A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Tuesday

Anna (Finola Hughes) came to Pentonville to visit Jason (Steve Burton). Carly (Laura Wright) and Laura (Genie Francis) rushed out of the Corinthos house. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) tried to explain to Hilda she wasn’t calling her crazy, then offered an apology. Hilda said Alexis probably wouldn’t talk so much if she didn’t have any teeth. Jordan (Briana Henry) told Taggert (Réal Andrews) she had to meet up with Curtis (Donnell Turner) to discuss their divorce. Trina (Sydney Mikayla) came to see Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Cyrus (Jeff Kober) told Martin (Michael E. Knight) he was expecting good news and wanted him there when he received it. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) gave the order for Colonel Jackson and his men to move in. Josslyn told Trina that Southern Coastal University waitlisted her. Taggert said he was sorry things didn’t work out between her and Curtis and apologized for his part in it. When Curtis entered the restaurant where Cyrus and Martin were dining, Cyrus told his brother since Ashford was staying at The Metro Court his marriage to Jordan must be on the rocks. Another prisoner named Steph stopped Hilda from pounding Alexis. After Hilda walked away, Alexis thanked Steph who simply said “That’s what they pay me for.” Anna told Jason it was her fault he was in prison because she defended Peter (Wes Ramsey). Anna said she had a plan in place to stop Peter but it was put on hold. Jason realized Peter had something on Anna. She told Jason she still intended to make sure Peter spent the rest of his life in prison. And if she failed in that endeavor, she’d eliminate him. Anna asked Jason to convince Carly to back down and not to anything. Jason said he’d try but reminded in the end, Carly would do what she wanted. Colonel Jackson told Nikolas the target was locked in the panic room of the house. Carly and Laura entered. Carly announced she gave her men the heads up because Laura told her what Nikolas was doing. Nikolas said he wasn’t willing to risk Alexis’ safety while she was in Pentonville. Both Carly and Laura worried for Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) and Florence’s safety. Nikolas said either they surrendered Florence or his men took her by force. Carly gave the order for her men to stand down, open the door to the panic room and give the other men Florence’s medication. Before storming out Carly said Nikolas played right into Cyrus’ hands so she hoped he’d enjoy doing Renault’s bidding. And Laura added that Nikolas was starting to become the old Nikolas again, the boy she loved but he hadn’t. Nikolas thought Ava (Maura West) would join in with the others in criticizing his actions but she continued to support his choices. Cameron (William Lipton) came over and Trina left. When he told her he still believed Jason killed Franco, Cam asked Josslyn whether they could still be friends. Taggert promised his daughter he’d do what he could to make it to Trina’s graduation. Cyrus taunted Curtis about his separation from Jordan. Curtis lied that he’d seen Renault’s mother and Florence spend the entire time raving about her son Martin. When Cyrus called Curtis out on his lie, Ashford said he wanted to see how it felt to be him by trying to hurt others. Jordan arrived and pulled her husband away. Alexis’ cellmate told her that Steph was one of Renault’s people. Remembering Nikolas said he made arrangements to keep her safe while she was in Pentonville, Alexis wondered what her nephew was giving Cyrus in exchange for her safety. Cyrus got the call about Florence and announced to Martin “Mother’s coming home.” Carly visited Jason in Pentonville. From the look on her face, Morgan knew that meant she lost Florence their leverage against Cyrus. Carly told Jason they had to act now.

