A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) told Carly (Laura Wright) about the video security being on a loop. They checked in with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) who was interrupted when Jordan (Briana Henry) appeared asking about why Brick was at GH. Trina (Sydney Mikayla) thanked Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) for the pasta and offered to pay. But Phyllis said because The Tan-o was a bar and not a restaurant, she wouldn’t accept her money. Watching from the window outside, Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) to wait for her in his room and not go downstairs to help Phyllis. Brick offered to move his car if he was doing something wrong by parking there. Jordan said he was fine but asked whether he planned to visit Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Brick said he’d wait until Jason was back in Pentonville. After the Police Commissioner left, Brick gave Carly and Spinelli the all clear. But Carly was worried…why was the commissioner at GH tonight? Ava (Maura West) and Laura (Genie Francis) told Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) having Cyrus (Jeff Kober) and Martin (Michael E. Knight) for dinner was part of Carly’s plan but they didn’t ask the details because it was better they didn’t know the details. But Carly’s plan could go sideways if Cyrus didn’t show up…it was already late. Laura assured he would come because he’d never turn off the chance to play the family card. Just then, the doorbell rang. Cyrus and Martin arrived with flowers from the hostess and desert. Martin pulled Nikolas aside and expressed his annoyance with his nephew using him to get information about Florence. Jordan came to Jason’s hospital room as an orderly was about to take him for tests. She said she hoped he was doing okay after what happened to him in Pentonville. Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) was in a hurry to leave GH when Finn (Michael Easton) came to her office. She remembered Jason telling her she had to be away from the hospital when his escape went down. After Finn left the office, Cyrus’ henchman posing as a janitor entered saying he was there to collect her trash. Britt reminded him how obvious he was and said she did her part. The man called Cyrus saying something was going down. Renault ordered him to inject Dr. Westbourne with something but make it look like an accident. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told Jax (Ingo Rachmacher) she didn’t go to the volleyball tournament because she let him team down. Nina found Mike/Sonny downstairs instead of his room. She told him she wouldn’t be driving her ex back to Port Charles after all because his daughter and friend came to take him. When Cyrus made a comment to Nikolas about his grand nephew reminding him of Renault himself and how he’s kept tabs on him because they’re family, Laura lost it. She told him he wasn’t and never would be a part of her family. Cyrus’ henchman and another man grabbed Britt as she started to leave GH. One man held her while the other attempted to jab her with the syringe. Jason ran downstairs and toward GH’s exit and freedom. When she pressed for answers about what was in the syringe he put in Chase’s (Josh Swickward) IV, Finn was forced to admit to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) that it was an antidote because Peter August (Wes Ramsey) poisoned him because Anna (Finola Hughes) was trying to bring him to justice. And for killing Franco. Elizabeth felt terrible for believing Jason was guilty of killing Franco and being part of the reason he was sent to Pentonville. Jason ran towards Brick’s car. But when he noticed Dr. Westbourne’s car was still in the parking lot, he went back for Britt despite Brick’s protests. Watching on Spinelli’s computer, Carly couldn’t believe what Jason was doing. After Cyrus and Martin left, Nikolas wondered whether they kept Renault there long enough. Jason arrived just in time to save Britt then grabbed her arm and told her they had to go. Jordan learned Dr. Westbourne was the one who ordered Jason’s tests. Cameron came to Jason’s room and saw the guard knocked out. When Jordan entered the room later, she ordered the hospital to be locked down because Jason Morgan had escaped. Spinelli lost video feed and told Carly that the security cameras were functioning properly and anyone in the parking garage would be caught on camera. There was a shootout in the GH parking garage. Finn and Elizabeth received texts to shelter in place due to a shooter in GH. Cyrus’ henchman called Renault and told him Morgan escaped with Dr. Westbourne. Carly wanted to go to GH to help Jason. She received a call from Josslyn who told her she wasn’t in Syracuse at the volleyball tournament but was in PA with her dad. Carly asked for Jax to be put on the phone and told her ex husband to bring their daughter straight home. Cameron picked up the shooter’s gun and shot Jason before he got in Brick’s car. Jordan drew her gun and was shocked when she faced Cameron Webber holding a gun.

