuring Ms. Tait her rights were protected from Shiloh ever getting his hands on the court records. Harmony took the blame for drugging Sam and Kristina and was arrested. Chase came to the Corinthos’ house and told Jason and Sonny would happened, again urging against taking the law into their own hands. Shiloh strolled into Charlie’s Pub asking Kristina for one of her lattes. Julian tried to throw Archer out. Shiloh announced he was released as the guilty person confessed; he wasn’t guilty of any wrong doing.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) urged Jason (Steve Burton) to think before eliminating Shiloh (Cony Ryan Michael) reminding being sent to prison wouldn’t help Sam (Kelly Monaco) or his kids. Jason called Sam to warned her Shiloh was released. But Sam knew as she walked into Charlie’s Pub and saw Archer sitting at a table. Jason told Sam he’d be right there. Shiloh offered his apology to Sam for Harmony drugging her. But Ms. McCall said she knew Harmony was taking the blame like Daisy (Kelsey Wang) did with the emails. Sam told Shiloh she ran the con on him. Archer grabbed her arm just in time for Jason to see. Morgan warned one more move against Sam could be Shiloh’s last. Chase (Josh Swickard) came to Willow’s classroom and told her the charges were dropped because her mother confessed. Willow told Chase about her mother’s obsession with Shiloh and DOD and how she was one of the first members of The Trust. Harmony sleeping with Shiloh was the end of their marriage and destroyed Willow’s father who later died. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) had therapy with Dr. Byrnes, who reminded her not to cross doctor patient lines by asking about his personal life. Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) came to see her dad and thanked Sonny for helping her see the truth about Shiloh. She asked him not to get rid of Shiloh and to also start letting her stand on her own two feet from now on by not handing her things like a job or car. At Crimson, Maxie again talked with Peter (Wes Ramsey) about finding and reuniting Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan). Maxie added that it was important to tell the people you cared about how you felt about them. Then, they shared a kiss. Sonny called Jason and told him they had to delay “that project” (killing Shiloh). Chase offered to hold onto Willow’s baby ID bracelet for her until Shiloh was no longer a threat to she or her child. Shiloh got a woman named Shauna at Mercy Hospital to verify that Willow Tait (who he lied was his sister) was admitted July, 2018 and gave birth to a baby boy. At Charlie’s Pub, Jason talked about how Shiloh almost raping her reminded him of how helpless he felt all those years ago when Franco tried to do the same. He said that if Sam ever had nightmares or couldn’t sleep because of what happened with Shiloh she could always wake him up.
Jax (Ingo Rademacher) brought Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to the Crimson office. In Tanzania, Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim (Tamara Braun) returned from spreading Oscar’s ashes on Mount Kilimanjaro. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) helped Jordan (Briana Henry) to her feet, explaining to Curtis (Donnell Turner) the importance of walking the day after surgery. Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) was shocked when he woke at Ferncliff’s prison infirmary as he didn’t remember being transferred from General Hospital. “Welcome Home, Ryan” Finn (Michael Easton) said. Ryan complained of pain. Finn told Chamberlain the pain was coming from when he had surgery to remove a kidney. Ryan was shocked as he’d never agree to donating his kidney. He said it had to be Kevin (also Lindstrom). At Crimson, Nina (Michelle Stafford) was eager to get started with the cover photo shoot and article. But Ava (Maura West) reminded Nina and Maxie (Kristen Storms) she hadn’t actually signed the contract giving Crimson the rights to her story. Jax entered and Ava suggested they sit down and go over the contract, starting with Page 1, Line 1. Jax told Maxie that Josslyn was waiting in the receptionist area and asked Ms. Jones to show his daughter around Crimson. Then, he accused Ava of being a hypocrite when she said she wanted to have her voice to tell her story about Ryan. After all, Connie Falconieri would never have a voice again because Ava killed her. Reminding that you should never criticize someone until after you’ve gotten what you wanted, Ava walked out of the Crimson office without signing the contract. Nina accuse Jax of wanting her to fail; he wanted to cut Crimson’s budget and had no intention of giving her the chance to increase circulation. Curtis, Stella and Jordan learned Ryan was saying he had no memory of donating his kidney. Jordan wondered if Chamberlain was faking memory loss as part of an insanity defense. After fainting, a feverish Kim mistaken Drew for Oscar and apologized to “her son” for not giving him a younger sister or brother. Josslyn texted “I Miss You” to Oscar’s cellphone and was surprised when she received a reply back. When Maxie appeared, she told Ms. Jones about the text. But then she learned Drew found Oscar’s phone in Kim’s purse and was the one who sent the text. Josslyn told Maxie how she felt Oscar’s presence when she sang at the Nurses Ball and wanted to feel it again. Maxie knew of a way, telling Josslyn it was something Lucy (Lynn Herring) was into. It was a seance. Jordan was suspicious about why Ryan Chamberlain would agree to donate his kidney. She contacted the warden at Pentonville and made arrangements to visit Ryan when she was up to it. Then, Jordan shared her theory with her husband: It was Kevin, not Ryan who sign the consent. Someone injected Ryan (Finn) causing his reaction. Then, Ryan switched places with his twin. Finn, Kevin, Franco (Roger Howarth), and Valerie were all in on the plan. But there was a mastermind who came up with the idea and organized everyone in the GH meeting room. Curtis asked his wife whether she would try to prove her theory. But Jordan said the person who came up with the plan was someone who was smart enough to cover their tracks without leaving evidence behind. It was obvious that Jordan suspected Curtis. Meanwhile in the prison infirmary, Ryan saw a familiar face. “Don’t I know you?” he asked the person who entered.
