A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

In the park, Sam (Kelly Monaco) left a message on Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) asking for her mother’s forgiveness. Molly (Haley Pullos) arrived and told her sister about seeing Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Bernard) Franco (Roger Howath) and Cameron (William Lipton) were also in the park. Detective Chase (Josh Swickward) brought Jason into the interrogation room and told him the police commissioner had some questions about the warehouse shooting in February. Sonny and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) came to GH to visit Mike (Max Gail). Portia (Brook Kerr) explained to Sonny that Mike was refusing to walk for fear of falling. Portia told Sonny she’d order test to see the reason. Curtis (Donnell Turner) thought Taggert’s name being added to the list of the fallen should give the family some comfort. But Jordan was distracted thinking about throwing her team under the bus to get a dangerous drug lord released to save her son. Curtis came to see Portia because she texted him. He admitted he told Jordan about their affair. Jason and Jordan went over what she was going to tell the officer from Internal Affairs (IA). Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) found Nelle (Chloe Lanier) locked on the roof. Once Elizabeth wheeled Nelle downstairs, she demanded Chase arrest Carly. Jordan met with IA officer Cliff Simpson.Trina and Cameron told Ava (Maura West) respectively about their kiss. Josslyn told Mike that they may stop by tomorrow to visit. Elizabeth arrived with a wheelchair to take Mike to radiology but he became agitated. When she learned that she’d signed the consent form, Nelle insisted a handwriting expert would verified it was forged. But when Bobbie came back for Nelle to review her signature on the document, Nurse Spencer said the consent was missing. Then, Monica arrived with an update on Wiley’s condition. Ava told Trina that the teen had to protect herself because Cameron had feelings for Josslyn; Trina didn’t deserve to be without someone who was in love with someone else. Ava urged if Trina could get out of a possible relationship with Cameron, now was the time to do it. Franco told Cameron that Elizabeth taking a chance by giving her heart to him. Jordan used a burner phone to call someone and asked them to tell her the right thing to do for something she has to do. Sam called Jason and asked whether he heard anything about TJ (Taj Bellows) because Molly saw he and Sonny leaving Curtis and Jordan’s apartment. Jason agreed to meet Sam at their special place. Commission Ashford told IA officer Cliff Simpson her review Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) has uncovered new information. Viewers saw Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) remove the forged consent form from Wiley’s file and shred it. Learning Wiley will need another surgery and not trusting Nelle to make the right medical decisions for their son, Michael again vowed to do whatever it took to get some custody.

Tuesday

At an addiction meeting at GH, Finn (Michael Easton) noticed Alexis (Nancy Grahan) took a chip for one day sobriety. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was at The Metro Court with Ned (Wally Kurth). She glared at Lulu (Emme Rylan) when she arrived with Dustin (Mark Lawson). Britt (Kelly Theibaud) and Julian (William deVry) were in bed. Britt commented how with Brad (Parry Shen) in prison she lost her best friend…the only person who ever got her and now she doesn’t know how to replace that in her life. IA officer Cliff Simpson recorded Jordan’s (Briana Henry) statement in which she said in going over the evidence she believed her fellow agents fabricated evidence to guarantee a conviction of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Laura (Genie Francis) and Mac (John J. York) were surprised when Jordan exited the office. Mac reminded Jordan he should know what was going on as Chief of Police. Jordan said it had to do with her and Cyrus Renault. Trina (Sydney Mikayla) met in the park. He told her how his mom encouraged him to have therapy because of his recent trauma. Trina told Cameron that Josslyn didn’t know about their (Trina and Cameron) kiss and it should stay that way because it only happened because of what they’d both been through. Jordan came to Portia’s (Brook Kerr) office and told Dr. Robinson that she discovered Taggert and the other agents planted evidence to ensure a conviction against Cyrus Renault. Portia was surprised when Jordan said she knew nothing about it because they kept her out of it. “What are they doing here?!” Trina demanded when she found Curtis and Jordan in her mother’s office. Neil (Joe Flanigan) interrupted Finn and Alexis. He reminded her that she didn’t have to be his patient for him to help her. Julian was angry that Dr. Byrnes appeared to be taking advantage of Alexis after Britt told him she saw them together in a hotel room in New York. Laura asked Mac to find out all he could about the allegations that Taggert and the other abused their power of office by planting evidence. Brook Lynn told Lulu she got out of her contract and now had to reestablish her brand. Lulu apologized to Brook Lynn. Ms. Quartermaine accepted but told Lulu to give her (Brook Lynn) her boyfriend (Dustin). When he saw Neil and Alexis holding hands in an office at GH, Julian pushed Dr. Byrnes against a wall.

