A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) he and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) because she gave Uri the slip so he decided he’d keep an eye on her. Dr. Navarro told Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) because it was her third child she didn’t foresee complications and she could go home with her little girl tonight. Anna (Finola Hughes) left a message for Tiffany Hill to see whether Sean Donnelly could help her with the toxin. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) assured Finn (Michael Easton) he’d figured a way to neutralize the toxin. When Anna entered, Elizabeth made a comment about Peter before leaving. Finn admitted he told Elizabeth the truth because the belief Jason (Steve Burton) killed Franco caused Cameron (William Lipton) to pick up a gun. Finn refused to allow Peter to take any more victims. Dr. Navarro explained her recommendation for inducing was due to the information about Maxie’s high blood pressure and Braxton Hicks noted in her chart. Peter said he and Maxie decided to wait until her due date. When Elijah caught her in his office, Nina (Cynthia Watros) lied and said she came back because she lost an earring and apologized for making him believe he had a second robbery. Elijah smiled and seemed to believe her. Because after she left, his face displayed his true colors. Brook Lynn sought Michael (Chad Duell) and Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) help in stopping Valentin from moving in. Michael agreed with Brook Lynn. But Monica thought it a good idea to keep Brook Lynn and the baby safe from Peter August’s machinations. Brando (Johnny Wactor) tried to get Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) to tell him what was wrong. Carly approached them and Sasha walked away. As Carly spoke with Sasha, Gladys wrongly congratulated Cyrus (Jeff Kober) on his impending fatherhood. She said Sasha’s boss believed he was Sasha’s “baby daddy.” Cyrus said Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was a gossip so she shouldn’t believe anything the woman said. Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) was so relieved when Nina arrived at the Tan-o that he hugged her. She questioned him about the gun she saw on the counter. He said Lenny and Phyllis got it after the robberies and he would use it to protect her from Elijah. Meanwhile, Elijah checked his computer files and realized the printer was warm. Carly found Sasha in the ladies room of The Metro Court and learned she was pregnant with Brando’s child. Cyrus stunned Brando by revealing The Face of Deception was expecting. Elizabeth was furious when she got a call from Cameron that Peter August sent reporters to her house to get the scoop for The Invader about him almost shooting Jason Morgan. Anna offered to whisk Maxie somewhere so she could have the baby without Peter being there. But Maxie realized Peter would be furious and withhold the antidote to the toxin. She refused to trade Chase’s (Josh Swickward) life for her baby. Anna said she had another lead that may help Finn recreate the antidote. Cyrus asked Brando to find the father of Sasha’s baby because he wanted to have a talk with the gentleman. because Cyrus would be furious to learn he lost (even though he never had her) her to his driver, Carly warned Sasha she’d be saving Brando’s life by lying that the father of her baby was some random hook-up after her breakup with Michael. When Tiffany called her back, Anna received sad news and told Maxie her godfather Sean Donely passed away. As Nina and Mike/Sonny reviewed the information on Elijah, he spoke with someone on the phone and said he’d take care of it.

