Due to Labor Day, General Hospital aired an encore episode from Monday, May 6, 2019:
Laura (Genie Francis) thanked Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) for the bouquet of tulips he sent even though he couldn’t sign the card because of the plan. Speaking of the plan, Kevin had to hang up because it was show time at The Metro Court when Ava (Maura West) arrived. Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Scott (Kin Shriner) were discussing The Nurse’s Ball. Spotting Ava and Kevin together, Lucy came over to their table. With Scott standing next to her, Lucy suggested Ava go to the ball with Baldwin, but Kevin said Ava were going with him. Robert (Tristan Rogers) ran into Laura outside of Kelly’s and asked her to go to The Nurse’s Ball with him. Laura declined and Robert reasoned she wasn’t ready to move on from Kevin. Scott pulled Ava aside and asked what she was up to with Kevin. Curtis (Donnell Turner) asked Jordan (Briana Henry) whether she was keeping anything from him about her medical condition. Anna (Finola Hughes) told Finn (Michael Easton) she was ready to move on with her life. Finn thought about when he practiced proposing to her with the skeleton. Maxie (Kristen Storms) told Lulu (Emme Rylan) about her (Maxie) non-date with Peter (Wes Ramsey). Anna ran into her son. Peter told her being Faison (Anders Hove) was making him pulled back from Maxie. He talked about how Faison raised him and his fear of hurting Maxie. Anna assured he wasn’t giving Maxie enough credit. Finn told Curtis and Jordan her kidney was failing and she needed a donor immediately. But he was optimistic someone in Port Charles could be a match. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) told Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) how she escaped from Dawn of Day and the story of meeting Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) when she was eighteen. She and her mother lived at different communes until they discovered DOD. Her mother was good at outreach and soon became Shiloh’s right hand. Her mother joined The Trust. Then, Shiloh wanted her. She recorded her pledge and was initiated. Willow showed Kristina her DOD tattoo, explained about being drugged and had later had sex with Shiloh. After Willow left, Dr. Burns told Kristina she reached a crossroad in her treatment and had to make a decision based on the information she was given. Kevin received a text from Dr. Finn asking him to meet in Jordan’s hospital room. Finn entered and announced Kevin had the genetic to be Jordan’s kidney donor. Robert said Anna had to consider Peter may be Alex’s (also Hughes) son. Maxie met Peter at The Metro Court and whisked her off for their date. Dr. Neil Burns left the door to the safe house opened and told Kristina it was her decision to return to Shiloh or stay with her family.
Carly (Laura Wright) told Jax (Ingo Rademacher) she fell down the stairs and broke her foot, which will take six weeks to heal. She met Gladys Corbin, who winked to Carly “I’m the grandmother” to Mike’s (Max Gail) confusion. Carly texted Sonny (Maurice Benard) to let him know Cousin Gladys was at The Metro Court. Sonny was pleased when Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) confirmed Julian (William deVry) was leaving town and she was buying Charlie’s. Julian came to General Hospital looking for Kim (Tamar Braun). Elizabeth told him the last time she spoke with Kim she got the impression Dr. Nero was starting to fall for her husband (Franco) even though she knew he wasn’t Drew but only had Drew’s memories. Franco/Drew (Roger Howarth) told Kim all he knew was being in the navy but in the body he was in now he’s probably too old to re-enlist so when he left Port Charles, he didn’t know what he would do. But before he left, “Drew” wanted her to tell him more about their son. Curtis told Jordan (Briana Henry) about being recommended by Hayden (Rebecca Herbst) for a new job. Jax told Hayden that Curtis turned out to be a moll hired by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to gather information on him (Jax). So later when Ashford came after to Elizabeth’s house to talk with Hayden, Jax expressed his doubts in trusting Curtis. But Curtis assured he was no longer working for Valentin. Trina (Sydney Mikalya) told Cameron (William Lipton) she wanted to get Dev (Ashton Arhab). Later at The Metro Court, Dev met his “nana” Gladys. Sonny warned Gladys against trying to renegotiate their arrangement. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) made her dad a cake for Australian Father’s Day. It turned out better than a previous attempt at baking a cake, that one didn’t even rise. Curtis and Jordan found Andre (Anthony Montgomery) badly injured at GH but Drew (Billy Miller) hadn’t been with him. Kim told Franco/Drew more stories about Oscar, admitting she had regrets for not telling Drew he had a son. Then, they shared a kiss.
Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) told Jordan (Briana Henry) about Andre’s (Anthony Montgomery) spleen needing to be removed. At The Metro Court, Robert (Tristan Rogers) had to step away from Mac’s (John J. York) celebration to take a phone call. Then, he had words with Peter (Wes Ramsey) after learning August was invited to celebrate Mac’s new position. He continue to tell Peter that no matter how much he tries to pretend otherwise, he’s like Faison. Maxie (Kristen Storms) told Mac her concern he’ll jump into danger as Chief of Detectives. She commented that the men in her life have a complex to be heroes and often fail to put their safety first. Jason (Steve Burton) came over to Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) with a back to school present for Jake (Hudson West). They talked about Franco’s (Roger Howarth) belief he was Drew. Jason told Liz to prepare herself for the possibility Andre can’t reverse the procedure so what she wanted (Franco coming back to her and the boys) may not happen. Cameron (William Lipton) lamented on the rough summer he had as school was starting soon and wished he had a do-over. Afterwards, Trina (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron saw Kim (Tamara Braun) and Franco kissing. The teens hid and listened to the conversation between the two where Franco as Drew told Kim that she was his only family, not Elizabeth and her boys. Unable to bear it anymore, Cameron came out from his hiding place and confront Franco over what he was doing the Webber family by continuing to be Drew. After the teen left, Franco/Drew sat by the Oscar’s Meadow memorial headstone and commented how lucky Franco was to have people who loved him. Elizabeth told Jason she couldn’t give up on Franco and getting her family back together. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Julian (William deVry) the sale of Charlie’s may be delayed as Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) tries to figure out whether she’ll incorporate to purchase the business. When Kim arrived, Alexis offered Dr. Nero her legal services if Kim wanted to get a restraining order against Franco. Mac received a call about Andre and had to leave his own celebration. Lucas (Ryan Carnes) told Julian how Sam (Kelly Monaco) was arranging a family get together. Mac, Jason and Robert arrived at GH. After Mac told her Jason was working with the police, Epiphany revealed that Dr. Maddow was ended up at the emergency room after being stabbed in the chest twice. Mac, Jason and Robert realized someone wanted the good doc dead. Meanwhile Peter, who had been listening to the exchange, entered Andre’s hospital room.
Carly (Laura Wright) was shocked when Sonny (Maurice Benard) mentioned he and Diane (Carolyn Hennesey) were discussing the possibility of adopting Dev (Ashton Arhad). Diane explained that since Dev just turned sixteen and missed the immigration age to be adopted under his real credentials, Sonny considered adopting him under his fake name Dev Corbin. After Ms. Miller left, Carly reminded that once adopted Dev would always be a part of their family. So, she wanted to bring the kids into the decision and asked whether Sonny was ready to have that conversation with them. At The Metro Court, Michael (Chad Duell) told Sam (Kelly Monaco) he didn’t know much about Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). He remembered how Nelle (Chloe Lanier) kept lies but knew Sasha was nothing like Ms. Benson. Finn (Michael Easton) told Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) that DNA testing is part of Sasha’s treatment. After the infectious disease expert walked away, Liesl asked Valentin would he’d do once it was revealed Sasha wasn’t Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) daughter, commenting perhaps it would be better for Cassadine if Sasha died. Valentin resented the implication, reminding Obretch that Nina would be inconsolable if Sasha died. Nina told Sasha she’d give up her life for hers (Sasha). Peter commented that Dr. Maddow shouldn’t have returned to Port Charles. What was he going to do with him? That, Peter did something to Andre’s IV. Franco/Drew (Roger Howarth) ran into Kim (Tamara Braun) at Charlie’s. He met Julian (William deVry) and apologized to Kim for upsetting her earlier. After “introducing” himself to Alexis (Nancy Grahan) and learning