A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.
Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) received a package from “some one named Chamberlain.” When Kevin opened the box, he and Laura found a hand on ice. When Scott (Kin Shriner) arrived at Ava’s (Maura West) and she told him she needed a hero and he was it. Michael (Chad Duell) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) ended up in bed. Molly (Haley Pullos) was worried she hadn’t heard from Kristina, not even a text. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) approached her daughter and admitted she hadn’t be honest. Sonny (Maurice Bernard) told Carly (Laura Wright) he wanted to get his daughter back. Sam (Kelly Monaco) was on her way to the Dawn of Day house to search for Kristina’s (Lexi Ainsworth) trust pledge. Harmony (Inga Canadrel) replaced Kali Miller’s name with Willow Tait. Then, she pulled out Kristina’s file. Dr. Neil Burns arranged chairs in a circle and explained to Kristina they represented no one was more important than the other. He asked her permission to call her family over so they could talk with her. At Volonino’s Gym while Jason (Steve Burton) worked out on the punching bag, Shiloh (Colby Ryan McLaughlin) taunted him about his (Shiloh) closeness to Sam. The packing list along with the hand indicated the parcel came from the Royal Canadian Police and wasn’t from Chamberlain but Chamberlain’s remains. Laura asked Kevin to move back in, but he told her he couldn’t because he still had work to do on himself. Ava told Scott her plan for him to pose as her boyfriend to get Ryan to come out of hiding. Scott thought the plan a bad idea and refused to help. At the DOD house, Sam saw Harmony holding Kristina’s file then followed Harmony upstairs and saw her locking a door. Neil warned Alexis and Sonny in order for the process to work they had to check their strong personalities at the door. TJ (Taji Bellow) reminded Molly how Kristina had advantages and family support but still kept getting into messes. At the session, Kristina questioned Molly and Sam’s absences and Alexis’ failure to turn off her cell phone. Laura reminded Kevin marriage was a partnership where they get to take care of each other and again asked him to come home. He agreed but had a stop to make first. Learning Sasha worked out at Volonino’s Gym peaked Carly’s interest as she had an earlier conversation with Michael. During the session, Kristina said Alexis responding to her cell made her feel her mother wasn’t always present. She added her DOD family accepted her for who she was. Michael reminded Kristina that if something is too good to be true it usually is, adding Shiloh’s true message is to listen what to him. Michael asked Kristina to come home but she said she couldn’t. Sam told Shiloh she wanted to take the next step in DOD. Ava told Kevin they were going to use Ryan’s own hand to bury him.
Michael (Chad Duell) asked Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) to come home with him, but she refused to leave her Dawn of Day family. Harmony interrupted Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Shiloh’s (Colby Ryan McLaughlin) in which she asked how she could take the next step to get into the trust. Ava (Maura West) told Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) they were going to use Ryan’s (Jon Lindstrom) own hand to bury him. Chase (Josh Swickward) and Valerie (now being played by Paulia Bugembe) ran into Molly (Haley Pullos) and TJ (Taji Bellows) outside Kelly’s Diner. Molly told Valerie that Kristina finally came to her senses and left the DOD house a few days ago. After TJ and Molly walked away, Chase wondered whether Krissy left on her own. Remembering a conversation he had with Michael, Chase wondered if Michael used his father’s resources to get Kristina away from DOD. He later texted Michael and asked to meet him. Dr. Burns asked Kristina whether she could pursue other interests outside DOD. But Kristina said DOD was all she needed or wanted. At The Floating Rib, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Laura (Genie Francis) about Ava’s plan. Meanwhile, Kevin declined to pretend to be Ava’s new boyfriend in order to lure Ryan out in the opening. He said he had amends to make to several people not just Ava and wouldn’t keep Laura in the dark again by helping her (Ava). Kevin and Laura later talked with each other about Ava and Felicia approaching them with a plan. TJ told Molly he made a copy of his mother’s medical records and believed she was keeping something from him concerning her dialysis. Jordan (Briana Henry) called Laura and told her she may have information about Ryan and someone (Curtis) who could go to Canada. Harmony ran into Willow at Kelly’s and we learned they are mother and daughter. Shiloh told Sam he needed to test if she was ready for the trust. He then proceeded to remove his shirt. Michael became frustrated with Kristina being duped by Shiloh and DOD. After Alexis, Sonny, Michael and Dr. Burns left, Kristina grabbed Alexis’ cell phone (which her mother had forgotten) from the floor where Ms. Davis had placed it.
