A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Anna (Finola Hughes) thanked Peter (Wes Ramsey) for coming back and told him they changed their minds about his deal. He smirked and said the deal was off the table the moment he left. “What are you going to do Valentin? Shoot me in front of Anna Devane, the one person who doesn’t want me dead” Peter asked. “I wouldn’t be so sure of that,” Valentin answered. At GH, Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) and Maxie (Kristin Storms) fist bump as they said their plan would work. Jordan (Briana Henry) came to Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) new nightclub, which he named The Savoy. She said she got the impression he wanted to tell her something before they were interrupted by Taggert. Portia (Brooke Kerr) found Taggert in an exam room at GH. He came for a checkup for his gunshot wound. Michael (Chad Duell) arrived at Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) and offered to help her move a mattress. He told her he and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) broke up because they couldn’t recapture what they once had. Willow admitted after they (she and Michael) slept together in the nursery something changed. She wanted them to be together for real. Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase (Josh Swickward) returned back to Chase’s apartment. Chase felt hot and sick to his stomach. He wondered whether he got food poisoning and hoped they all wouldn’t get it. Anna used a taser on Peter. When he woke up, she told him he was obsessed with Maxie and was turning more and more into his father everyday. Maxie suggested she hide her baby with Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) or Robin (Kimberly McCullough). But Britt reminded she couldn’t leave her baby with anyone she knew as that would be the first place Peter looked. Valentin duct taped Peter’s hands and feet. He took August downstairs to the basement when someone knocked on Anna’s door. It was Finn who told Anna that Chase was his son. Then, he found Valentin’s wallet on the floor. Anna told Finn they had a plan to stop Peter. Taggert told Portia he knew she’d been involved with Curtis. He said he hadn’t been a good husband to her so he couldn’t blame her for seeking attention elsewhere. Portia apologized and added she wouldn’t do anything to come between Curtis and Jordan because she wanted them to work out. Curtis told Jordan he realized she couldn’t be as open and honest with him as she was with Taggert so it was better they got a divorce. Taggert said there was never a chance for them. Portia added she wanted him to be happy. Curtis and Jordan shared a goodbye dance before they walked away from their marriage. While Willow and Michael made love, Chase had a dream she came to him and told him she wanted to be with him. Britt told Maxie she’ll take her daughter soon after the baby is born and won’t tell anyone the child’s location…even Maxie. And if Peter tries to kill her for information, the secret will die with her. Peter told Anna and Valentin he thought ahead and had an insurance policy. So if anything happened to him, someone Anna cared about would die. Chase called the station and said he’d need to take a sick day tomorrow. Then, he layed back down on the couch and covered himself with a blanket even though he was sweating. Mike and Willow basked in the afterglow of their lovemaking.