Wednesday

Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) gave Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) a cowboy hat to help his look for the Firehouse Dance. Nina (Cynthia Watros) arrived with Elijiah and liked Mike in the hat. They almost kissed but were interrupted by Elijiah. Scott (Kin Shriner) came to see Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Cameron (William Lipton) asked Josslyn (Eden McCoy) whether they could still be friends. Cameron reminded her how he’s been there for her but she couldn’t be there for him because he believed Jason (Steve Burton) killed Franco. Jax (Ingo Radmacher) entered as Cameron stormed out. Josslyn told her dad how she and Cameron were arguing about Jason killing Franco. Carly told Jason with Florence gone they had nothing to hold over Cyrus (Jeff Kober) to keep him from starting a mob war. She said she tried it his way but now she was doing things her way because she wouldn’t lose him. Finn (Michael Easton) was frustrated because the lab couldn’t give him answers on Chase’s (Josh Swickward) tests. Portia (Brooke Kerr) reminded Finn how parents don’t treat their children because they can’t function effectively as doctors. She warned if he forced her hand by not stepping back from Chase’s case, she’d have to report him to Dr. Westbourne (Kelly Thiebauld). Michael (Chad Duell) came to visit Chase and found Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) sitting at his bedside. When she left the room, Chase said she started to tell him something before he passed out and asked whether Michael knew what it was. Michael told Chase about breaking up with Sasha. Elizabeth offered Finn support as he worried over Chase’s condition. Willow and Michael felt like cowards for not telling Chase the truth about their relationship. Peter (Wes Ramsey) offered to give Anna (Finola Hughes) the antidote if she arranged for a private meeting with Maxie (Kristen Storms) with him at the place they shared. He threw the vial on the floor and crushed it beneath her shoes and warned time was running out. Anna looked at the spilled solution on the floor. She later told Finn she knew what was wrong with Chase. Jax and Scott convince Cameron and Josslyn not to let a disagreement destroy their friendship. Carly received a phone call that the first part of her plan was done. Jason was surprised to see his new cellmate and saw it was Sean Butler. He asked who was responsible for setting that up. Mike/Sonny asked Elijah why he was keeping what he did in California a secret from Lenny and Phyllis. Jax arrived at the Firehouse Dance looking for Nina.

Thursday

Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) something in his gut told him Elijah couldn’t be trusted. Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) introduced Lenny to Jax (Ingo Radmacher) who asked whether Nina was still in Nixon Falls. Jordan (Briana Henry) told Carly (Laura Wright) now that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) had his mother back. Carly had to let her (Jordan) do her job. “Who set this up?” Jason (Steve Burton) asked Sean (Sean Blakemore) when Butler entered his cell. Sean wanted to know the same thing. Maxie (Kristen Storms) wore a disguise when she came to visit Nathan’s grave. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) visited Chase (Josh Swickward). Anna (Finola Hughes) told Finn (Michael Easton) that Peter (Wes Ramsey) poisoned Chase. Phyllis told Jax to leave Nina alone because he broke her heart. When he heard Mike/Sonny telling Nina about his past embezzlement charge, Elijah said he settled the case and left California because he wanted a fresh start. Michael (Chad Duell) told Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) he felt guilty wanting Chase to get better so she could tell him the truth about them. Anna told Finn how poisoning Chase was an accident as Peter meant to poison Finn as leverage against her for going after him. Anna gave Finn the vial shards so he could recreate the antidote. Anna told Finn he couldn’t go to the police if he wanted Chase to live. Brook Lynn left Chase’s room when Dante arrived. Dante asked how Chase was doing. Maxie talked with Nathan at his grave and told him what happened at the wedding. She said Peter didn’t exist…he was Henrik all along. Nina made a slip by telling Mike/Sonny he couldn’t judge Elijah after everything he’s done. Sean told Jason with Sonny gone power has shifted to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and the men inside who were looked out because of him had to now look out for themselves. Carly told Jordan she had to give her a reason why she should back off. Nina covered her slip of the tongue by saying because Mike/Sonny couldn’t remember his past he was in no position to judge. Willow reminded Michael how Chase and Sasha (Katelyn MacMuellen) did what they thought was best for them. So they had to do what was best for Chase by not telling him the truth about them until he was back on his feet. Nina panicked when she saw Jax. She asked Lenny and Phyllis to go find Mike because he and Elijah were getting into it again. After they left, Nina told Jax he being there would ruin everything. Maxie told Nathan how she should have listened to everyone who told her she was attracted to Peter because he was his brother. She added how he’d be proud of his sister because she’s stepped up to help him. Jordan vowed to Carly she’d take care of Cyrus. Sean told Jason if he had to do something about Cyrus Renault he’d handle it himself. Nina said Jax should have stayed away. Phyllis told Mike/Sonny she decided to give Elijah the time he needed to come to her with the truth about what happened in California. Nina refused to go somewhere alone with Jax to talk. Dante left when Willow appeared. Suddenly, Chase grabbed his leg. Anna told Finn how Peter was too busy with Maxie so Finn had time to work on the antidote. When she offered to find out where Peter could be storing it locally, Finn angrily said “How about you stay out of it.” Carly and Jordan told each other to watch their back. Sean told the guard Morgan came after him and he had to protect himself. Jason was on the floor with a stab wound. Finn ordered Anna to stay out of it. Maxie told Nathan she had to keep her daughter safe by giving her up and pretending she was dead. Olivia (Lisa LoCiciero) watched from the cemetery entrance. Chase told Willow his pain came in stages. But seeing her face made him feel better. Finn angrily said he let Anna into his life and now her family has literally poisoned him. Now he has to pray he’ll be able to come up with an antidote for the toxic her nephew created. Sean called Carly on the phone and said “He’s on his way to the hospital.” “Thank you…I’ll take it from here” Carly replied.