At The Metro Court, Jax (Ingo Rademacher) told Carly (Laura Wright) he was putting Ava Jerome (Maura West) on the cover of Crimson to which Carly replied “Are you crazy?” Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) visited Harmony (Inga Candranel) at the PCPD interrogation room and told her he had news to share with her; he had a son. Harmony wanted Shiloh to get her a real lawyer and not a public defender and get her out of there. But Shiloh told Harmony she needed to get her priorities in order with finding his son the priority. Shiloh told Harmony that he got a lawyer and would get his son but he needed money from DOD’s emergency fund. Harmony agreed to help as long as once they got custody of Willow’s son they raised the baby together. Shiloh agreed, assuring Harmony that as his son was her Outside the Bereavement Group at General Hospital, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) ran into Michael (Chad Duell) and told him how she didn’t know if she should go back since her baby wasn’t dead. Nelle (Chloe Lanier) welcomed Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) to Pentonville and they talked about the shared person they had in common: Carly. Nelle explained that she was pregnant with Carly’s grandson when Carly pushed her down the stairs, then Michael set her up. Ryan recalled listening to Carly’s sessions with his brother when Mrs. Corinthos was remanded to Ferncliff. Although boring, they did help him to learn how to pose as a psychiatrist. Nelle told Ryan about working for Ava Jerome until Ava turned on her. Then they both revealed they had a kidney stolen. Sonny (Maurice Benard) came across Brad (Parry Shen) and Julian (William deVry) discussing the Shiloh/Wiley situation. Sonny told Brad he needed to let him (Sonny) help him and not Julian. But Julian wanted in if Corinthos planned to eliminate Archer, Julian said he wanted it. Lulu (Emme Rylan) had a date with a guy she met on the dating app for her story. Seeing what a nice guy Clark was, Ms. Falconieri came clean about being a reporter and not really wanting a date. She had to explain about the story to Sonny when he saw his daughter-in-law’s date exiting Kelly’s. After explaining about Crimson cover and story on Ava, Jax and Carly came up with a plan to trick Ava into agreeing to do the cover. Michael had just convince Willow there was no way Shiloh could discover the truth about her son when a processor server arrived at GH with papers for Ms. Tait to appear in family court. Shiloh appeared and smirked at Willow and Michael.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton) discussed the unraveling of Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and DOD. Jason added that Shiloh will try to hold onto the one thing he things he can get: his child. Shiloh smirked as he faced Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) after Ms. Tait was served. Once he left, Willow called Diane at her office but couldn’t get through. Michael handed her his cellphone…he called Diane’s personal line. Diane told Willow she’d have to go to court. Jordan (Briana Henry) worried about her mounting medical bills. Jordan commented how even though her job as police commissioner offered good medical coverage, it wouldn’t be enough to pay the mounting medical bills. She blamed herself for the financial situation they were in. But Curtis assured it would be okay. At Kelly’s, Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) confronted Shiloh about Harmony (Inga Candranel) taking the fall for his crime. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) approached Lucy (Lynn Herring) outside Kelly’s. She told Ms. Coe how Oscar (Garren Stitt) appeared to her as she sang at the Nurses Ball. She asked for Lucy’s help in contacting someone who’s passed on. But Lucy reminded that Oscar probably wanted Joss to move on with her life. But after Ms. Coe left, Josslyn continued to search the internet about seances. Margaux interrupted Sam, Carly and Jason’s conversation and asked to speak with Mr. Morgan alone. She told Jason how there was another member of The Trust like Harmony that took the blame when a man Shiloh had words with ended up dead of an overdose. Margaux was sure that Jason could undercover the truth better than the police. Carly told Sam her fear that something was wrong with her baby. Ms. McCall urged Carly to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard). Willow came to the PCPD to visit her mother. As Harmony pleaded guilty, the prison van was on its way to take her to Pentonville. Willow reminded her mother that it wasn’t too late to recant her plea and tell the truth. But Harmony only offered a goodbye to her daughter. Michael called Lucy to find out whether she had taken care of that purchase they discussed. Then, Michael entered Kelly’s Diner where he announced to Shiloh he (Michael) had purchased the house Archer was renting and planned on donating it. Shiloh didn’t let Michael’s words get to him when he received a notice on his phone that the $50,000 he was waiting for was now available for use. He told Michael to tell Willow he’d see her in court. At Pentonville, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was surprised by a visit from Brad (Parry Shen). Cooper told Ms. Benson how he was in danger of losing everything because the woman who believed she was Wiley’s birth mother was in his life and the man who thought was Wiley’s birth father was looking for his child. Nelle assured Brad he had nothing to worry about because she’s do anything to make sure Carly didn’t get her hands on Wiley. But Ms. Benson made it clear that if she was granted an early parole, she may settle again in Port Charles and wanted to be part of her son’s life. The, Brad left. Later, Nelle was introduced to her new roommate: Harmony. Now that Harmony is in Pentonville with Nelle, will the truth come out about Wiley’s true parentage?