Tuesday

Finn (Michael Easton) came to The Savoy with a gift for Curtis (Donnell Turner): A portable defibrillator. Curtis told Finn how he and Jordan could never be honest with each other. Finn admires Curtis for realizing things weren’t working and doing something about it by buying a club. “The problem is I lost Jordan in the process.” Jordan (Briana Henry) narrowly avoids bumping into Portia (Brooke Kerr), who noticed she looked like something was wrong. Dr. Robinson suggested they go out for coffee. Maxie (Kristin Storms) worried when Peter’s assistant couldn’t find him. Because a big media company wanted to buy The Invader, Maxie worried Peter planned to sell the paper and use the money to take her and the baby out of the country. She wanted to go home. But an arriving Liesl (Kathleen Gati) said absolutely not. She wanted to examine Maxie. But Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) reminded she was Maxie’s Obgyn and in doing so, Liesl would be undermining her. Peter (Wes Ramsey) warned Anna (Finola Hughes) her actions were putting someone she loved at risk. Although Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) assured her Peter was yanking her chains, Anna said Peter wouldn’t make a threat unless it was true. They decided to check on the baby they loved. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) came over with coffee and asked Chase (Josh Swickward) whether he was okay, commenting he looked like hell. After he and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) finally said they loved each other, Michael suggested he and Wiley move in there with her to create their own home. While Chase told Brook Lynn he and Willow may be getting back to where they were, Michael noticed the look on Willow’s face and asked whether she was thinking about Chase. Liesl wanted to move in with Maxie but her daughter-in-law asked her to trust she knew what she was doing as far as Peter was concerned. Valentin called Charlotte to check whether she was alright. Peter said he was looking in the wrong place as unlike Valentin, he’d never hurt a child like he did when he gave him to Faison. Valentin warned he’d kill Peter if he hurt anyone he loved. Willow told Michael he was the only man in her heart so she had to talk to Chase. Peter warned Valentin unless he and Anna backed off and let him live his life, someone important to him that he loved would die. Portia told Jordan that Taggert figured out she and Curtis were involved with each other. Jordan told Portia she and Curtis were getting a divorce. Brook Lynn’s bodyguard barged into Chase’s apartment and handed her his phone. Valentin told her she had to answer his calls or at least return his messages. He said he had enemies who did anything to hurt him and had to know she and the baby were safe. Brook Lynn and her bodyguard left when Willow arrived. Britt continued to experience pain in her hand but wouldn’t let on the real truth to Maxie and her mother. Anna came to check on Finn, telling him how Peter was showing his true colors so she was worried for those she cared about. Finn told Anna even though they were no longer together she could count on him for anything she needed. Then he told her how Chase got food poisoning from the dinner with him, Jackie (Kim Delaney) and Gregory (Gregory Harrison). Chase passed out while Willow was at his apartment.

Wednesday

Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) if she went with him to the Firehouse Dance, she’d see more of his moves. Michael (Chad Duell) and Jax (Ingo Radmacher) discuss Nina. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) came to the Quartermaine mansion and saw that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was pregnant. He commented he hoped she knew what she was doing. Jackie (Kim Delaney) arrived at GH and told Finn (Michael Easton) they had to make Peter August (Wes Ramsey) pay for what he did to Harry/Chase (Josh Swickard) with that article in The Invader. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) checked on an unconscious Chase. She tried to help him stand. But when Willow took his temperature, she said she had to take him to GH. Anna (Finola Hughes) returned home and told Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) that Chase got food poisoning when he was out to dinner. Peter laughed as he asked whether someone she cared about was sick. Elijah came to The Tano-o to take Nina on the tour he promised. Jax reminded Michael that Wiley was Nina’s only connection to the child he lost, Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Peter asked Anna who got sick from the family night out for dinner. When he learned it was Chase, Peter commented that Anna should ask her old friend Sean Donnelly; he should remember what happened with his wife Tiffany Hill. Ned (Wally Kurth) told Brook Lynn and Dante his plan to present Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) with a ring and ask her to renew their wedding vows. Dante said if he thought flowers and a fancy ring was enough to win his wife back, he didn’t know his mother at all. Anna told Valentin how Faison (Anders Hove) used a deadly poison on Tiffany and only gave the antidote in a small portion to get Sean to do his bidding. Peter said he developed it but that didn’t make it less deadly. He promised to give Anna the antidote if she and Valentin backed off and let him live his life with Maxie without them whispering in her ear about him. And if they let anyone outside this room know, especially Finn the deal was off. After Anna left for GH, Peter taunted Valentin how he should be proud of him for doing what Cassadine taught him. As he was paged, Finn found Willow and asked what happened. She told him and Jackie about coming to Finn’s apartment and how he passed out. She added that when she took his temperature, it was one hundred and four. Brook Lynn walked in on Robert (Tristan Rogers) holding Olivia’s hand and assuring her he was there for her in whatever decision about Ned she made. Dante reminded Ned he destroyed his mother’s trust and he couldn’t make up with it with a big fancy gesture. Ned said he wanted to put that sparkle back in her eyes and have her look at him like she used to. Ned vowed he would find a way back to being the man who deserved his mother. Olivia told Brook Lynn not to imply that she and Robert were anything more than friends. She advised Brook Lynn to adjust her attitude before she poisoned that child she was carrying. Michael told Jax he and Willow discussed a way Wiley could have all his grandmothers in his life. Mike/Sonny questioned Elijah about his background and what brought him to Nixon Falls. Although he didn’t remember his past, Mike/Sonny said he had to trust his instincts when it came to spotting trouble. Anna came to GH and asked Finn how Chase was doing. Valentin said Peter created damage because he couldn’t accept the consequences of his actions. Valentin cut Peter’s bounds and told him he was coming with him. Brook Lynn told Dante that Valentin Cassadine was her baby’s father. Dante told Brook Lynn as he had experience co-parenting with Valentin, if she needed help she could ask him. Valentin arrived at GH with Peter but tried to convince Anna that Finn could come up with an antidote without them agreeing to Peter’s terms. But Anna reminded because Chase is Finn’s son, he wouldn’t be thinking clearly. Peter went back on the deal and refused to give Anna the antidote. Jackie asked Finn how Chase could be treated if they didn’t know what caused his illness.