Tuesday

Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) arrived at Elijah’s latest acquisition, a strip mall in Corinth, PA. Carly (Laura Wright) told Diane (Carolyn Henessey) she thinks she found a way to bring Jason (Steve Burton) home. Britt (Kelly Monaco) and Jason were at their new hideout, a Canadian lighthouse. When he saw her with her cellphone, Jason asked who she was calling. Anna (Finola Hughes) left a message for Robert (Tristan Rogers) saying she needed to see him. Chase (Josh Swickward) asked Finn (Michael Easton) what he wasn’t telling him about his condition and the treatment he was receiving. Michael (Chad Duell) asked Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) whether she believed Finn was withholding information about Jason’s condition. When Peter (Wes Ramsey) came to her apartment, Maxie (Kristen Storms) announced she was leaving town. Ned (Wally Kurth) asked Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) how the first night Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) living there went. Suddenly, they heard Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) scream. Brook Lynn commented the other shoe just dropped. Olivia learned Valentin and Charlotte were staying at the Q mansion. She told Ned she was staying in the guest wing because it didn’t feel right being in their room without him there. Willow felt asking Finn about Chase’s condition would feel like another lie since she was no longer his girlfriend. Finn told Chase he was keeping him in the hospital to keep him safe. Robert arrived at GH and Anna told him the sad news about Sean passing away. “Our friend is gone,” she said sadly. Britt told Jason she was calling Maxie to see how she was doing. Carly told Diane she was going to get Gladys to recant her statement about seeing Jason dumping the gun. Nina wondered how a small town like Corinth with mom and pop businesses were replaced by a strip mall. Mike/Sonny said Elijah happened. Maxie told Peter she wanted to check into a spa for one last day of pampering before the baby came. She added that her godfather Sean Donely died so she needed a few days to process. Peter said he understood and knew she’d be okay because Chloe would be with her. Nina and Mike/Sonny met a woman named Barb in the park. She told them that the business owners sold their shop after a large onset of crime. But all the lots were combined into one unit and became a strip mall. Nina commented Corinth was a town that lost its heart. Mike/Sonny said it was stolen. Carly told Diane that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is pregnant with Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) child. Carly planned to tell Gladys and warn her if she didn’t recant her statement about Jason she’d tell Cyrus and Brando’s life would be in danger. Diane reminded Carly how Sonny made a lot of hard choices; it was the nature of the business. And now that she was running things, she couldn’t afford sentiment. Anna told Finn about Sean’s passing. The memorial was tomorrow. After Robert walked away, Finn told Anna she had to go. But Anna worried how Chase would get the antidote if she wasn’t there. She decided Valenti could handle Peter. Britt called Maxie on the burner phone. Maxie pretended she was Trish, a mom from James’ play group. They talked in code with both saying they were okay. After she hung up, Jason told Britt to use the fake passport and go see a doctor about her hand. Nina wanted to do a story for Crimson about Corinth being destroyed due to the strip mall. Finn told Chase he’d pay his medical bills because him being in GH was his fault. Mike/Sonny recognized the man who tried to rob The Tan-o. Carly called Gladys and told her she’d send a car for her because she had to see her. Brook Lynn called a relative and told the woman what to say if anyone asked about Brook Lynn visiting the family. Maxie scheduled spa treatments for Chloe so the woman would be occupied and didn’t know she was gone. Chase insisted he was leaving GH. But Finn told him he had to stay in the hospital because his life depended on it.

