A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) didn’t like the idea of redecorating and told Ava (Maura West) to feel free to move out. Julian (William deVry) asked Britt (Kelly Thieubald) when he would see her again before she left to visit her mother. Franco (Roger Howath) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) they needed money for their mounting home repair bills. Finn (Michael Easton) told Elizabeth that with Violet’s birthday coming up he had to find Hayden (Rebecca Budig). Sonny (Maurice Benard) asked Brando (Johnny Wactor) what he thought about his new place of business showing him the garage while Jason (Steve Burton) watched. Brando reminded he was an ex-con and didn’t want to risk being sent back to prison if the garage is a front for illegal activity. Sonny assured Brando the garage was his to run how he wanted and wasn’t connected to anything he alleged involved with. After Sonny left, Brando told Jason it probably was better if he returned back to Chicago. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) told Ava (Maura West) that if she didn’t like it at Wydemere she didn’t have to stay. Ava reminded he’d be tempted to cheat if she weren’t there. Nikolas didn’t want to change Wyndemere in case Spencer came home. Carly (Laura Wright) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) discussed the teen living in Australia or being home schooled. But Joss didn’t want to leave her mom, Avery or Donna. Carly asked Josslyn if she hired one of her daughter’s teachers as a tutor…who would Joss pick? Josslyn suggested Mr. Phillips (Mark Lawson). Carly told her daughter that if she ever felt she or Donna were in the kind of danger they couldn’t come back from she’d leave Sonny to protect them. Josslyn commented she learned resilience from Carly. Anna (Finola Hughes) tried to convince Robert (Tristan Rogers) that Liesl (Kathleen Gati) was guilty. Britt visited Liesl and asked whether she was guilty. Liesl explained how Peter (Wes Ramsey) set her up and asked her daughter’s help to prove it. “I choose self preservation” Britt said not wanting to jeopardize her parole. Franco told Scott (Kin Shriner) he needed $100,000 for home repairs. Scott offered to help his get a loan. Ava told Nikolas a savvy Hayden would have heard he was alive and would have returned …unless she couldn’t. Jason told Brandon that Sonny and Carly are his best friends. Ava assured a worried Franco that he didn’t lose his artistic talent. Robert came to see Liesl and told her he believed she wasn’t guilty of this particular crime and suggested maybe they could work together. Sonny warned Julian if Jerome had anything to do with keeping his grandson away from Michael (Chad Duell), he (Sonny) would have to address it. Right after assuring Brando nothing would stand in the way of Corbin’s attempt to make a new life for himself in Port Charles, Jason had to draw his gun when he heard a disturbance.

Tuesday

At The Metro Court, Sam (Kelly Monaco) told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) how Molly (Haley Pullos) hadn’t heard from TJ (Taj Bellows). Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) welcomed Neil (Joe Flanagan) to the staff of GH. She asked him about having a consultation with Cameron (William Lipton). Josslyn (Eden McCoy) suggested Cameron be home schooled along with her. But the teen didn’t think his mom would go for him being tutored at mob central. Josslyn said she didn’t know what she would have done if anything happened to Cameron. Concerned about Trina’s (Sydney Mikayla) internship, Portia (Brook Kerr) questioned Carly (Laura Wright) about Ava Jerome (Maura West). Carly told Portia about Ava’s history with Morgan and suggested Portia limit Trina’s contact with Ava. Harmony came to the garage to get her new car fixed. Jason left and Brando (Johnny Wactor) helped Harmony, questioning about her reaction to Jason. Harmony explained that as an ex-con who knew what Jason and Sonny really did for a living, she didn’t want to risk being sent back to prison. At GH, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) told Chase (Josh Swickward) she was worried about her mother. He received a call from Michael asking him to come over to keep an eye on Nelle (Chloe Lanier) during her court appointed visit with Wiley. Trina got angry with Josslyn. Nelle was annoyed when Chase showed up during her visit with Wiley. After Nelle left, Chase (Josh Swickward) reminded Michael (Chad Duell) he may not be able to get rid of Nelle (Chloe Lanier) unless she was caught breaking the law. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) thought Michael should reconsider getting married. Josslyn assured Trina she was there for her. Cameron came out on the Corinthos patio to tell Josslyn her computer was acting weird. Trina asked Cameron what was wrong with her for blowing up on Joss. At GH for her follow-up visit, Laura (Genie Francis) suggested Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) have Cameron talk with a therapist. Liz told Laura she already spoke with Dr. Neil Byrnes about treating Cameron. Sam (Kelly Monaco) gave Jordan (Briana Henry) TJ’s (Taj Bellows) location information that Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was able to hack from TJ’s phone. Sam asked Jordan to tell TJ to call Molly (Haley Pullos). Brando (Jonny Wactor) told Harmony that Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) could help if she was in trouble. Nelle came to The Metro Court to taunt Carly (Laura Wright). Brando told Jason he didn’t think Harmony came to the garage because of trouble with her car; she was there because she was in trouble and needed help. Harmony arrived at the police commissioner’s office and told Jordan she needed to talk with her now. Portia said Trina’s behavior in blaming Curtis for Marcus’ death was unacceptable and added they (she and Curtis) needed to talk about Trina. Cameron told Trina about his nightmares in which he was the one shot and killed. Trina had similar nightmares, adding she was glad they weren’t real otherwise she couldn’t do this. And with that, Trina and Cameron kissed. Nelle showed Carly a photo on her phone where Wiley seemed to be having a good time with her. Willow arrived at the Quartermaine mansion. “Chase told me what happened…what can I do to help?” she asked.