Tuesday

Jordan (Briana Henry) and Cameron (William Lipton) stood facing each other with guns drawn. The police commissioner offered her officers to stand down. She then put her gun on the ground and told Cameron it was his turn. Once he put the gun down, he was arrested. Jordan told the frightened Cyrus (Jeff Kober) was angry with his henchman for allowing Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaukd) to get away. After commenting how it was too bad he wasn’t shot with the other men, Cyrus pulled out a blade and stabbed him. At Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) safehouse, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and Britt helped Jason (Steve Burton) to the bed. When Carly (Laura Wright) arrived, Brick told her there was a complication. She saw Jason had been shot. Britt told Carly that Jason came back to save her. He wanted her to patch him up so he could attend the meeting with the Five Families. Britt said his wound wasn’t something that could be fixed with a quick patch up. If she didn’t close it he’d bleed to death. Britt asked Brick to assist and Carly to hold Jason down and keep him from moving. Carly told Britt it was her fault and she had to save Jason. Carly asked her men to get as much O negative blood as possible. But until then, she used her own blood for Jason’s transfusion. At The Metro Court, Mac (John J. York) tried to convince Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) to return to the force. He was surprised to see Scott (Kin Shriner) and Liesl (Kathleen Gati) have martinis. Brando (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) ran into each other at GH. Cyrus pulled Brando away and told him he had a mess he needed him to clean up. Chase (Josh Swickward) told Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) the only thing that made sense in his life now was her. Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) arrived at the GH parking garage. Liz asked why her son was in handcuffs. Jordan explained about the shooting and finding Cameron pointing a gun at her. Cameron insisted he didn’t fire the gun. Elizabeth called Scott to represent her son. He came with Liesl in tow. Dr. Obretch asked about her daughter. When she was told it appeared Dr. Westbourne was Jason Morgan’s hostage, Liesl remembered Britt asking her to lie low and stay away from her because she was doing a favor for Jason. Cyrus appeared and demanded Jordan find his Chief of Staff. Renault then asked Liesl to let him know if she heard from her daughter. Plastering a fake smile on her face, Liesl said he’d be her first call. But after the drug kingpin left, Liesl told Jordan that Cyrus was involved in what was happening with Britta and Jason, adding she and the police commissioner were on the same side. Scott urged Cameron to remain silent and let him do the talking, vowing to help him. After Britt closed up his wound, Jason’s body went into shock. But he began warming up once he got more blood. Carly asked Brick to take care of that thing they discussed then leave town. Sasha visited Chase and learned of his condition. When Finn came to check his son’s vitals, Sasha and Willow stepped out of the room into the hall. Sasha told Willow she was glad Chase and Willow were back together. Finn vowed to help Chase get well. Forensics identified blood on the ground as Jason’s. Dante agreed to work the case with Mac. Cameron was taken to the PCPD. Jason woke up and asked Britt where Carly was. Cyrus arrived at the meeting of the Five Families. He exchanged greetings with the heads and was ready to start the meeting when Lady Mob Boss Carly entered and said now they could start.

Wednesday

Jordan (Briana Henry) thanked Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) for helping with the case. In the PCPD interrogation room, Scott (Kin Shriner) assured Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) he’d do everything he could to help Cameron (William Lipton). Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) she was looking into buying real estate in Nixon Falls. Jax (Ingo Rachmacher) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) returned to his house and decided to watch a movie. Josslyn wondered why her mother didn’t question her about why she was in Nixon Falls…something must be going on that they didn’t know about. Carly (Laura Wright) walked into the meeting of the Five Families and announced with her husband gone she’d be taking over his territory. She reminded of the explosions and excessive violence since Mr. Renault (Jeff Kober) arrived in Port Charles. An angry Cyrus said Mrs. Corinthos was emotional and not equipped to have a seat at the table. But Carly assured she was familiar with her late husband’s business and was more than capable of speaking as his voice. The members of the Five Families offered Carly their condolences over the loss of Sonny and welcomed her to the table. Jordan told Scott and Elizabeth that Cameron was being booked for reckless endangerment with a firearm. But if ballistics shows the bullet matches the gun Cameron was holding, the charges could be upgraded. When Jordan interviewed Cameron, she asked whether it was possible he blacked out and didn’t remember firing the gun. Jason (Steve Burton) wanted to get to the meeting. But Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) told him leaving could worsen his condition. Then she thanked him for saving her life. Jordan watched security footage and told Scott and Elizabeth someone behind Cameron shot Jason. Jax and Josslyn wondered whether Carly helped Jason escape. Carly refused to answer Dante’s questions without her attorney present. Jason pulled Britt to the floor, used the bed as cover and drew his gun when they heard someone trying to enter.