Wednesday

Chase (Josh Swickward) insisted on leaving the hospital despite Finn’s (Michael Easton) insistence he stay. Jason (Steve Burton) said if Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) wanted to leave because she was worried they’d get caught she didn’t need to. Cyrus (Jeff Kober) came to see Laura (Genie Francis) and told her he had something to say that she’d appreciate. But he knew they couldn’t be family, especially after that ruse of a dinner to keep him out of the way so Carly could help break Jason Morgan out of the hospital. Brando (Johhny Wactor) arrived at Deception and asked Sasha (Sofia Mattson) whether she was pregnant with his child. Carly (Laura Wright) told Gladys they had a problem which they could solve the easy or hard way. Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) slammed the man against a dumpster and commented on what he was going to do with him. Mike/Sonny demanded the man tell him why he’d want to rob The Tan-o. Mike/Sonny asked the man to put a number into his phone then told him to call him if he was ever hard up on cash. Or if Elijah contacted him. Chase told Finn he couldn’t keep him in the hospital like some sort of lab experiment because it was sucking the life out of him. Carly offered to set Gladys up in her own business in Bridgeport and a new house if that’s what she wanted. Gladys refused to be run out of town saying she had friends in Port Charles. Okay as she was turning down her offer, Carly said it was time for the unpleasant way. Sasha admitted to Brando she was pregnant with his child. Brando said even though it was the last thing he expected, he was totally on board with it. Jason told Britt before he became a father he wouldn’t have gotten the test to see whether he had the Huntington’s Disease marker. But he would owe it to his kids to find out. Britt said even without kids she’d have to know so she could make a game plan. She met with the doctor (who thought Jason was her husband) and told him about her hand tumors and her father’s Huntington’s Disease. He ordered tests. Michael suggested if Chase wanted to leave the hospital he could move in with him. Michael added the Quartermaine mansion had ten unused bedrooms, his grandmother was a doctor and he had a great neighborhood down the road with an adorable little boy. Michael smiled at Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) as he said the last thing. Chase considered it but asked for the advice of his doctor. Finn smiled and said he’ll sign off on Chase’s new living arrangements if Monica (Leslie Charleson) agreed. Gladys commented Carly must have thought she was Sonny; she wasn’t scared of her. Plus even if Sonny were there, Gladys had friends equally as powerful as her cousin. Carly asked whether Gladys loved her son and said she was ten seconds from getting her son killed. Carly told Gladys because she told Cyrus the truth about Dev, Brando was under Cyrus’ thumb. Brando told Sasha he was tired of Cyrus and would quit his job and let the chips fall where they may. Cyrus told Laura because she didn’t want a familial relationship, he’d treat Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) like anyone else standing in his way. “Be careful what you wish for Laura. You didn’t want me as a brother, now you have me as an enemy” Cyrus said before leaving. Carly warned Gladys how Cyrus dealt with liabilities. Sasha reminded Brando she was a trophy that was unattainable to Cyrus. Brando knew Renault would kill him if he found out he was the father of her child. Sasha got a call telling her Cyrus Renault was at Crimson and Sasha said to send him in. Michael commented how Chase sacrificed his life so they get custody of Wiley so they should help him. Finn admitted he felt better Chase would have a doctor at the Quartermaine mansion to monitor him. Plus, Chase would get to spend time with Wiley. Willow told Michael if he wasn’t with her all of this would be harder. Laura called Nikolas and asked to see him. Carly told Gladys she was the only one who could save her and her son. “Perfect timing, we have a lot to discuss” Sasha told Cyrus letting him into the office. Nina (Cynthia Watros) reminded Mike/Sonny he didn’t have any personal history requiring him to act a certain way. Mike/Sonny commented he didn’t regret it. Tests revealed Britt hand tumors were due to stress. But she decided she still wanted to have the Huntington’s Disease marker test.

Thursday

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) rolled a tire into Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) apartment. Maggie told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) her parole was granted and she will be released on Friday. TJ (Taj Bellows) visited Sean (Sean Blakemore) in Pentonville. Sean told TJ he decided to go for his parole. TJ offered his and Molly’s (Haley Pullos) help to prove Sean’s innocence and even surprised him by calling him dad. Sean said once he was free, he’d find the guilty party. Laura (Genie Francis) invited Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Ava (Maura West) in and told them how Cyrus (Jeff Kober) said she lost a brother but gained an enemy. Cyrus was surprised to see Brando (Johnny Wactor) at Deception. Sasha said Brando was there to find out the identity of her baby’s father so she would tell them. Carly told Gladys it would be better if Cyrus never found out Sasha was pregnant. “Too late, Cyrus already knows” Gladys told Carly. Dante accused Sam of slashing his tires and gave her a bill. He reminded she committed a few crimes that could send her back to prison. Maggie said Alexis’ help gave her the confidence that helped her obtain her parole. Sasha lied that her baby’s father was from a one night stand and warned if Cyrus persists in wanting to find out detailed information about her personal life she would call the police and report the harassment. Cyrus wanted to talk with Sasha alone and gave Brando the night off. Sasha accused Cyrus of resenting the fact she was pregnant by someone other than him. She lied she didn’t know the father’s name or have his number so refers to him as “Mr. Nobody.” Cyrus tried to assure he cared about her and wanted to make sure the father lived up to his responsibility. Sasha reminded he wasn’t a father and said she didn’t want him as a part of her life. Dante told Sam how her slashing his tires gave him a lead. He found evidence at a nature reservation with a barn owned by the Cassadines proving Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) and Jason (Steve Burton) were there. That evidence led him to Canada. Dante decided not to take her in for obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting a fugitive. He thanked Sam for keeping him from killing Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Sam wrote Dante a check to pay for his damaged tires but found it torn in pieces at her front door after the detective left her place. Brando came to the Cornithos house and was surprised to find his mother there. He told them about Sasha covering for him when questioned by Cyrus about her pregnancy. Ava told Laura and Nikolas about Carly’s powerplay and Cyrus’ reaction. She added if they banded together, Cyrus would see he’s a man alone without an island. Brando told Carly that Sonny trusted her so he did too. “What do you need us to do?” he asked. “Get your mother to recant her testimony” Carly answered.

