A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Jax (Ingo Radmachner) bought Nina (Cynthia Watros) flowers and asked her to dinner at The Metro Court. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was surprised when Laura (Genie Francis) sat down at the bar because he was expecting Lulu (Emme Rylan). At Kelly’s, Lulu told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) collaborating with Dustin (Mark Lawson) won’t be the same as last time. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) arrived at Anna’s (Finola Huges) to help with Violet’s birthday goodie bags. It reminded her of the time she and Liesl (Kathleen Gati) spent planning James’ birthday party. At the PCPD jail, Robert (Tristan Rogers) told Liesl she was being transferred to The Hague to stand trial. Anna suggested Maxie go see Liesl for closure. Liesl wanted Robert to talk with the WSB in support of her innocence. Nina told Jax it was possible Nelle (Chloe Lanier) wanted her child. Laura told Valentin she deleted the text from Lulu’s phone because she didn’t want her daughter to talk with him. Laura told Valentin that Ava and Nina would be testifying in Lulu’s custody case. Lulu and Brook Lynn almost came too blows again when Ms. Spencer thought Brook Lynn was taking another dig at her and accusing her of driving Dante away. Valentin told Laura he wanted to talk with Lulu about dropping her custody case and them resuming sharing joint custody. Nina wonders whether she was more like Nelle than anyone thought. Peter assured Anna he’d to anything he can to keep the life he had. Liesl realized Scorpio planned to have Peter think he wasn’t looking for evidence against him so August would let his guard down. Maxie arrived at the PCPD jail and told Liesl she didn’t come for any more of her excuses, she came to say goodbye. Peter told Anna that Britt left town because she got a job at a hospital in Boston. Maxie told Liesl that Britt left town. She added that Liesl didn’t have to lose her entire family if she pleaded guilty. After Lulu left Kelly’s, Dustin accused Brook Lynn of provoking Lulu. Laura commented that maybe Lulu was right and Charlotte was better off without Valentin. Nina told Jax that if Nelle didn’t deserve to be a mother, neither did she because of her past mistakes. Peter told Anna that Britt has helped him get things straight in his head about Faison. Anna told Peter he was so much more than his father and she couldn’t be prouder. Liesl swore on Nathan’s memory she never do anything to take her away from James and begged her not to cut her out of her and James’ life. Brook Lynn told Dustin the story of how Carly (Laura Wright) hired her to break up Lulu and Dante after they got Michael (Chad Duell) sent to prison as a teenager. Nina commented that sometimes she things when Jax looks at her he only see what he wants to see. Valentin asked Laura to broker the truth so he and Lulu could co-exist as Charlotte’s parents. Jax and Nina shared a romantic dance in her office at Crimson. Valentin walked away when Lulu arrived at The Metro Court bar. Lulu commented how she couldn’t make Dante’s special french toast for Rocco because Dante never shared the secret ingredient with her. Robert watched with sympathy as Liesl fell to the jail cell floor in tears when Maxie said goodbye. Anna told Peter thirty children, their parents and Robert would be at the party. Jax and Nina’s dance ended in a kiss. Lulu worried about Rocco because he wasn’t sharing his feelings with her about his dad being gone. Dustin told Brook Lynn that great songwriting came from honesty. Maxie returned to Anna’s and sought comfort in Peter’s arms. Robert asked Liesl’s whether she thought she could beat the charges against her. “No prison can keep me from justice. Peter will suffer for his crimes and I will get my family back,” Liesl vowed.