Thursday

Jordan (Briana Henry) told Cameron (William Lipton) as the bullet that hit Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was fired from a gun behind him, she’s dropping the charges. But warned that he came close to throwing away the rest of his life or at least the next twenty years. Jordan reminded that shooting someone regardless of whether it’s accidental is a crime so he should have never picked up the gun. Sam (Kelly Monaco) came to the PCPD and offered Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) her help in finding Jason. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) asked her mother about Jason and the shooting. She told her mother she didn’t believe Jason took Dr. Westbourne hostage. Carly (Laura Wright) questioned her daughter about driving to Nixon Falls. Jason pulled Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) to the floor, used the bed as cover and drew his gun when they heard someone trying to enter. When the door opened, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) entered and said he came in peace. He placed the bag of supplies Jason asked for on a table and asked his friend why he ran back to GH when he was almost home free in his escape. Britt answered Jason did it to save her. Then she injected him with an antibiotic so his wound wouldn’t get infected. Jason asked Spinelli to take him to The Metro Court to see Carly but Spinelli refused as in addition to not wanting to reinjure his friend, he didn’t want to incur the wrath of The Britch. Britt smiled when she heard Jason say “Don’t call her that.” Trina (Sydney Mikayla) came to Jordan’s place looking for her dad and learned Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan were divorcing. Jordan explained people like Curtis and Trina’s mom needed someone who could be honest with them. And she and Trina’s dad couldn’t. Portia (Brooke Kerr) came to The Savoy and met Angela, Curtis’ new (don’t call her bartender) mixologist. Angela’s drink creations took Portia and Curtis back to their time together. Scott told Cameron that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was the one who killed Franco. Although they didn’t have any proof, Elizabeth confirmed it was true. Cameron felt awful for all the arguments he had with Jake (Hudson West) and Josslyn, lamenting he could have killed Jason. Dante called Spinelli and ordered him to the PCPD. Although before leaving he assured Detective Falconieri wouldn’t get any information out of him, Jason told Britt knowing Spinelli he knew how this would play out. Sure enough at the PCPD Dante played bad cop even threatening to put Spinelli in a holding cell if he didn’t reveal Jason’s whereabouts. Sam entered the interrogation room and told her friend how worried Danny would be for his father. She said she couldn’t believe Spinelli didn’t trust her and asked where Jason was. Trina came to The Savoy and watched as her mother helped Curtis take off his wedding ring. Carly told Jax how she’d become the head of the Corinthos organization to keep her family safe from Cyrus. Reluctantly, she agreed Josslyn could stay tonight with her dad but only with her guards posted outside. After Carly left, Cameron came to see Josslyn. Jordan entered the interrogation room and demanded Spinelli tell her where Jason Morgan was. Sam and Dante arrived at the safe house but found it empty. Meanwhile, Britt was driving her and Jason to another location.

Friday

Cameron (William Lipton) told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) she didn’t know the whole story about Jason’s (Steve Burton) escape. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) ran into Anna (Finola Hughes) at GH while there picking up Charlotte’s (Scarlett Fernandez) vaccination records. They discussed Jason’s escape and how if he went after Peter (Wes Ramsey) he couldn’t give them any more of the antidote for Chase (Josh Swickward). Chase told Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) the good news he was getting feeling back in his hands. Finn (Michael Easton) left the room and Michael (Chad Duell) entered. Chase told Michael about Jason’s shooting. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) called Jax (Ingo Radmacher) explaining she was trying to get in touch with Josslyn (Eden McCoy) but she wasn’t answering her phone. Liz said she was looking for Cameron. Jax said Cam was there and Elizabeth asked him not to let him leave until she got there. Cameron told Josslyn he knew now Jason didn’t kill Franco. He updated her on how he almost shot Jason. Josslyn said she would never have forgiven him if he had. Carly (Laura Wright) fantasized that Sonny (Maurice Benard) was there and they talked about her attending the meeting with the Five Families. He told her he didn’t want her to be a part of her world. She said she was doing what she needed to protect their family. The fantasy was broken when Michael arrived and questioned his mother about Jason’s shooting. Carly told her son how Britt was helping them but going with Jason was an unexpected wrinkle. However, she’s glad Jason is in a doctor’s care. Carly asked Michael to keep things normal for Donna and Josslyn. Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) discussed the plan to pretend Maxie’s baby died and give her to Brook Lynn to keep her from Peter. Maxie tried to get in touch with Britt. When Peter arrived at the door, Maxie had Brook Lynn hide in the bedroom. She lied that she fell asleep listening to a podcast. While she went to put the butter pecan milkshake in the fridge, Peter snapped a photo of the nurse’s resume Maxie said she was reviewing. At the PCPD, Olivia (Lisa Cicero) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) talked about Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and one of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) ships was sunk and his cargo lost. Dante told Sam (Kelly Monaco) he had to bring her in for questioning. Anna told Valentin her plan to find the developer of the toxin to get a possible cure. Finn told Chase he was given a temporary cure. But it wasn’t safe for him to leave the hospital. In the interrogation room, Robert told Sam sharing what she knew could help Jason. Olivia reminded Dan that Danny and Scout have been through enough and shouldn’t have to deal with their mother possibly being sent to Pentonville for trying to help their father. Maxie called GH and learned from Amy (Risa Dorken) that Jason escaped and took Britt hostage. Maxie worried how they’d implement the plan if Britt didn’t get back before the baby was born. Peter made a call about Chloe Jennings, the nurse Maxie chose. Anna learned the doctor who worked on the toxin was dead. Dante told Sam because her loyalties lie with Jason that put them on opposite sides of the case and their friendship. Willow assured Michael once Chase was out of the woods they could be together. “I’m ready Sonny. I’m ready to be the head of the family in every way” Carly said. Josslyn told Cameron they’d be okay but he’d have to Jake (Hudson West) and Jason if he ever got the chance. Once they left Jax’s house, Elizabeth comforted her son as Cameron lamented that he lost Josslyn, his best friend because he didn’t listen when she told him he was wrong about Jason.
