A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Lenny found Sonny (Maurice Benard) fixing a wobbly table after doing more cleaning around the bar. He asked Mike/Sonny whether he was up all night when Sonny was surprised to learn it was morning already. Lenny called Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) and told her he needed her there right away…it was about Mike. Carly (Laura Wright) was lost in moments of Sonny when someone arrived at the door. It was Bobbie (Jackie Zeman). Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) talked about Carly coming over to discuss Avery’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) visitation schedule. Nikolas reminded his wife not to let Carly strong arm her as Avery should be living with her mother and stepfather. She assured Florence was being looked after while Bobbie was there. Carly told her mother she had something to tell her mother about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) spoke with Martin (Michael E. Knight) on the phone and told him he’s working on a lead to find Grey’s mother. Valentin then told Jax (Ingo Radmacher) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) about his attorney Martin Grey’s mother being abducted by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and how Carly probably knows about it. He revealed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was Martin’s mother. Jax insisted he knew nothing about Florence’s abduction. After Valentin left, Nina said Valentin was trying to drive a wedge between them. She added Valentin was trying to prove to her Jax’s first loyalty is and always will be to Carly. Carly told Bobbie about Nelle being Nina’s daughter and about the necklace. She asked Bobbie to come with her to Wyndemere with her when she went to see Ava. While Carly was talking with Ava about Avery’s visitation, Bobbie would sneak upstairs, find the necklace and replace it with one Nina couldn’t connect to her daughter (Nelle) if she saw Avery wearing it. Before signing the annulment papers, both Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) spent quality time with Wiley while thinking about how their relationship has developed. While with Maxie (Kristen Storms) at The Metro Court, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was accosted by a reporter wanting a statement about Ms. Gilmore’s drug use. After chasing the reporter away, Maxie told Sasha she needed to get in front of the narrative by telling her story. To that end, Sasha later asked Chase (Josh Swickward) to introduce her to his mother so Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) could write Sasha’s story. Watching Mike/Sonny over cleaning, Lenny commented what was wrong with him probably wasn’t physical but mental as he appeared to be manic. Martin met Jackie, told her he was Cyrus Renault’s brother and asked the investigative journalist to do a piece on their mother’s abduction to force Jason Morgan to return the woman. Later, Valentin told his attorney that was a bad move. He told him Jason Morgan didn’t care about public opinion and couldn’t be intimidated. However, Valentin had a close source to Carly that could help get Martin’s mother back. Nina was assured nothing Valentin did could separate her and Jax now that they’ve declared their feelings for one another. Carly and Bobbie arrived at Wyndemere. Bobbie excused herself to go freshen code (Code for search for the necklace). Nikolas ended up leaving Ava and Carly alone to talk. When Carly received a text from her mom saying she couldn’t find the necklace, Carly told Ava she had a problem with Ava’s husband. When Bobbie returned, Carly said she needed a minute before she said something she regretted. In truth, Carly wanted to search for the necklace. Chase told his mother about what he and Sasha did to help Michael keep his son. Jackie agreed to consider writing the article on Sasha’s drug story. But warned Ms. Gilmore that she wouldn’t hold any punches in the piece. Willow and Michael signed the annulment papers. Phyllis suggested Mike/Sonny return to the clinic with her to get checked out. Sonny overheard Phyllis telling Lenny that Mike may have Bipolar Disorder. Later, Phyllis told Lenny that Mike was gone. While Bobbie was keeping Ava occupied by trying to convince her they could be the adults and work out Avery’s visitation, Carly found the necklace in Avery’s dollhouse. But before she could switch it with the one she brought, Carly was startled by a noise. Would she be caught?

