A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Michael (Chad Duell) called Jax (Ingo Radmacher) and told him since Nina (Cynthia Watros) was with Wiley now he held up his part of the bargain and wanted Jax to do the same. Michael told Jax that Nina was in Wiley’s left but Jax was out of his (Michael) then he hung up. Nina told Wiley she’d be spending a lot of time with him from now on. She noticed Grandma Carly (Laura Wright) was there too. At GH, TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly (Haley Pullos) greeted Stella (Vernee Watson). Alexis (Nancy Grahan) questioned Sean (Sean Blakemore) about the date of his original sentencing hearing. Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) came to see Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and assured she didn’t tell anyone about the plan for Bobbie to deliver her baby in Beecher’s Corners. When Finn (Michael Easton), Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) arrived in his room, Chase (Josh Swickward) announced he asked Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to marry him and she said yes. After Michael took Wiley out of the room, Carly told Nina that Jax pressured Michael to allow her to visit with Wiley. TJ and Molly assured Stella that despite their busy schedules, they make time to spend together. They also planned to visit Sean and Alexis tonight in Pentonville. TJ and Molly walked away and Jordan (Briana Henry) approached Stella. Ms. Henry asked Jordan how she let her family fall apart while Stella was gone. Chase told Finn, Elizabeth and Brook Lynn he and Willow wanted to get married while there was still time. He said he was terminal. Chase said he wanted to give Willow a lifetime with Willow adding they’re going to spend the time they had making each other happy. Molly visited Alexis in Pentonville. She told her mother how much she loved working in the DA’s Office. Stella told Jordan she and Curtis (Donnell Turner) made a bad decision by divorcing. TJ visited Sean, who was happy that Jordan finally brought Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) down. Sean gave TJ the bad news his parole was denied. Bobbie went to the kitchen and brought out peas and carrots and asked Maxie whether she had cabbage. Carly told Nina she was going to find out what pressure Jax put on Michael to convince him to allow Nina to visit Wiley. Carly suggested Nina bring Willow and Michael along when she took Wiley to the zoo. Nina said she’d love that as she wanted to learn her grandson’s likes and dislikes. After Nina left, Carly asked her son what Jax used to pressure him. Alexis told Molly how she was looking into Sean’s sentencing. Chase told Willow he wanted Michael at their wedding because he couldn’t get married without his best man. Brook Lynn knew Willow cared for Chase but was in love with Michael. Carly asked Michael with everything going on whether he’d pick tonight to let Nina visit with Wiley if Jax hadn’t intervened. Chase didn’t want Finn to blame himself if he died because he was doing everything he could. He told Finn he needed him to be strong. Willow told Brook Lynn even though Michael would understand why she was marrying Chase he’ll need a friend. Although it wasn’t ideal, TJ reminded Sean at least he got to see him. The peas and carrots were to help Maxie with her discomfort from lactation. Maxie said even though some other woman was holding her, she’d always be Louise’s mother. Jordan told Stella she and Curtis would always love each other. Nina came to see Jax and asked what he’s done. Michael assured Carly the timing may not be right but he was leaning toward Nina seeing Wiley. He had a question for his mother: “Now that all the charges against Jason have been dropped, are you going to step aside and let him run the business?” Michael asked his mother about the shooting incident on the pier. Finn commented to Elizabeth that Chase wants to absolve him but they knew his condition was his fault. Michael urged his mother to make it clear now that Jason was back he was running the business. Sean and Alexis talked about the great kids they had. Jordan told Stella she had to accept her marriage to Curtis was over so she had to let Curtis move on. Jax asked Nina about her returning back to PA. Maxie cried to Bobbie how much she missed her little girl. Finn told Elizabeth that Chase was thinking he was some kind of hero but the truth was he was his killer. Finn held Elizabeth’s hand and caressed her face. Chase cried to Brook Lynn that he should be starting his life with Willow and didn’t want to die. Willow returned home and said before Michael told her about Nina “Chase asked me to marry him and I said yes.”