Wednesday

Jax (Ingo Rademacher) came to Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) office to see how she was doing after her aunt Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) arrest. Nina said she was disappointed but not surprised. Jordan (Briana Henry) told Harmony she didn’t have time for her because she had police business. The phone was ringing off the hook at ELQ and Ned (Wally Kurth) realized Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was nowhere to be found. At The Metro Court dining room, Brook Lynn was having a salad when Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) approached. Lulu and Brook Lynn exchanged words; Ms. Quartermaine accused Lulu of being disappointed by Dante and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) because she (Lulu) was too high up on her horse. Lulu and Maxie went to their table where Maxie told Lulu she felt Nina took her for granted; she did everything at Crimson. Portia (Brook Kerr) assured Curtis (Donnell Turner) he wasn’t Trina’s (Sydney Mikayla) father. She apologized for not telling Curtis she was married while they were together. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was surprised when Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) suggested Ms. Tait marry Michael (Chad Duell) she’s been Wiley’s mother for awhile now…why not just continue? Chase (Josh Swickward) wasn’t happy with the idea. Maxie reminded Nina she wasn’t her assistant but the Creative Director. Nina assured she appreciated Maxie and promised she’d get her what she needed. Trina (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron (William Lipton) felt awkward after their kiss. Jax asked Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to come back to Australia with him. But his daughter declined. Harmony followed Jordan who found TJ’s (Taj Bellows) phone in an alley. Harmony told Jordan that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) had TJ moved. She urged Jordan to do what Cyrus asked. Jax told Nina he couldn’t approve her proposal for a raise and promotion for Maxie. Ned told Brook Lynn to scan and deliver some confidential papers but she instead took a video of her desk and posted it to social media. Michael refused to use lies to get Wiley. Curtis told Jordan he spoke with Portia and she confirmed he wasn’t Trina’s father. After Curtis left her off, Jordan called Mac (John J. York) and gave the order for the police to leave the location where Cyrus’ major shipment was landing.

Thursday

Michael (Chad Duell) brought Wiley to ELQ, commenting on how well Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) at her job. Carly (Laura Wright) asked Jason (Steve Burton) whether Brandon (Johnny Wactor) decided to stay in Port Charles. At Volonino’s Gym, Brando was working out on the punching bag when Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) approached asking whether he can work out his frustrations on the bag. He told Brando about a woman he knew who need rescuing because she’s moved in with a dangerous man. At The Metro Court, Robert (Tristan Rogers) questioned Peter (Wes Ramsey) about Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) claim August set her up. Afterwards, Olivia (Lisa Locierco) asked Scorpio about whether the WSB could provide an update on Dante. Lulu (Emme Rylan) showed Maxie (Kirsten Storms) the Facebook post Brook Lynn did with the video of her desk revealing ELQ merger papers. Maxie encouraged Lulu to contact Brook Lynn to tell her to delete the post. But Lulu instead got Peter’s approval to report the story in The Invader. Jason told Sonny about Harmony’s visit to Brando’s garage with her new car. They wondered whether Willow’s mother was really there to ask questions about Sonny. Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna (Finola Hughes) talked about Violet’s birthday and planning their wedding. When the story of the merger was leaked by The Invader, Ned, Olivia and Michael attempted to do damage control as Brook Lynn realized Lulu was responsible. Jax (Ingo Radmachner) and Carly tried to come to an agreement on what was best for Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Maxie was angry when although Nina offered her a new job title she said there was no room in the budget for a raise. Brando came over to the Corinthos house and told Sonny his opinion on what happened when Harmony came to the garage. Sonny reminded Brando was to have no part of his business. Anna ran into Jason and Spinelli at Volonino’s Gym and asked both to put aside their feelings about Peter for Georgie and Violet’s sakes. Maxie told Lulu she wasn’t getting her raise buy planned payback. Robert asked Finn to stay on guard and keep an eye on Peter when he’s around Anna. Brook Lynn came to The Metro Court dining room to confront Lulu. Ms. Spencer said she just reports the news while Brook Lynn makes it. “For a has been you sure know how to stay relevant,” Lulu taunted.