Tuesday

Portia (Brook Kerr) witnessed an altercation between Curtis (Donnell Turner) and a man who rushed him to finish with the punching bag. At The Metro Court, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan discussed Anna and Finn’s (Michael Easton) wedding. Jordan commented how she wasn’t the person to ask about marriage when she was having problems on her own. When Finn overheard Jackie (Kim Delaney) requesting Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) medical records, he asked why. Jackie explained she was doing a story on Sasha and needed them. And that the story was Sasha’s idea. Their conversation shifted to Chase’s (Josh Swickward) paternity. Finn learned Jackie never had a paternity test done to rule him out as Chase’s father. Jackie insisted it was more than likely Gregory (Gregory Harrison) was Harry’s father and the father he’s been was all she needed to know. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) told Michael (Chad Duell) she was going to start looking at apartments. But they decided they’ll have their own separate traditions with Wiley. After Willow left, Sasha came over and told Michael about her interview with Jackie Templeton. Ms. Gilmore promised not to let the story of her drug use and recovery hurt him and Willow. Michael assured her they’d be okay but worried the pressure from going public may cause Sasha to start using again. He also told her they signed the annulment papers. Willow ran into Chase at Volonino’s. Chase told her about Sasha’s interview with his mom. He learned about Willow and Michael signing the annulment papers and that Willow was thinking about attending nursing school. Jax (Ingo Radmacher) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) made love. Finn told Anna he needed her help to prove whether Chase was his son. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) caught Carly (Laura Wright) with Avery’s necklace and brought her downstairs. Carly liked she wanted the necklace in order to have another made for Donna so the sisters would have two halves of a heart. Ava wasn’t buying it. Nikolas threatens to call the police. But Ava just ordered Carly out of her house. Curtis came to The Metro Court to pick up his takeout. Jordan asked him to come home with her but he said he couldn’t because he couldn’t get over her lying to him. Liesl told Dante that Franco had to be protected at all costs. Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) and Carly came to see Jax. While Bobbie assured Nina that Carly respected her relationship with Jax, Carly was telling her ex husband about the necklace fiasco and how she feels like she’s in a fog after losing Sonny (Maurice Benard) and everything else. Nikolas asked Ava whether she was curious about what Carly was up to. Ava said she didn’t care about Carly’s antics because she had everything she wanted.

Wednesday

Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) she’s being interviewed by Jackie Templeton (Kim Delany) on GMA3. Sam (Kelly Monaco) came to her mother’s house and found Alexis (Nancy Grahan) drinking. Alexis said she was celebrating the fact she wasn’t the drunk driver Tracy (Jane Elliott) made her out to be. Jason (Steve Burton) came to The Metro Court and told Carly (Laura Wright) they had to make their position clear with The Five Family that he was in charge. And the way to do that was to first have Sonny (Maurice Benard) declared legally dead and then to have a funeral. When Jason said it would keep her family safe, Carly was forced to agree. Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) brought Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) to GH for a doctor’s appointment. Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) did prenatal yoga with Maxie (Kristen Storms). Maxie told Britt that Peter was working on a big story. Meanwhile at The Invader, Peter (Wes Ramsey) asked to see Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and told him he needed to be aware as head of security of a story that was released and its ramifications for the paper. While Franco (Roger Howath) met with Liesl (Kathleen Gati), they got a text notification of an article published in The Invader saying Baldwin’s tumor was back. Franco took off to get answers from Peter. Sam, Alexis, Britt, Maxie, Carly, Elizabeth, Jason, and Nikolas also received The Invader story notification. Britt confronted her brother about Peter leaking Franco’s medical records for The Invader story. Franco arrived and told Peter the story will have people coming after him. Baldwin warned if Elizabeth or his boys were threatened, August would regret it. Dante had to pull Franco off Peter. Ava brought Avery to The Metro Court to spend time with Carly. Later, Nikolas asked Ava to marry him for real this time. Avery told Carly she let Sasha borrow her good luck charm (the heart necklace) to wear for her interview. Nina saw her daughter’s necklace around Sasha’s neck when she tuned in to watch the interview. Carly panicked.

