A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) approached Jax (Ingo Rademacher) at The Metro Court. Cassadine said he had a proposal for Jasper Jax. Valentin wanted to buy his Crimson from Jax to keep the Aussie away from Nina (Cynthia Watros). Jax said he understood what Valentin was saying, but has no intention of selling to him. Curtis (Donnell Turner) was looking at Jordan’s (Briana Henry) medical bills when Nina appeared. He expressed concern over the mounting hospital costs. Nina reminded she was the best person at his and Jordan’s wedding and vowed to support them in their marriage. At Kelly’s Diner, Maxie (Kristen Storms) discussed Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) surprise birthday party at The Floating Rib. Laura (Genie Francis) interrupted. After Ms. Jones walked away, Laura asked Mac to serve as Interim Police Commissioner while Jordan recuperated. Maxie was surprised to see Peter eating pie and asked him whether he liked cake. Once Maxie left (to help with the surprise birthday party), Peter came to Mac’s table and asked Scorpio to put a stop to the surprise party Maxie was planning for him (Peter). Mac reminded August how important the party was to Maxie and told Peter that even if he didn’t want it, to do it for Maxie because she cared about him (Peter). Finn (Michael Easton) appeared to lure August to his surprise birthday party. After amusingly watching Finn trying to come up with an excuse for them to spend time together, Peter admitted he knew about the party but feigned surprised when he arrived at The Floating Rib and thanked Maxie for the party. Kim (Tamara Braun) and Drew (Billy Miller) returned from Tanzania. Drew left, but Julian (William deVry) arrived to be there for Kim. Drew came to visit Jordan and asked Curtis to work for him at Aurora. Curter later received a phone call from Valentin who wanted Curtis to get him everything he could on Jax. Inviting Cameron (Will Lipton) and Trini, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) held seance for Oscar (Garren Stitt). There appeared to be a presence.
Josslyn (Eden McCoy) thought she heard footsteps outside the Corinthos house and called Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) name. Kim (Tamara Braun) told Julian (William deVry) she wanted to have a baby with him to experience life again from the start. Plus, he’d have the chance to do the things he never got to with his other children. Julian commented having another child could be the best thing to happen for him. But he knew that Kim’s head wasn’t in the right place to get pregnant as she was still mourning Oscar. Julian told Kim he didn’t want to have a baby with her right now, but they could revisit the subject later. Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) came to General Hospital to visit Jordan. She ran into Drew (Billy Miller). After asking how he was doing with his son’s passing, Margaux apologized for how she treated him when she stole the flash drive. Then, she asked about Drew’s connection to Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and whether Archer asked about the flash drive. She wondered why Shiloh was interested in Drew’s memories. When Lulu (Emme Ryan) made a comment about being late for her date, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) asked whether she’s dating again. Lulu explained it was for a story about a man targeting single women he meets on a dating app to rob them. Mac (John J. York) announced he’s acting Police Commissioner and questioned Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) logic for allowing Lulu to use herself as bait to lure a criminal. Peter reminded the editor was the one who signed off on the assignment. Maxie (Kristen Storms) said Lulu would have never taken the assignment if Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was there; Dante needed to come home. Carly (Laura Wright) saw the photo of Oscar and candles. Josslyn explained about the seance she had with Trini and Cameron (Will Lipton) and her hope of making contact with Oscar. She said how she was trying to do what Oscar told her to by thinking of him at 11:11 but she missed him so much and never got the chance to say goodbye because she was asleep when he passed. Carly reminded Joss that Oscar knew how much she cared for him every time Josslyn held his hand. But Carly felt maybe it was time Joss have grief therapy to help her. Lulu met a man at Kelly’s who she thought was her date. Meanwhile, someone was breaking into her home. And Josslyn offered to go to Lulu and Dante’s to pick up Rocco’s baseball glove. Robert (Tristan Rogers) showed up at The Floating Rib and announced the WSB was forcing him to retire. Maxie asked for his help finding Dante. But Scorpio said he couldn’t reveal Dante’s location. Carly told Sonny (Maurice Benard) about her latest test results and fear their baby could have a birth defect. Maxie overheard Robert on the phone talking about Dante. She then told Peter they could find Dante. When Josslyn arrived at Lulu and Dante’s house, she found someone there.
