A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Jordan (Briana Henry) asked Curtis (Donnell Turner) to come home. Curtis said he couldn’t and didn’t know whether he couldn’t forgive her. Curtis reminded she keeps things from him because she still operates as an ‘I’ not an ‘us.’ “T.J. I made a horrible mistake…I slept with someone else” Molly (Haley Pullos) confessed. She explained it happened after she turned down his marriage proposal and seemed to ignore her calls and texts. When TJ asked the man’s identity, Molly admitted it was Brando (Johnny Wactor). That explained why she always acted weird around Corbin. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) told Michael (Chad Duell) how nice it was of him inviting Lucas over for Christmas. Maxie (Kristen Storms) commented to Peter (Wes Ramsey) how hard it is celebrating when so many are suffering. They decided to call their baby daughter Lulu. Scott (Kin Shriner) and Franco (Roger Howath) snuck Liesl (Kathleen Gati) into GH. She planned to access Franco’s scans in order to help treat him. Franco was glad Liesl didn’t try to kill him as he doesn’t have many friends and glad he didn’t lose her. Liesl reminded she had to stay hidden because if Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) knew she was back she’d trump up another charge. Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) decided to continue working with Jason (Steve Burton) to keep drugs out of Port Charles. Chase (Josh Swickward) arrived at the Corinthos house and told Carly (Laura Wright) a body identified as Julian Jerome (William deVry) with bullet holes was pulled out of the river in NJ. And as security footage from the bus station showed Sonny (Maurice Benard) following Julian to the bridge that collapsed, Chase stated it was more than likely Sonny didn’t survive. When Jason arrived, Chase asked him questions about what happened at the bus station. But in true Morgan fashioned, Jason advised the detective to contact his attorney. After Chase left, Michael said he’d use the Corinthos name to help in the search for his dad. Terry told Cameron (William Lipton) that Dev (Ashton Arbab) would want him to live his life. When Jordan returned home, TJ told her about Molly sleeping with someone else and blamed his mother for knowing Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was responsible for his kidnapping but for keeping it a secret. Later, TJ met up with Molly and said he didn’t want them to be over but they needed to take one day at a time to see where they were. Maxie invited Britt to celebrate Christmas with her and Peter. Liesl witnessed a hug between her daughter and Peter and vowed August better enjoy his Christmas because next year would be different.

Tuesday

At the Annual Polar Bear Dive, Chase (Josh Swickward) ran into Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). Gregory (Gregory Harrison) appeared. When Chase introduced him to Willow, Gregory was pleased to meet his son’s girlfriend but was told they’d broken up. Finn (Michael Easton) told Anna (Finola Hughes) some truths are better left unsaid so he’s decided not to reveal the secret of his affair with Jackie (Kim Delaney). Jason (Steve Burton) ran into Brando (Johnny Wactor) and told Corbin that with Sonny (Maurice Benard) missing, Cyrus (Jeff Kober) will try to make contact. Cyrus approached Laura (Genie Francis) at The Metro Court. Laura told him she’d never forgive him for what he did to Lulu (Emme Rylan). Jackie arrived so she and Laura got a table to catch up. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) asked Jason about Sonny.They talked about Chase and Dante being former partners at the PCPD. Laura told Jackie that Cyrus was Lulu’s uncle. Jackie wrongly assumed Renault was Luke’s (Tony Geary) brother. Jackie suggested Laura get in control of the narrative by allowing Jackie to release her expose. Cyrus and Laura’s sibling connection. Carly (Laura Wright) had a dream that Sonny survived the fall off the bridge and plunged into the water. When Dante and Jason arrived at the Corinthos house, Falconieri asked whether Sonny’s family was vulnerable with him gone. He offered to help Jason protect them. But Morgan said he had it covered. Gregory couldn’t believe Chase and Willow broke up because Chase lied to her since he raised them to always tell the truth. Chase thanked Finn for encouraging him to come clean with Willow. Cyrus told Brando how Corbin’s mother Gladys admitted he wasn’t really Dev’s father. Renault warned Brando and the entire Corinthos family would go down for shelter an illegal alien should anything happen to him. Laura came to see Carly to offer her support over the missing Sonny. Mayor Collins also encouraged Carly to fight back against Cyrus. Meanwhile, Cyrus met with Jason on the pier.