Thursday

Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) talked about Ashford’s new case of a cheating spouse involving a stakeout of a nightclub. Portia offered to tag along so they’d look like a couple at the club instead of him looking like a PI. Jordan (Temporarily being played by Tiffany Daniels) wanted to talk with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) about his future with the PCPD. Dante wasn’t interested in returning to work as a detective. Jason (Steve Burton) asked Peter (Wes Ramsey) why he was arguing with his sister. Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) warned Peter she wouldn’t be threatened by anyone. She reminded him that it was illegal to post someone’s medical records without permission. Peter assured he covered his tracks and his actions wouldn’t be traced back to her. Before leaving, Britt told Peter brother or not if he did something like that again she wouldn’t only throw him under the bus but she’d be the one driving. Carly (Laura Wright) tried to get Lucy (Lynn Herring) to stop the interview. A state trooper brought Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) back to Lenny and Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) at the bar. The state trooper explained Mike/Sonny was at a hardware store asking the owner for a job and refused to leave when the man wouldn’t hire him. Phyllis asked for Mike/Sonny to be released into their custody. Lenny and Phyllis told Mike/Sonny he could either go to the clinic to be evaluated for a possible mental illness. Or he could be put in a cell by the state trooper. Seeing Sasha wearing a necklace like the one belonging to her daughter, Nina (Cynthia Watros) confronted Ms. Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) after Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) suggested Jackie (Kim Delaney) go with her and Chase (Josh Swickward). Sasha insisted she didn’t look at the necklace wardrobe put on her. Avery told Nina she gave Sasha the necklace and that she found it in the woods. Carly told Jax (Ingo Radmacher) she didn’t know whether she had time to switch the necklace for the fake. Nina asked to borrow it, telling Jax if it matched hers that meant her daughter was in Port Charles. A drunk Alexis (Nancy Grahan) attempted to stick Franco (Roger Howath) with a syringe but ended up jamming it into Dante instead. Later, Jordan arrested Alexis after Sam gave her statement as a witness to the attack.

Friday

Mac (John J. York) interrogated Alexis (Nancy Grahan) in Jordan’s office and angrily told her Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) could die. Tracy (Jane Elliott) spoke with Luke on the phone telling him she couldn’t leave Port Charles until she made things right with Ned (Wally Kurth). Her son returned home looking for his wife. Nina (Cynthia Watros) put the two necklaces together. They fit and Nina realized it belonged to her daughter. Michael (Chad Duell) that Avery (Ava and Grace) told him she found the necklace in a clearing near his family’s cabin. And learning that was where Nelle (Chloe Lanier) took Wiley plus Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) delivered Nina’s baby to Florida (where Nelle was from), Ms. Reeves wondered if Nelle could be her daughter. Alexis explained how she thought Sam (Kelly Monaco) was in danger from Franco (Roger Howath) and stabbing Dante was a mistake. Franco and Jason (Steve Burton) speculated why Dante would risk his life for Franco. Monica (Leslie Charleson) returned home from a medical conference. She learned how Tracy set Alexis up for drunk driving. After Ned left, Monica convinced Tracy to leave town before she was arrested. At GH, Olivia (Lisa LoCiero) learns Alexis stabbed Dante with a syringe. It was Alexis’ birthday and Mac reminded she would be spending it in a holding cell waiting to be arraigned for attempted murder. Olivia prayed with her rosary for a miracle. Ned arrived at the chapel because Robert (Tristan Rogers) texted him not knowing he cheated on Olivia with Alexis. Olivia didn’t want to see Ned so Robert told him to leave. Later, Olivia was relieved when Portia (Brook Kerr) told her Dante got the antidote in time. Once alone, Olivia vowed that drunken slut Alexis would pay. An officer arrived at the Quartermaine mansion with an arrest warrant for Tracy. But Monica told the cop Tracy left the country. The doctor at the clinic ran tests on Mike/Sonny’s blood and found traces of Lithium. She said it was likely he was prescribed it for bipolar disorder. The doctor asked the pharmacy to prepare a small dose prescription for him. Phyllis convinced Mike/Sonny to take the medication. Carly tried to lie she found out last night about Nelle and her connection to the necklace. But Jax (Ingo Radmacher) was determined to tell Nina the truth.