As they walked the halls of GH, Laura (Genie Francis) said she was glad Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) told her the truth about what they (he, Finn, Franco, Elizabeth and Valerie) did to steal Ryan’s (also Lindstrom) kidney. She said if the truth ended her political career as mayor, it was a great way to go down. Kevin wondered why Finn wanted to see team. When Finn appeared, he was surprised Kevin told Laura the truth about what they did. But seeing them had nothing to do with Ryan or Chamberlain’s kidney, it was about Kevin’s future at GH. Lulu (Emme Rylan) realized the man she met at Kelly’s wasn’t her date and her house my be being robbed now. Meanwhile, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) caught a young man in Lulu and Dante’s house and said she was calling 911, adding he’s better hope the police got there before her stepfather. The young man was Dev (Ashton Arbab), the teenage who helped Sonny (Maurice Benard) when he was looking for Dante in Turkey. Dev insisted he was robbing the place and ran out before the police arrived. Chase (Josh Swickward) gave Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) a key to his apartment and continued to assure Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) would never get his hands on Wiley. But when Willow met with Diane (Carolyn Hennesey) later at Kelly’s, Ms. Tait was nervous to learn Shiloh’s attorney was someone with a killer reputation for winning. Is Nora Buchanan (Hilary Bailey Smith) representing Archer? Carly (Laura Wright) wasn’t happy about the bean sprout and avocado sandwich Michael (Chad Duell) brought for her; she wanted a cheeseburger. She loved her son but wasn’t too happy with him at the moment. Jason (Steve Burton) arrived and told them about his talk with Margaux Dawson before she left town. A man named Dennis Miller was murdered and one of Shiloh’s father had taken the blame. It seems Miller was Harmony’s (Inga Candranel) husband. Chase called Lulu and Josslyn to the OCOD because they caught a suspect based on Joss’ description. At the PCPD, Dev insisted he was robbing and that he was a friend of Sonny Corinthos. Dev was scared about being taken to the interrogation room as he believed he would be tortured. So, Josslyn called Sonny and asked him to come to the PCPD. On behalf of Monica (Leslie Charleson), Finn told Kevin them despite some members reservations due to his role in “Ryan’s reign of terror,” the board decided to reinstate him. Kevin told Laura he was glad to have his job back and to not have to break the lease on the office he was planning to rent. Michael told Willow about Dennis Miller’s murder and as he was Harmony’s husband realized Miller was Willow’s father. But Willow revealed that she was the one who killed her father. Sonny arrived at the PCPD. He saw Dev in the interrogation room through the glass and thought about meeting the teen when he was in Istanbul looking for Dante.