Wednesday

Jackie (Kim Delaney) came to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and commented she missed a lot while she was away. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) told Finn (Michael Easton) if he had any doubts on the type of father he was to Violet, he need look no further then how paternity he’s been to Chase. Gregory added he was proud of Chase. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) interrupted. She admitted she’d been drinking and told Gregory how she and Finn slept together and he didn’t even die. Finn insisted he take her to GH to get stitches for the cut on her hand. Laura (Genie Francis) told Carly (Laura Wright) she was Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) weak spot. Laura explained how she was Cyrus and Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) half-sister through their biological father Gordon Grey. She told Carly about Florence Grey being at Mountain Landing Long Care and posing as a patient to gain access. At The Metro Court, Tracy (Jane Elliott) told Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) she had the makings of a Quartermaine matriarch. Jackie realized Anna knew the truth about her and Finn. Jason (Steve Burton) met with Cyrus on the pier. Renault said unless Sonny (Maurice Benard), Jason was a man of a few words and didn’t let family sentimentality make his business decisions. Cyrus suggested a partnership with Jason making a fifteen percent share of the profits for allowing Renault to run his product through the territory. Jason declined saying Sonny was still in charge and resumed having final say upon his return. Morgan added he already took out Renault’s sniper. In that case, he has to eliminate Jason himself. Cyrus pulled out his gun. Then Brando (Johnny Wactor) appeared and drew his gun on Jason. Carly’s arrival with more Corinthos men stopped things from escalating. Jason told Carly to leave then ordered Brando and Cyrus to get on the ground. He warned he’d kill them if they came after him again. After Jason left, Cyrus berated Brando for not taking Morgan out. He is reminded that if he’d been killed his lawyer would have given the information of Dev’s forged identity papers to the Feds and Brando, Jason and the Corinthos clan would be arrested. Jackie told Gregory that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) invited her to Anna and Finn’s wedding as his plus one. Ned (Wally Kurth) came to GH (Finn texted him about Alexis’ injury) and told Alexis he didn’t want her drinking to cause her to slip out (and reveal they slept together). Laura found Cyrus drinking scotch at The Metro Court. He told her he had a business meeting that went awry. She asked for them to work together to keep violence out of Port Charles. They decided to schedule a meeting to discuss the matter further. Jason was angry with Carly for showing up at his meeting with Cyrus. He said he knew it was an ambush. But her arrival prevented him from taking out Renault. Now he knew Cyrus would retaliate. Carly assured she handled it. Cyrus received a call from Mountain Landing and angrily told Brando “They have my mother.”

Thursday

General Hospital airs encore episode from September 17, 2020:

Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Mike (Max Gail) whatever he did to him as a child he’s more than made up for it. He also told his father his mother never stopped loving him and was waiting for him. After his night with Ava (Maura West), Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) woke up in bed alone and asked “Why did I do that?” He found Ava outside with Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). The little girl had a nightmare so mother and daughter were trying to catch fireflies. Avery asked Nikolas to come with her when she was put back to bed. At Kelly’s, Diane (Carolyn Hennessey) reminded Alexis (Nancy Grahan) she had eaten anything all day. Ned (Wally Kurth) left a voicemail for Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) saying he was getting worried because he hadn’t heard from her. Sonny imagined Mike buying him a bike then the two of them visiting Sonny’s mother grave. Mike asked Sonny why he was remembering things that never happened between them. The fantasy ended and Sonny said he knew Mike was still holding on to protect him so he continued to urge him to let go. Sonny left his father’s room so Mike could go without worrying about having to say goodbye. Mike then saw his daughter Courtney (Alicia Willis). Olivia created a diversion for Robert (Tristan Rogers) by going to the game table where a good looking man sat next to her: It was Holly’s (Emma Samms) son Ethan (Nathan Parsons). She commented how being at a casino was a strange way to honor his mother. Olivia told Ethan that Robert was there at the casino trying to learn the truth about Holly because he believed she was still alive. Robert tried to get into a guarded back room. When he came back, Scorpio was surprised to see Holly’s son. Ethan punched Robert. At The Bistro, Chase (Josh Swickward) suggested Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) accept her father’s support. But she said Ned was feeling pity and guilt. Ned showed up at Kelly’s. When Alexis winched when he touched her wrist, Diane urged her to see a doctor. After Diane left, Alexis wondered whether she was blind to Neil (Joe Flanigan) using drugs. Ned suggested she get her coffee to go and they take a walk in the park. When Alexis attempted to pick up her coffee cup, it slipped from her grip and fell to the floor. Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny returned to Mike’s room. Mike’s spirit thanked Sonny and asked him to remember him, not as the man in the bed but as a man who came to him for help. Then he took Courtney’s hand and they went into the light. Sonny leaned in close to his dad and told Carly that Mike was gone. Sonny stayed with Mike while Carly gave the family the sad news. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) stepped outside for some air. Michael (Chad Duell) wanted to go back to Mike’s room to be there for Sonny. But first he called Brook Lynn to give her the news of Mike’s passing. After Ethan punched Robert, they found themselves handcuffed together to a chair. Ethan told Scorpio the punch was part of a plan to get them taken to the backroom. Using his Spencer lockpicking skills, Ethan picked the lock to the cuffs. But the men found themselves facing the barrel of Roger’s gun. Carly called Ava to tell her about Mike’s death. She said Sonny wanted his children together so Ava said she’d bring Avery home first thing in the morning. She asked Carly to tell Sonny that he didn’t have to worry about Avery and to also give her condolences. Michael told Sonny he learned everything about being a father from Mike and Sonny. Sonny said Michael would be a better father than either of them ever were.