Thursday

Brando (Johnny Wactor) was working under a car but came out when someone handed him a wrench. It was Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). He told her after working for a man like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), it felt good to do something he loved like working with cars. Sasha realized Brandon was working for Cyrus because Renault knew Dev had been in the country illegally and was blackmailing Corbin. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) came to see Michael (Chad Duell). He told his brother his therapy sessions were helping. He said testifying at Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) sentencing hearing was the first time he felt clarity in a long time. Michael commented Dante would have to be there for Chase (Josh Swickward) if his brother decided to return to the force. Then, Michael told Dante he and Willow were really together and not just because of Wiley. Finn (Michael Easton) was given Chase’s latest test results. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) arrived at GH. Chase told Willow he was feeling better because she was there. Willow said she had something to tell him. Jax (Ingo Radmacher) wanted to come and tell Nina (Cynthia Watros) his news (that Michael said he and Willow would allow her to spend time with Wiley) in person. But Nina urged him to stay away. Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) took the phone from Nina and told Jax to back off. After Carly (Laura Wright) spoke with Jason (Steve Burton), she had a vision of Sonny telling her Jason would be okay because he was taking care of it. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) entering the room ends the vision. Josslyn told her mother she was accepted to PCU. Elijah continued to question Nina about Mike/Sonny while he took her on the tour of Nixon Falls. Mike/Sonny pretended to be someone interested in hiring Elijah. He learned Elijah was fired from one company because he was accused of embezzlement. Jax came over to the Corinthos house to tell Carly what Michael decided about Nina seeing Wiley. Josslyn told her dad she got accepted to PCU. Jax mistakenly commented that it must have helped take the sting out of being listed for Southern Coastal University. After Jax left, Josslyn told Carly that one of the reasons she wanted to go to Southern Coastal University was to get away from Cameron (William Lipton). Willow held Chase’s hand as she started to tell him about being with Michael. But Chase announced he couldn’t feel his hands or feet. Finn came in and explained the possible medical reasons why Chase was experiencing paralysis. But the actual cause still baffled everyone. Michael’s phone was far from him on the table so he wasn’t aware of the many mixed texts from Willow,. Sonny told Elijah he saw right through him.