Friday

Cyrus (Jeff Kober) approached Carly (Laura Wright) at GH and smirked now that his mother is back and he’s not preoccupied worrying about her, he had free time to spare. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) asked Michael (Chad Duell) about him and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) was surprised to see Jason (Steve Burton) wheeled into GH. He told her he was stabbed. The warden at Pentonville answered Jordan’s (Briana Henry) questions about Jason Morgan’s stabbing. She was surprised to see Sean (Sean Blakemore) committed the deed and asked why. He said Morgan came at him with a shiv and he was defending himself. Then, they talked about how Jordan kept the truth he was TJ’s (Taj Bellows) father from him. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) asked Curtis (Donnell Turner) where Nina (Cynthia Watros) was but Ashford refused to tell him. Nina agreed to go talk with Jax (Ingo Radmacher) but only if they did it in his car. A man pulled a gun on Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) and demanded the money in the cash box. Another gun toting man approached Jax and Nina. Jax and the man struggled for the gun. The distraction gave Sonny the chance to overpower his thug. Molly (Haley Pullos) told TJ she wanted to become a DA in order to prevent criminal wrongs from happening. Martin (Michael E. Knight) told Laura (Genie Francis) the way to get to Cyrus may be to use the family connection as being part of a family is his weakness. Carly walked in on Jason touching Britt’s hand and assuring everything will be okay. The women exchanged snipes. Britt told them how tests on one of her young patients revealed a drug in his system similar to the one Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) had taken. She left the room to verify the comparison. Jason argued with Carly for arranging for Sean to stab him in order to get him out of Pentonville. She wanted him to hide out in one of Sonny’s safe houses until they got Gladys to recant her statement. Cyrus came behind Britt as she reviewed the information for his drug. Curtis told Laura he and Jordan were divorcing. Martin and Valentin arrived at the Quartermaine mansion to discuss Cassadine’s parental rights to Brook Lynn’s baby. He wanted to be at the hospital in Bensonhurst when she gave birth, agreeing not to be in the delivery room. She accepted his terms but only if he signed over his ELQ shares. Valentin said he would but after his child was born. Nina realized Jax was shot in the shoulder and was upset. She said she wasn’t angry with him anymore. Mike/Sonny went to check whether Nina was okay after the attempted robbers were arrested. As the paramedics worked on him, a semi-conscious Jax glanced up and saw Sonny. Mike/Sonny wondered why the man pointed at it.