Wednesday

Julian (William deVry) pushed Neil (Joe Flanagan) against the wall, vowing he’d never take advantage of Alexis (Nancy Grahan) again or practice medicine. Julian accused Neil of being a predator who drove Alexis to drink. At Kelly’s, Nina asked Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) whether it was okay if Jax (Ingo Rademacher) joined them. After Charlotte went to sit with her friend at the counter, Nina told Jax she hired Nelle (Chloe Lanier) as her administrative assistant to keep an eye on the schemer. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) talked on the phone to someone about obtaining Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) ELQ stock. At The Metro Court, Brook Lynn asked Dustin (Mark Lawson) to collaborate writing a song together. Trina (Sydney Mikayla) refused to believe Jordan’s (Briana Henry) claim Taggert fabricated evidence to get a conviction for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Cameron (William Lipton) asked Trina whether it was better to know the truth. Brando helped Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) make a pasta necklace. Felix (Marc Samuels) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) that Mike (Max Gail) was refusing to walk for fear of falling down. Sonny came to see his father and urged him to try walking or he’d could forget and have to relearn how. Then, Sonny told his father a story about how Mike got him his first bike and taught him to ride. Both Britt and Alexis were furious with Julian for blurting out for the whole GH to hear about Alexis and Neil sleeping together. Valentin interrupted Nina and Jax at Kelly’s and asked to have a quick private moment with Nina. Outside Kelly’s, Nina told Vaentin she and Jax were seeing each other. Brook Lynn pitched a song idea to Dustin. “C’mon Dusty would do you say? It’ll be like Battery Park all over again,” Brook Lynn asked before walking away. Dustin told Lulu he wasn’t going to do it. But Lulu encouraged him collaborating with Brook Lynn. Carly told Brando that Avery was Sonny’s daughter. But she helped to take care of the little girl because Avery’s mother wasn’t the best. Brando told Carly how his childhood was similar; Gladys had a hard life. So while she was thinking he was out committing crimes, he was in the library reading books about horses. Brando recalled how Mike used to take him to the track. Valentin told Nina he was there for her if Jax ever disappointed her. Charlotte put her backpack on the floor and Jax tripped over it taking a tumble at Kelly’s. Trina accused Curtis and Jordan of trying to ruin her father’s reputation. Alexis worried what would happen to Neil’s career now that the truth of their affair was made public by Julian. Sonny got Mike to walk the halls at GH just as Carly arrived with Brando. Mike was shocked to see Brando who was supposed to be dead.

Thursday

Everyone though he was killed overseas but it was just a misunderstanding. As you can see he’s alive and well,” Carly (Laura Wright) explained. Sonny tried to assure Mike that Brando was family. But Mike assisted he didn’t know Brando. Sam (Kelly Monaco) met with Jason (Steve Burton) and told him about her plan with Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to get leverage on her parole officer backfired in her face. “And now she going to come after me,” Sam told Jason. Trina (Sydney Mikayla) interrupted Ava’s (Maura West) call asking for her help. She explained how the police commissioner is saying her father fabricated evidence. Molly (Haley Pullos) stormed into Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan’s (Briana Henry) and demanded TJ’s mom tell her where he was. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) came to visit Cyrus (Jeff Kober) telling Renault he was a psychiatrist. Laura (Genie Francis) refused to allow a drug dealer loose in Port Charles when Robert (Tristan Rogers). Molly told Curtis and Jordan that TJ was ghosting her and if she hadn’t heard back from him in twenty-four hours, she’d search for him herself. Or place an ad in The Invader with TJ’s picture and the headline ‘Have You Seen This Man?’ “Molly stop acting like a child!” Jordan shouted. She explained the goal was to keep Renault locked up for as long as it took Mac (John J. York) to find evidence tying Cyrus to the waterfront shooting. Mike remembered Brando briefly before reverting back to his fear that Carly and Brando were up to no good. He asked Sonny to get extra security. Jason reminded Sam that not seeing each other for a year and a half was not as bad as her being sent back to prison. He told her that Cyrus was attacking Sonny on all fronts and if she were in prison, he couldn’t protect her. Then Jason told Sam “Renault has TJ Ashford.” Brando told Carly at first he wasn’t happy about Sonny keeping him there. But he had to admit it was good getting to know family.”My dad doesn’t know who Brando is,” Sonny told Carly. Ava reminded Trina that Taggert was his daughter’s hero because he put his own safety aside to protect her which is the real definition of a parent. Jordan told Molly she pushed TJ away by refusing his marriage proposal, adding that TJ would contact her when he was ready. “I never expected to break up with TJ. But I sure as hell didn’t expect to do it through his mother,” Molly said angrily then left Curtis and Jordan’s apartment in tears. Jordan commented to Curtis she hoped it worked and stopped Molly from launching a search party. Sonny told Carly how Mike asked him to beef up security because his dad thought Brando was going to hurt him. Molly came to Brando’s garage because she was having problems with her hybrid’s under carriage. At the PCPD’s interrogation room, Kevin reported to Laura that his session of Renault revealed Cyrus as a narcissist. He said he’d recommend the drug dealer be remanded to Ferncliff for “an extended evaluation.” But Robert appeared and said that plan wouldn’t work. Sonny came back to see his father. This time Mike recognized him and wanted Sonny to take him home. After leaving his father’s hospital room, Sonny told Carly he had to stay the night at the hospital with his dad. Brando told Molly he could arrange for her car to be towed…he didn’t want to take advantage of her because she obviously came their for a reason. Ava encouraged Trina to call her mother so Portia (Brook Kerr) wouldn’t be worried. Jordan felt guilty for hurting Molly and tarnishing her fellow agents’ memories. Curtis reminded once TJ was safe she could tell Molly the truth. Brando agreed to write a fair estimate for her car’s repair. Molly told Brando how when she wrecked her car she thought it was the perfect ending to a bad day. But now she saw it as a turning point. Ava encouraged Trina to call her mother so Jordan wouldn’t worry. She reminded it didn’t matter how the world saw Taggert, only how she saw her father…Trina was her father’s legacy. Laura asked Robert whether there was any other option to delay Cyrus’ release. Carly comforted Sonny who was upset he was unable to give his dad what he wanted most which was to go home.