At Kelly’s Diner, Diane (Carolyn Hennesey) noticed a closest between Alexis (Nancy Grahan) and Dr. Neil Burns and questioned her friend about whether there was a non-patient relationship between the two. Alexis insisted Neil was just her therapist. Diane suggested Alexis get a different doctor than Kristina, thinking it unwise Dr. Burns is treating both mother and daughter. Franco (Roger Howath) asked Drew (Billy Miller) how he was doing then told Cain he and Elizabeth were going to have a real wedding on July 8th. Drew said he’d be there. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) came to Kim’s (Tamara Braun) to see how Dr. Nero was doing. Kim told Liz how she (Kim) asked Julian (William deVry) to have a baby with her; she knows a new child can’t replace Oscar (Garren Stitt) but needs to fill the hole in her heart her son’s passing left. At the PCPD, Sonny (Maurice Benard) reminded Dev (Ashton Arbab) they met when the teen was trying to steal his wallet…how does her know Dev wasn’t robbing Lulu and Dante’s house? Dev explained how he stole money from Raj’s house and got a fake passport identifying him as Greek. But if it’s discovered the passport is fake, he’ll be deported and more than likely killed once he set food on Turkey soil. Sonny left the interrogation and pulled Lulu (Emme Rylan) aside Neil came to Dr. Collins’ office and the two colleagues caught up. Neil shared with Kevin his non professional interest in one of his patient’s (Alexis) well being. Kevin reminded that Neil needed to not cross the professional lines with this patient. Or unburden himself of what’s going on in his own life. Diane searched Dr. Burns online and found a death notice about the death of Neil’s daughter from an overdose. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) explained to Michael (Chad Duell) how she didn’t actually kill her father but was directly responsible for his death. Dennis Miller started to have his doubts about DOD and didn’t want his daughter to remain a part of the “family.” Miller was thrown out of the DOD house and was staying at a hotel. He called Willow to ask her to come over. But it was the night Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) decided to have her initiation. So, she told her father she’d meet him the next day for breakfast. But when she was let into his hotel room, Willow found her father dead from a drug overdose. Willow cried that she chose DOD over her father. Jason (Steve Burton) told Carly (Laura Wright) he would go to Beecher’s Corner tonight. Carly told Jason she was worried about how Josslyn was dealing with her grief. She mentioned the seance Joss had trying to communicate with Oscar and how she wanted her daughter to go to therapy. Jason reminded how Carly couldn’t make things easier for her daughter no matter how much she wanted; Josslyn had to figure it out herself. Later, Josslyn and Sonny returned home…with Dev in tow.
Carly (Laura Wright), Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) watch as Dev (Ashton Arbab) eats as though he hasn’t had food in months. Curtis (Donnell Turner) meets with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) at Kelly’s. Valentin promises to pay Ashford handsomely for the job on Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher). Meanwhile at The Mtero Court, Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) discuss Crimson. He reminds her she works for him and has to share his vision for the magazine. Lulu (Emme Rylan), Franco (Roger Howath) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) arrived at Ms. Tait’s classroom just after Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) finished decorating for the end of the year award ceremony. Liz offered Willow one of the cupcakes Aiden made. Then, Ms. Tait received a call from Diane (Carolyn Hennesey), who wanted Willow at the courthouse by 1:30 in order to prepare for the case. Ms. Miller was surprised to see Ms. Davis in the courtroom. The case Alexis was handling just concluded but she was waiting hoping to talk with Diane to put their heads together about the Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Diane didn’t think it was a good idea to be talking as Shiloh could see them together. “Too late,” Shiloh said as he entered the courtroom. Diane left and ran into Archer’s attorney, Zara (Maysoon Zayid) outside the courtroom. Robert (Tristan Rogers) questioned Jax about his brother Jerry’s whereabouts then went over to the bar to talk with Sonny. Corinthos told him about the Dev situation and reminded how the WSB was supposed to help the kid. Curtis (Donnell Turner) sat at Jax’s table and introduced himself, telling the Aussie that Drew (Billy Miller) offered him a security job at Aurora which meant he had to get to known Jax if he took it. Willow thanked the parents for coming and praised their help with their children’s education; she said she learned a lot teaching the third grade class. Glancinf in Nina’s direction, Willow said that although there were some challenges she experienced, she wouldn’t change anything about the year or do anything differently. Aiden was given an award for reading while Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) given the kindness award. Then, Aiden and Charlotte gave Ms. Tait flowers and a photo book of the class. Charlotte said she’d miss the teacher, but fourth grade was just one floor upstairs. Wanting to talk to Dev alone, Carly asked Josslyn to go pick up Avery’s toys. But Joss crouched by the window and listened to her mother and Dev talking and learned the teen had helped Sonny in Turkey. Shiloh taunted Alexis about Kristina’s (Lexi Ainsworth) pledge. Later, Ms. Davis made a remark to Diane that Shiloh deserved to die. Willow wanted to leave. The parents delayed her departure, telling her that it would be worth her being late for her appointment. The case began and the judge asked Alexis where was her client. Sonny returned home and told Josslyn and Carly that if anyone asked, Dev (short for Devin) was his cousin.