she was a lawyer, Franco/Drew asked her to represent him in order to get his ankle monitor removed. Ms. Davis said it would be a conflict of interest because of her daughter (Sam). Julian told Kim he agreed with her original idea that it was time they left Port Charles. Cameron (William Lipton) told his mother how he saw Franco and Oscar’s mom kissing. Although upset, Elizabeth explained to her son she had to stay focused in order to work towards bringing Franco back. Liesl asked Brad (Parry Shen) to ensure the DNA test would reveal Sasha as Nina’s daughter or she’d tell Michael Corinthos that Cooper was raising his son. Peter told Finn to tell his mother he missed her, how sorry he was very misjudging her decisions and how he hoped to have a better relationship with her. Andre woke up and told Mac, Jason and Jordan who Drew (Billy Miller) came to see him in Ethiopia and convinced him to return to Port Charles. As Drew was on his way to Afghanistan, Andre took a commercial flight back to Port Charles. But the car he thought sent by Drew to pick him up from the airport and take him to GH drove down an alley where he was stabbed twice. He fought his assailant off, managed to make it back to the car and drive himself to GH. Sam learned Drew’s plane never made it to Afghanistan and appears to have gone missing.
At Charlie’s, Diane (Carol Hennesey) was eager to hear about Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) date with Neil (Joe Flanigan). We got a flashback of the couple at The Floating Rib for drag queen bingo. Ms. Davis was the winner “The queen of bingo” and rewarded Neil with a kiss. At Kelly’s, Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) were spending time with Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Wiley. They talked about school starting soon and how Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was facing it. Meanwhile, Josslyn was telling Dev (Ashton Arhab) how she wasn’t happy about returning to school. Dev suggested she blow it off. Overhearing, Jax (Ingo Rademacher) told his daughter he’d understand if she wanted to wait another day. Brad (Parry Shen) gave Liesl (Kathleen Gati) the latest test results for Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) which proves with a doubtful she and Nina (Cynthia Watros) are mother and daughter. But told her they were now done. Liesl was impressed on how tough Brad had become but assured she wouldn’t reveal Brad’s paternity secret; her family’s well being is in his hand like his is in hers. At Pentonville, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) had another conversation with Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). She commented how she couldn’t believe his followers brought his DOD yarn. Liesl told Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) she took care of the DNA results but didn’t do it for him but for Nina. Finn (Michael Easton) was cautiously optimistic when the treatment appeared to be working on Sasha. He told Valentin he heard from Anna (Finola Hughes) who wanted him to give Cassadine the message not to go after Cassandra (Jessica Tuck) and let the police handle it. Valentin said he’d take that suggestion under advisement. But Valentin later told Nina that as Michael (Chad Duell) was also put in danger, Sonny make take care of Cassandra for them. After Dev and Josslyn left for school, Jax commented that Sonny could have at least given him a heads up that a teenage boy was going to be living with his (Jax) daughter. Sonny reminded Dev was family and you take care of family. When Jax and Sonny came inside Kelly’s, Carly asked Jax how Josslyn was doing and said they should be on the same page where their daughter was concerned. After Jax left, Carly asked her husband to put himself in Jax’s place asking how he’d feel if Kristina were Josslyn’s age and living with a teenage boy. Sonny told Carly that Jax should be more concerned about Aurora and Nina’s connection to Sasha. Liesl rode the elevator with Lucas, Michael and Wiley and commented Wiley was a lucky little boy to have two fathers who loved him. A new kid had Oscar’s old locker. Josslyn looked at a photo of she and Oscar taped inside her locker at school. Nelle told Shiloh she was in prison because of the Quartermaines but if they worked together, they could both get what they wanted and she could help him get his son back.