Friday

EPISODE NOTE: General Hospital To Air Repeat Episode Once A Week Through May 22 Amid Coronavirus Production Shutdown (Deadline)

Residents of Port Charles have gathered at General Hospital at Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) invite per Gail Baldwin’s (The late Susan Brown) will. Alexis handed each in attendance an envelope containing a piece of the original blueprint of the hospital from fifty-six years. They were to go to the location from the blueprint where they’d find another envelope. Laura (Genie Francis) greeted her mother Dr. Leslie Webber (Denise Alexander), who later traded barbs with Monica (Leslie Charleson) as they looked for their envelopes. Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) ended up at a the photo memorial and found their envelopes by Dr. Tony Jones’ photo. Felicia expressed her gratitude for the gift Tony and Bobbie gave Maxie (Kristen Storms): BJ’s heart. Scott (Kin Shriner) talked with Franco (Roger Howarth) about fathers and sons taking time to spend together. Lucy (Lynn Herring) came across her old wardrobe from The Nurse’s Ball. She decided to donate the items and money raised for the sale to the ball itself. She found an old handkerchief belonging to Alan and remembered the time Alan opened the ball with a song from Cinderella that made all the ladies there feel like princesses. She added that Monica was Alan’s queen and apologized for being young, greedy and stupid by taking Alan from Monica. In the hospital chapel, Laura and Sonny (Maurice Benard) reminiscence about the first time they met “I think you are a good guy in a bad guy’s clothes,” Laura said. Sonny smiled as he walked by the plague for The Stone Cates Memorial Wing. Bobbie helped Elizabeth find her envelope. Nurse Spencer said she was proud of the kind of nurse Elizabeth became as she knew Audrey was. Next, Bobbie ran into Carly, whose envelope was in the pediatric wing where the donation was made on Michael’s (Chad Duell) behalf. Carly told Bobbie she (Carly) was pregnant. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) told Lucy there wasn’t a chance for them to get back together because he still loved Laura. Elizabeth thanked both Bobbie and Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) for helping to make her a good nurse. Once everyone have found their envelopes, they all gathered at the nurse’s station where Alexis instructed them to open their envelopes. Surprisingly, they contained confetti which Franco tossed in the air. Alexis read a letter from Gail, who apologized for having them participate in a scavenger hunt for confetti. The letter explained how Gail wanted everyone to come together to remember how important General Hospital was to them. Scott walked to Gail’s photo in the portrait gallery and removed the black cover. Then viewers got a retrospective of scenes from General Hospital’s past 56 years featuring some of the characters who appeared on the anniversary episode like Monica, Leslie, Laura, Scott, Mac, Felicia, Lucy, Kevin, Sonny and Carly. Happy Anniversary General Hospital…here’s to the next 56 years!