Tuesday

Jason (Steve Burton) arms himself with his gun before leaving. When he went downstairs to the dining room, Jason ran into Carly (Laura Wright). He said he had a business meeting and reminded he’s back to handle things. Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) told Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) she was starting to think of him as family. She asked whether he’s called Nina (Cynthia Watros) since she’s been away. He said that was good because he didn’t have any family. Nina came over to see Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and expressed how sorry she was for what happened to Maxie’s baby. Maxie asked about Nixon Falls and what it was that made Nina want to stay. Maxie picked up Nina’s phone when it rang and looking at the display asked “Who’s Mike?” Maxie left the room to check on James. Nina told Mike/Sonny she got to spend time with her grandson but was worried about her sister-in-law because she was dealing with something. Sam (Kelly Monaco) called and told Maxie she was at the country house to get clues about where the fake nurse took Maxie’s baby. When Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived, Sam said she was focused on finding Maxie’s baby. Ned (Wally Kurth) talked with Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) about his grandparents and how they acted when a new baby was born. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) told Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) that Chase (Josh Swickward) was terminal. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) told Michael (Chad Duell) that Chase asked her to marry him and that Finn (Michael Easton) confirmed Chase was dying. Willow told Michael she just wanted to give Chase some happiness. “Even if it was a lie?”Michael asked. Then he remembered how their marriage was based on a lie but for the right reason (to keep Nelle from gaining custody of Wiley). Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) walked into The Metro Court. Carly commented how much of a relief it must be for her now that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is in custody. After Carly walked away, Britt again thanked Jason for sending her mother to Canada and said although her diagnosis was tragic, she’s decided to move on. Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) had drinks at the bar. Nikolas told Ava he had no intention of losing her. She left her purse when they took a table and the bartender returned it. Ava asked Nikolas whether an ex could be sending the packages. She didn’t think Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), more like the ex sitting across the way (Britt). Nikolas rudely interrupted Britt and Jason. When Jason left the table, he asked point blank about the stuff he and Ava were getting and whether she’s been sending them. Britt assured it wasn’t her because she didn’t have time to play games. Sam and Dante were surprised when Austin (Roger Howath) arrived at the country house. He explained he owned the house along with other properties in the area and was the person who delivered Maxie’s baby. Later, Austin seemed interested in the breaking news alert on his cell phone regarding ELQ’s emergency board meeting to name a new CEO. Carly saw Britt and Jason sharing a close moment. Phyllis told Mike/Sonny Port Charles wasn’t too far and said he could borrow her car if he wanted to visit Nina. Maxie asked about Brook Lynn’s baby which concerned Nina. Ned told Michael that Valentin was going to try to split the ELQ vote. But Michael was distracted thinking about the news Willow told him about Chase. Meanwhile, Willow sat by the window, tears streaming down her face.

Wednesday

Stella (Vernee Watson) was annoyed that Curtis (Donnell Turner) was being released from GH so soon after being shot. Curtis noticed he hadn’t received any visitors today, in particular Portia (Brooke Kerr). Nina (Cynthia Watros) visited Curtis. Laura (Genie Francis) asked Portia how things were going between her and Curtis. Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) commented to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) how surprised she was that Dr. Finn (Michael Easton) asked to have her back on his service. Anna (Finola Hughes) vowed she’d find Peter (Wes Ramsey) and force him to give them the antidote. Finn reminded if Peter didn’t want to be found he wouldn’t. Curtis told Nina about kissing Portia and she told him about spending time with Wiley. Brando (Johnny Wactor) came to the Corinthos house and apologized to Jason (Steve Burton) for his mother’s lies. Carly commented that Gladys did come forward, although she was coerced into doing so. Brando asked to join the Corinthos organization. Jason reminded he had a child on the way and had to do what was best for his family. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) visited Chase (Josh Swickward) and was surprised when he told her he and Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) were getting married. When they left Chase’s hospital room, Willow told Sasha even though she was in love with Michael she was marrying Chase to give him some happiness before he died. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) told Jackie (Kim Delaney) that her lie about Harry’s (Chase) paternity gave him the chance to be his father and for that, they’ll always be connected. Jordan (Briana Henry) came to Cyrus’ (Jeff Kober) hospital room to gloat. She told him the charges against Taggert were dropped and she’d been given immunity. Jordan said Cyrus may have cost her marriage but not justice. Jordan told Cyrus he would be going to Federal Prison. Britt told Anna when Cyrus was Chairman of the Board he had the security cameras in the stairwells turned off. It was reasoned that he used the roof to transport his drugs. Anna went to the roof to investigate. Finn and Elizabeth’s almost kiss made them awkward around each other. Chase coughed up blood and learned he was suffering from Stage 3 organ failure and may only have one more night left. Before Cyrus left GH, he told Laura he was in her head and it was only a matter of time before she gave into her nature. Jordan tendered her registration with Laura. Elizabeth recalled how after Finn killed Peter they put his body in a freezer with the plan to leave it in the sub-basement of GH so everyone would think he left town. They planned to move the body on an elevator to the sub-basement that people forgot about. Meanwhile on the roof, Anna found the elevator.