Friday

County Kerry, Ireland. Sean Donely’s daughter Annie (Caitlin Reilly) commented how she couldn’t believe so many of them came from America. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Annie her dad loved her. When Annie walked away, Anna (Finola Hughes) walked to talk with Felicia but she brushed her off. Mac (John J. York) reminded his wife they were two of Sean’s favorite people and talking it out was a way to honor him. Robin (Kimberly McCullough) told her dad Robert (Tristan Rogers) how she wished she brought the kids to Ireland to spend time with Sean. Peter (Wes Ramsey) arrived to say goodbye to Maxie (Kristen Storms) before she left for her spa trip. He asked where Chloe was adding it was understood she was to be with Maxie at all times. Peter offered to stay with Maxie so she wouldn’t be alone until Chloe returned. But Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) entered and said she’d be taking care of Maxie. Robert asked Caitlin howit was going with the WSB training program. He also asked her whether he and Anna could have access to Sean’s old case files. “I’m sorry, I can’t give you access.” Laura called Tiffany who shared her memories of Sean. Flashback scenes were shown. After the call, Laura was startled when someone came behind her. Felicia angrily told Anna she didn’t protect her goddaughter (Maxie) by not sharing her doubts about Peter. And worse, she prevented Felicia from protecting her child. Robin found Laura’s keys outside but no one’s seen her. Robin encouraged her mother to be brave and try to help Felicia see her side. Anna tried again to apologize to Felicia. “I don’t think I can forgive you,” Felicia told Anna. After Peter left, Maxie told Bobbie she needed her to deliver her baby. Annie, Robin and Robert found Laura’s room ransacked. Annie wondered whether it could have something to do with her dad. Monica (Leslie Charleson) was the next person to be startled by a mysterious person. Anna admitted to making terrible mistakes where Peter was concerned. She explained how she wanted to see the best in Peter and ignored the warning signs. Felicia said she couldn’t remember a time when they weren’t friends. Anna was there for Maxie even after Sean and Tiffany were gone. Annie asked Robin whether someone could be targeting Sean’s old friends. Robert commented how Sean spent some time on the wrong side of the law and remembered one time Donely tried to kill him. An old flashback from when Sean and Robert fought was shown. Bobbie agreed to meet Maxie in Beecher’s Corners and deliver her baby. She asked who Maxie had lined up to take care of the baby once she was born to keep her from Peter. Knowing Sean wouldn’t want them to throw away all the years they invested in their friendship, Felicia forgave Anna. Sean’s friends discovered first Monica then Mac were missing. Maxie assured she made arrangements for her baby to be loved and cared for, adding the less Bobbie knew the better. Maxie said she’d always be grateful for the gift of BJ’s heart beating inside her. Anna tried to access Sean’s computer but the hard drive was wiped. Anna, Annie and Robin heard Felicia scream and rushed to help. They found Robert on the floor. Annie realized Felicia was with the others when a box meant to represent Felicia’s Aztec jewels was found. “Someone is picking us off one by one and anyone of us could be next” Annie realized. Anna and Robin took Robert to get some ice. Annie found Robert’s cellphone and asked to speak with Anna alone. She told Annie she found Robert’s phone and he lied about calling the police. Anna told Annie not to jump to conclusions then went back to Robin and Robert. Annie found the magnet used to wipe the computer’s hard drive and accused Anna and Robert of being behind the disappearance of Sean’s old friends. “Now where are the others and what have you done with them?” Annie demanded. Anna and Robert smiled when Annie said even though the bureau didn’t accept her, she wouldn’t betray her oath of secrecy and give them access to her dad’s files. Soon Laura, Monica, Mac and Felicia appeared. Anna revealed the disappearance was her final exam and she passed. Felicia apologized for hitting Robert over the head too hard. Anna was an official WSB Agent and was given her badge; she had her father’s old badge number. Robert said goodbye to his old friend.