At The Metro Court, Ava (Maura West) walked in on Julian (William deVry) paying Curtis (Donnell Turner) and told them she’s accepted Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is dead. Meanwhile, Laura (Genie Francis) thought Ava’s plan warrant merit; if they could lure Ryan about in the open it was worth it. She told Kevin (also Lindstrom) in order for it to work they’d have to end their marriage. Kevin then called Ava and told Ms. Jerome that he and Laura have reconsidered and are on board with her plan. They later met at The Floating Rib where they discussed the plan. Laura pulled Ava aside to set up guidelines reminding that the romance was for show and if Ava crossed the line, she’d have her to answer to. When Brick’s test revealed narcotics in the cup Shiloh (Colby Ryan McLaughlin) gave to Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), a furious Sonny demanded Archer’s elimination. But Jason reminded the timing was off and could cost Sonny his daughter if they went through with it. At Kelly’s, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) reminded Harmony (Inga Candranel) that she stopped being her mother when she failed to protect her from Dawn of Day. In fact, she was Kali’s mother but not Willow’s. Harmony revealed she knew her daughter was pregnant when she left the DOD compound. Willow said she was pregnant with a son but lied she miscarried. Harmony commented the miscarriage was convenient but then apologized for her choice of her own words. She assured she wouldn’t tell Shiloh about the pregnancy. Using her mother’s phone, Kristina called Valerie (Paulia Bugembe) and told her she’s needed her help. Before she could tell more, Alexis (Nancy Grahan) realized her cell phone was missing and snatched it out of her daughter’s hand. Alexis demanded to know who Kristina called by Krissy shouted she didn’t have to tell her anything. Shiloh took Sam (Kelly Monaco) up to the attic. He took off his shirt and asked whether she was ready to “shed her inhibitions.” They were interrupted when Valerie arrived at the door. Detective Spencer assured she wasn’t on official police business only there looking for Kristina. TJ questioned Jordan (Briana Henry) about her medical condition. Chase warned Michael (Chad Duell) he and his family gave Shiloh ammunition if they were holding Kristina against her will. Then he told Valerie they’d investigate Kristina’s disappearance. Before they staged their public breakup, Kevin and Laura spent their last night as a married couple in bed. Sam told Jason what happened with Shiloh and although rattled said she had to go through with the plan to pretend to join the trust. Harmony told Shiloh about her talk with Willow (excluding about her daughter’s pregnancy) and said she had to return to Beecher’s Corners. Neil accused Alexis of leaving her cell phone for Kristina to find on purpose. Alexis said he was wrong as she would do anything to get Kristina out of DOD; she no longer recognized her daughter and wanted her back.
Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura (Genie Francis) sat on the couch in each other’s arms. She asked whether he would meet with Ava and Felicia. Laura assured they’d get through the separation while he participated in Ava’s plan as long as they were in it together. Kevin vowed never to shut Laura out again. Mac (John J. York) told Ava (Maura West) he wouldn’t let Felicia (Kristina Wagner) be a part of if she (Ava) were planning to murder Ryan (also Lindstrom). At General Hospital, Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) noticed Cameron (Will Lipton) was still angry with his mother and told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) she was a good mother and Franco was a good man so she (Epiphany) was sure that Cameron would come around. Oscar (Garren Stitt) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) worked on their song until Oscar got tired. Kim (Tamara Braun) told Monica (Leslie Charleson) how grateful she was for all Josslyn had given to Oscar. Later, Joss came to General Hospital and demanded to know why Cameron hasn’t visited Oscar as he promised to be there for Oscar. Anna (Finola Hughes) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) had coffee at a table outside Kelly’s. Anna told Robert finding a bracelet show wore the entire time they were in Europe and at their wedding convinced her they were Robin’s parents. When Finn (Michael Easton) arrived, Anna announced that from now on she was going to focus on enjoying life. Oscar told Kim and Monica he wanted to ass Quartermaine to his last name, wanting it to be his legacy. Cameron, Elizabeth and Josslyn arrived and learned Oscar would now being known as Oscar Nero Quartermaine. Bobbie (Jaclyn Zeman) came with Carly (Laura Wright) for her doctor’s appointment. The doctor told Carly that her numbers look good and her blood pressure was down. Carly asked whether the new baby could be bipolar like its father. The doctor answered there wasn’t a test to make that determination. At The Floating Rib, Kevin overheard Mac talking with Ava about not wanting to be a part if she was planning to murder Ryan. Kevin told the group they’re assuming Ryan can be killed. He reminded Ava that she only saw the Ryan who loved her and would do anything for her; she never met the dangerous serial killer. But they all agreed to the plan if it would stop Ryan once and for all. Monica gave Oscar a family poker set that belonged to his great grandfather Edward Quartermaine and Drew, Oscar and Cameron play a hand. Cameron folds easily which leaves Oscar and his dad left. Drew wondered what kind of hand his son has…does he have the cards to win? But Oscar told his father that he’d have to call to find out. Drew put his cards down. But when Oscar showed his hand, the teen didn’t have a winning hand, revealing he was a good bluffer. Kim and Elizabeth smiled when Monica commented that was proof Oscar was a Quartermaine after all.
Oscar (Garren Stitt) commented it was always good being outside when Cameron (Will Lipton) talked about good community service assignments. Kim (Tamara Braun) showed her son the pictures Monica (Leslie Charleson) had taken. When Jason (Steve Burton) entered, Oscar commented that the only thing missing in the photo was his uncle, thanking Jason for coming. Finn (Michael Easton) showed Robert (Tristan Rogers) the sapphire engagement ring he bought for Anna (Finola Hughes). Scorpio had to quickly hide it when Anna appeared. At The Metro Court, Peter (Wes Ramsey) was surprised to see Lulu (Emme Rylan) had returned to Port Charles. Lulu explained once she heard about Ryan’s (Jon Lindstrom) severed hand being found, she knew she had to come back. Lulu wanted to do an interview with the subject of Ryan Chamberlain’s obsession: Ava Jerome (Maura West). At Crimson, Maxie (Kristen Storms) was trying to select an outfit to wear on her date with Peter. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) apologized for being late for work as she overslept. She looked sick and started coughing. At the kitchen of the Corinthos house, Carly (Laura Wright) drank orange juice and told Sonny (Maurice Benard) about her daughter’s appointment. Michael (Chard Duell) entered. He was coughing and appeared sick like Sasha. Anna took a call from Robin and told her daughter she wanted to send her an old heirloom bracelet that she (Anna) and Robert picked up in Europe. Finn had to leave before Robert could give him back the ring. Lulu and Peter talked about being in love; she assured him that even though he said he’d never been in love it’s obvious from how he’s been with Maxie. When Sasha passed out, a worried Nina (Michelle Stafford) took her to General Hospital. Sasha was surprised when Michael also appeared as he needed antibiotics for his flu bug. Carly and Sonny told Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) that she was going to be a big sister. The Corinthos decided to take a page from Josslyn’s book and live in the moment instead of worrying about lives problems. Maxie came to meet Peter in The Metro Court dining room and welcomed Lulu home. After Lulu left, Maxie and Peter decided to postpone their date. Finn texted Robert about getting back Anna’s engagement ring from Agent Scorpio. Michael overheard a heavily medicated Sasha saying she wished Nina were her real mother. Oscar asked for his parents’ permission to take a ride on Jason’s motorcycle. Drew agreed later telling Kim that he wanted Oscar to experience all live had to offer while he still could. but it took some convincing of Kim. Then, Oscar said he wished Drew and Jason could be real brothers. The men admitted they had their love and concern for Oscar in common. Oscar asked Josslyn to leave so he could talk with Cameron alone. Once his girlfriend was out of the room, Nero told Cameron to take out his phone because Oscar wanted to record a video for Josslyn (Edem McCoy).