Tuesday

Anna (Finola Hughes) was surprised to learn Finn (Michael Easton) brought Violet a pony for her birthday. Violet’s pony is named Fletcher. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) told Peter (Wes Ramsey) that she had to deal with “Hurricane Lulu” won’t be happy Ms. Jones is now working for Deception. In addition to Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) war for Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) told Chase (Josh Swickward) about one of the children she reads to, Steven, who is a cancer patient being moved to hospice. It reminded her that she wasn’t Wiley’s mother and didn’t have a say in his medical discussions. At GH, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Michael (Chad Duell) talked about the plan to marry Willow to help him have a better footing in the custody case. But Michael didn’t know how he feels about coming between Chase and Willow. Sasha received a text from Chase that he needed to see her. Nelle (Chloe Lanier) cornered Valentin at The Metro Court. When she hinted she could become an enemy of his if he didn’t want them to be friends (or more than friends), Valentin reminded if those documents he helped forge for her came to light her secrets would be revealed. He added he sympathized with Michael as a father trying to protect his son from her. And Nelle shouldn’t force Valentin to chose sides because he didn’t like her much to begin with. “So don’t piss me off,” Valentin warned Nelle. Peter arrived at Anna’s for Violet’s party. Robert (Tristan Rogers) asked Peter’s help in making sure balloons didn’t end up on the ceiling. “You called me Peter, is that a sign?” Peter asked Robert. Maxie met with Lulu at The Metro Court and told her she would be working with Valentin at Deception. Michael told Willow he talked with Diane (Carolyn Hennssey) and they moved the custody hearing up to next week. Robert told Peter there wasn’t evidence proving August was guilty so he was willing to accept he was wrong. He suggested they mutually co-exist. Valentin warned Nelle to stay out of his way. Nelle was annoyed he decided to go the enemy route. Chase realized Sasha wanted to get Wiley away from his psycho mother more than she wanted him for herself. Maxie assured Lulu it wasn’t like she and Valentin would become friends by her working at Deceptions. Plus, Valentin was just an investor and if he could do for Deception what he did for Cassadine Industries, the company would be successful. Peter called someone on the phone and said “Scorpio may still be a problem” and asked for the next phase of the plan to be put into motion. Sasha told Chase how she only moved in with Michael because of Nelle and they were no where near talking about marriage and children. Willow told Michael she’d do whatever he needed to keep Wiley safe from Nelle. Lulu told Maxie how Valentin gave Charlotte unlimited access to his credit card in order to come across as the better parent. Chase told Sasha they had to keep Wiley from Nelle.

Wednesday

Violet’s birthday party was in full swing. Chase (Josh Swickward) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) arrive. When Violet took Willow to see the pony, Chase commented to his brother Finn (Michael Easton) “Who knew you could be so much fun?” At the Corinthos house, Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) continued to discuss strategy against Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) hid in a corner and talked to the snake she brought to stir up the party. Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) arrived at Sonny’s. He told Ava his bodyguard would take her to Violet’s party. But Nikolas was staying there so he and Sonny could talk. Peter (Wes Ramsey) asked Maxie (Kirstin Storms) how things went when she told Lulu (Emme Rylan) about working with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Lulu suggested Charlotte as the horse expert give the other children some pointers. Sonny told Nikolas how close he (Sonny) and Spencer were that Cassadine’s son calls or texts every night to talk. Sonny called Nikolas a coward for abandoning his son and warned him to stay away from the people he cared about, especially Carly. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) asked Robert (Tristan Rogers) whether he heard anything new about Dante. Jason came to warn Anna that Cyrus Renault was targeting those in law enforcement to get dirty on them to use against them in blackmail. Danny was surprised to see his dad and asked Jason to stay for the party. Jason told his son he couldn’t but asked him to promise he’d (Danny) be the man of the house and take care of his mom and little sister. Charlotte was rude to Ava because she (Charlotte), her papa Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Charlotte’s horse butterscotch were no longer able to live at Wyndemere. Finn remembered when he first met Hayden (Rebecca Budig), learned she was pregnant, Rachel Berlin, wrote she had a miscarriage and when he met Violet and learned she was his daughter. Charlotte had big plans for her snake…did those plans involve the unicorn piñata?

Thursday

Jason (Steve Burton) told Danny because he had to take consequences for his actions he couldn’t be with them for awhile. “Take care of your mom and Scout,” Jason asked Danny. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) commented to Chase (Josh Swickward) how being a parent changes your life. Jason called Sonny (Maurice Benard) and told him Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) contacted him and wanted to meet.At GH, Michael (Chad Duell) commented to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) how he wish Diane could use the “Nelle is a demon” in his custody to illustrate how dangerous she is for Wiley. Robert (Tristan Rogers) told Maxie (Kirsten Storms) how he couldn’t see what she saw in Peter. Before leaving Violet’s party, Robert asked Olivia to create a cover for him if someone asked whether she saw him and he’d owe her one. Olivia agreed to help. At the Corinthos house, Sonny and Jason again discussed Renault. Ava suggested Charlotte come over to Wyndemere so Avery could watch her ride. Then, Charlotte yelled at Aiden to get him from not touching the pinata. While Maxie remembered moments she spent with Peter (Wes Ramsey) as their romance developed, Robert (Tristan Rogers) searched their place to uncover what “Henrik” was hiding. Ava told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) how lonely Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) was because of the things he’s done. Chase told Willow the decision to marry Michael was hers. Reminding his mother Carly and Sasha how good Nelle was at playing the victim caused Michael to think of times when she’s done so. As he continued searching the bedroom for evidence against Peter, someone turned the doorknob. Anna (Finola Hughes) spun Violet around so she could choose who’d pull the string of the piñata. Violet was the last child to take a turn and all the candy fell to the floor. Ava thought the scene was cute and reached into her purse to get her phone to take a photo. Charlotte smiled when Ava screamed as the snake slithered out.