Friday

Anna (Finola Hughes) asked Jason (Steve Burton) to try to soften his feelings towards Peter (Wes Ramsey) and see him through her eyes. Jason accused Anna of using her connection to Peter to manipulate him. Anna countered saying Jason is using his hatred of Peter’s past against him. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) came to pick up Georgie and wasn’t happy when Peter answered the door holding Georgie’s hand. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) called Jax (Ingo Radmachner) cheapskate as she showed him into Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) office. Jax commented how Maxie wasn’t handling getting her raise well. “That is Maxie handling it well,” Nina said. Maxie called Lucy (Lynn Herring) and said she was ready to talk about them working together. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) told Lucy he’d like to be Deception’s solo investor. Realizing this would cut out Nina and Deception, Lucy declined. Although his fortune has diminished now that he was proven not to be a Cassadine, he has other sources of income. Chase (Josh Swickward) assured Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) despite everything happening with Janelle, Willow is the only thing making him happy. Carly (Laura Wright) told Michael (Chad Duell) he had to win custody of Maxie by whatever means necessary. After Michael left for his workout, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told Carly about the plan for Michael to marry Willow. “I gotta hand it to you Sasha, I didn’t think you had it in you,” Carly said with a smile. Peter told Spinelli he and Maxie will eventually marry so they need to get along. Peter accused Spinelli of still having feelings for Maxie which he said was untrue. Maxie gave Nina her letter of resignation and when Lucy entered announced Ms. Coe was her new boss. Lucy called the whole thing a misunderstanding. Maxie was angry she quit her job since Lucy was now saying there wasn’t a new one at Deception. Nina canceled Crimson and Deception’s partnership. Lulu shook the champagne up all over Brook Lynn after Ms. Quartermaine said Dante left Lulu for being a nag. Lulu said Brook Lynn couldn’t carry a tune with a forklift. Soon, the two women were engaged in a fight. Chase received the call about the fight at The Metro Court. Maxie returned home with her belongings from Crimson and told Peter and Spinelli she was unemployed. Lulu and Brook Lynn’s brawl at The Metro Court was being recorded by Valentin. Chase tried to pull the women apart and was punched in the nose by accident by Brook Lynn. Detective Chase arrested Brook Lynn. Carly called Sasha her kind of person for being willing to watch Michael marry another woman just so he’d get custody of Wiley. “You’re a good person that knows how to do bad,” Carly complimented Sasha. Anna returned home and thanked Willow for she and Chase watching Violet. As she had no place to be, Willow wanted to stay for a bit so she and Anna could talk to get to know each other. But Anna told Willow she had work to catch up on because some cases were harder to solve. At Volonino’s Gym, Michael told Jason about Sasha’s idea for him to marry Willow. Carly told Sasha she was confident Ms. Gilmore would come up with a plan to help Michael get custody of Wiley. Chase locked Brook Lynn in a jail cell and told her to listen when he told her she had the right to remain silent. Before leaving The Metro Court, Lulu demanded Valentin delete the video of the fight. Lucy came in as Lulu was leaving and told Valentin she was ready to discuss something near and dear to both their hearts: Deception. Nina panicked how she’d run Crimson without Maxie. Meanwhile, Lucy called Maxie with a job offer, telling Ms Jones she had secured an investor. After hanging up with Maxie, Lucy and Valentin toasted their new partnership.