Thursday

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) saw Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) ghost on the GH roof. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Trina (Sydney Mikayla) said they had a lot to celebrate now that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was headed to prison. Jordan (Briana Henry) gave Laura (Genie Francis) her letter of resignation and said all she had to do was sign it. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) found Finn (Michael Easton) in the lab and asked why he wasn’t spending the moments that could be Harry’s (Josh Swickward) last with him. The vision of Peter’s ghost disappeared. Elizabeth found Anna (Finola Hughes) at the sub-basement elevator and Ms. Devane said she felt it could hold the clue to how Peter got out of GH. Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) thought how her life almost ended, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) commented how her daughter was lucky to have a savior in Mr. Morgan (Jason Morgan). Carly (Laura Wright) questioned Jason about the spark she saw between him and Britt. Liesl warned Britt although Cyrus was in prison and he was no longer a danger, Henrik was still out there. Laura encouraged Jordan to celebrate the victory Port Charles had with getting rid of Cyrus. But Jordan thought Laura should be furious with her for betraying the city’s trust and want her out of the police commissioner job. Anna reminded Elizabeth about GH’s sub-basement Helena Cassadine and Olivia Jerome once used. Finn told Gregory he now knew why his Trojan Horse cure didn’t work. “I’m not Chase’s father you are.” Jason told Carly one of their shipments never made it to its destination. Liesl didn’t want Britt to take the threat of Peter lightly. Finn told Gregory his belief that Cyrus arranged for the DNA paternity test to be tampered with to get back at Jackie (Kim Delaney) for that story she did on Renault’s mother. Gregory found Finn’s theory intriguing and said if Finn was right and it saved Chase’s life, he had his support. Trina and Josslyn had their caps and gowns and practiced their commencement walk. Liesl came to see Jason and asked “When are you going to rid the world of Peter August?” He told her his people were looking for Peter. Liesl wanted Jason to deliver swift and deliberate action to Peter then asked his intentions towards her daughter. Britt knew Carly questioned what was going on between Britt and Jason. Dr. Westbourne admitted they’ve grown closer. Laura told Jordan she respected her for her owning up to her mistakes. She thought the people of Port Charles would support Jordan and it would be a loss if she resigned. Jordan told Laura she wanted her to monitor the climate of the people and if there’s a hint of mistrust, she’ll resign. Liesl cried over Britt’s diagnosis and told Jason she’d be strong when the time came. Anna wanted to find information about the plane that was going to land on the roof to pick Peter up but it never landed and he never got on. Finn told Gregory that if he was wrong and gave Chase the new antidote made from Jackie and Gregory’s DNA, it would kill him immediately. But as they were racing against the clock, if they didn’t get the DNA paternity test results soon it was a matter of life and death.

Friday

Brick (Stephen A. Smith) told Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) that the shipment didn’t arrive because one of their own people sold them out. He explained with Sonny (Maurice Benard) people felt his organization was weak. Brick said people expected Jason to challenge Carly for authority. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) spoke with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and learned Louise was doing well. Maxie said she was coming over “I have to see my baby.” Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) helped Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) decorate the hospital chapel for the wedding. She gave Willow a butterfly pin her aunt gave her for her graduation and said it covered all the wedding traditions of something old, something new, something borrowed (because Sasha wanted it back) and something blue (because it was blue). Chase (Josh Swickward) thanked Jackie (Kim Delaney) for the life he gave him. “I’m just sorry to leave it.” Finn (Michael Easton) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) he thought he figured out why his cure didn’t work “Cyrus Renault.” Michael (Chad Duell) told Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) that Chase didn’t have long and could be dead by tonight. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) said Austin (Roger Howath) could be the kidnapper of Maxie’s baby and was inserting himself into the police investigation out of some sick pleasure. Brook Lynn convinces Maxie if she came over Peter (Wes Ramsey) could be watching and it may arouse his suspicions “Then all we did would be for nothing.” Maxie hung up when someone arrived at her door. It was Sam who told her how a hidden camera was found at the country house and she and Dante looked at the footage. Sam said it was obvious the nurse was following Peter’s orders. “So what makes you so sure she wanted the baby for herself?” Maxie insisted the fake nurse Chloe took her baby and Louisd wasn’t with Peter. Austin and Dante left to search any area of the woods. Austin pushed Dante to the ground so he wouldn’t fall through the mineshaft. Realizing someone could be down there and hurt, Austin grabbed a rope to climb down the mineshaft. But Dante reminded since it was a police investigation, he should go. After a while, Dante announced he found the nurse. Finn told Elizabeth his theory Cyrus had the DNA tampered with out of spite. Gregory appeared and asked whether there was any word yet on the DNA test results. Anna explained to Brook Lynn about Peter’s possible escape via a private plane and how he could be hiding out at the designation where he planned to take Maxie and the baby. Finn called and asked Anna to do him a favor. Michael arrived at GH and Chase thanked him for being his friend. Anna brought in Violet. Choking back tears, Chase told Violet he was proud to be her uncle and asked her to be his flower girl. Brook Lynn told Valentin from the way they acted around each other it seemed he and Anna were friends. Gregory performed the wedding ceremony and pronounced Chase and Willow husband and wife. Sam assured Maxie she believed her. Carly and Jason realized they’d have to prove the Corinthos organization was as strong as ever. The DNA test results revealed Gregory was Chase’s father. But did the information come too late? While Jackie and Willow sat by his bed, Chase began to flatline.