Friday

The next morning, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) returned with a latte and wanted to talk about last night. Brando (Johnny Wactor) said it shouldn’t have happened. Sasha said on the contrary, it should. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) asked Anna (Finola Hughes) how Chase (Josh Swickward) was doing. Carly (Laura Wright) appeared and told them they had to do something about Peter (Wes Ramsey) now. Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) reminded Nina (Cynthia Watros) like Elijiah, he was a stranger. Martin (Michael E. Knight) overheard Laura (Genie Francis) talking about Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Cyrus (Jeff Kober). Meanwhile, Nikolas asked his contact to find the address for who ordered a Hummingbird cake, telling Ava (Maura West) it would lead them to Florence. He vowed he’d do what he could to help Alexis (Nancy Grahan). Another prisoner named Helga confronted Alexis. Her cellmate told Helga that Alexis was one of the new ones and she’d keep an eye on her. The cellmate warned Alexis to stay clear of the prisoner. Ava called Nikolas sexy when he acted as though he had everything figured out. Martin told Laura he had no information to give to Nikolas. He apologized again for helping Julian (William deVry) escape. “The promise we made as brother and sister seems to have vanished” Martin said, commenting Cyrus was afraid they would become allies. Cyrus entered and said he didn’t think Laura and Martin would be on speaking terms after what she’d learned about him. “Maybe it’s hope for you and me” Cyrus smirked. Sasha told Brando even when she was trying to reconcile with Michael (Chad Duell) she felt something between them (she and Brando). “Hey Mike, what if you could get yourself back?” Nina asked Mike/Sonny. Carly told Anna and Valentin that Peter was less of a threat than Cyrus. Mike/Sonny told Nina if she was happy in Nixon Falls, why leave? Sasha told Brando how she had a summer job at a garage when she was in high school. She told Brando she admired his bravery by walking a tight line by trying to protect Carly. When Cyrus seemed not as concerned with finding Florence as he was before , Laura asked what he was planning. Nikolas told Ava that the man he was speaking with was a man named Colonel Jackson, a military man now working private security. He said Colonel Jackson and his men could infiltrate anything and would find the bakery where the Hummingbird Cake was delivered. Ava reminded Nikolas he couldn’t trust Cyrus to keep his word. Anna told Carly that her interference would make things worse for Jason (Steve Burton). She urged Carly to trust her. Alexis’ cellmate asked her why she didn’t talk herself out of Pentonville. She said it was a long story. Since they both weren’t going anywhere, Alexis sat down to tell the tale. Ava told Nikolas that Cyrus’ promise to keep Alexis safe was just a manipulation. Nikolas said he needed to know she was in this with him. Laura knew Cyrus was using her son and left. Gladys was happy to find Sasha at the garage. Carly said if Anna couldn’t tell her who Peter was threatening, she couldn’t promise to do nothing. Anna said Peter could live with blood on his hands and asked whether Carly could. Nina told Mike/Sonny she did something selfish but believed she was helping a deserving person have a fresh start. Sasha told Gladys she was helping Brando fix a carburetor. Anna and Valentin came to the restaurant where Cyrus and Martin were. She introduced herself as Peter’s aunt. Nikolas asked Ava if he were in danger would she do everything in her power to keep him safe. Laura arrived at the Corinthos house and asked what it would take to surrender Florence Grey before someone got hurt. Cyrus told Anna to call him Cyrus and not Mr. Renault. He asked whether he could call her Anna. Laura told Carly she believed Nikolas would find out where Florence was. Nikolas spoke with Colonel Jackson who told Cassadine a Hummingbird Cake was recently ordered by Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman). Nikolas asked Colonel Jackson to scope out the location but hold back until he got the word. Alexis told her cellmate she pleaded guilty to take responsibility for her actions. Helga appeared and ordered Alexis’ cellmate to take a hike. Alexis found herself alone and facing Helga. Nina told Mike/Sonny she was going to the Firehouse Dance with Elijiah who asked her first. Mike/Sonny asked Nina to save him a dance. Cyrus was intrigued with Anna and commented that the information spilled at that non-wedding may prove to be useful leverage. He also told Martin that Peter August was just a means to an end and if everything went well, that end was already in sight. Laura told Carly that Nikolas is taking a risk to protect the people he loved. Carly asked Laura how do they stop Nikolas. “I just want you to know that whatever you decide I’m with you” Ava told Nikolas, who advised Colonel Jackson to wait for his signal. When Alexis commented about the crazy weather, Helga accused her of calling her crazy and pushed Ms. Davis against the wall.
