A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

At The Tan-o, Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) they had a lot of catching up to do. Nina talked about her time with her grandson Wiley and how she and the other grandmother were able to get along better for Wiley’s sake. Nina shared a dance with Mike/Sonny. Monica (Leslie Charleson) congratulated Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) and Terry (Cassandra James) as the board voted to make them co-Chief of Staff. Britt angrily stormed out. Monica told Terry that she presented them as a package deal so unless they both accepted another candidate would be considered. Terry assured she’d try to convince Dr. Westbourne to make it work. Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Sean (Sean Blakemore) were at The Metro Court pool. When she saw Jax (Ingo Radmachner), Sam walked over. He asked about Alexis (Nancy Grahan). Alexis was surprised to see Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) at Spring Ranch, wondering how he ended up in a place like that. Alexis was startled when Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) appeared behind her. Nikolas didn’t like the idea his aunt was in the same facility as a serial killer. Alexis assured her nephew she wasn’t in danger from a former serial killer. Alexis didn’t see the smirk that crossed Ryan’s face. Sean came up to Jax and Sam. Ms. McCall assured Jax that Sean wasn’t the person who shot Hayden (Rebecca Budig). Sam told Jax how Sean went to prison instead of cooperating with the police and giving them evidence against Sonny. Jax talked about how he’s tried to find Hayden. After Jason (Steve Burton) assured he’d help her and make her problem go away, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) confessed Finn (Michael Easton) accidentally killed Peter (Wes Ramsey) and August’s body was inside a freezer in GH’s sub-basement. Anna (Finola Hughes) told Finn about the pilot identifying a dark haired man on the roof with Peter. She added her belief that the man went up to the roof to confront Peter but something happened to Peter. Now the man was afraid to come forward because of all the people who depended on him. Elizabeth burst into Finn’s office not knowing Anna was there. Finn ushered her out but assured everything would be okay. Jason ran another awkward run in with Britt. He called Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and asked the hacker to disable the security cameras at GH. Terry told Britt if she refused to accept the co-Chief of Staff position she’d be letting Jason win. Jason was in GH’s sub-basement and located the freezer containing Peter’s body. Monica’s head of security told her that someone was trying to disable the hospital security system. Finn brought Anna to the sub-basement. She asked whether it was where Peter hid. Finn pointed out the freezer and said Peter was inside.

Tuesday

Finn (Michael Easton) brought Anna (Finola Hughes) to GH’s sub-basement and told her Peter (Wes Ramsey) didn’t escape…he was in the freezer. Carly (Laura Wright) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) were at The Metro Court pool when Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) arrived and greeted Carly. Spencer told Carly was sorry to hear about Uncle Sonny (Maurice Benard). When he commented about her and Cameron (William Lipton), Josslyn again pushed him in the pool. She argued he had a big mouth and it shouldn’t be going off about things he didn’t know. Carly gave Spencer a towel so he could dry off. After he walked away, Carly told her daughter that Josslyn had to stop pushing Spencer into the pool because it was a hazard and Nikolas (Maurice Coloma) could sue The Metro Court. Trina (Sydney Mikayla) commented to Portia (Brook Kerr) their creaky front door was a good alarm system. Jason called Spinelli asking whether he found “it.” Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) met with Scott (Kin Shriner) at GH and asked “ How does the law classify justifiable homicide?” “Peter August is dead. I killed him” Finn confessed. Stella arrived at Jordan’s (Briana Henry) office and asked what she was doing to get Curtis (Donnell Turner) back. Sean (Sean Blakemore) thanked Curtis for being there for TJ (Taj Bellows). Curtis offered Sean a job, saying he needed someone he can trust to work for him at The Savoy. Portia told Trina she was out with Terry last night and spent time with Curtis at The Savoy. “How do you feel about that?” Portia asked her daughter. Scott urged Elizabeth to tell him everything so he could help her get out of the mess she got herself in. Finn told Anna how he checked for a pulse and breathing but Peter was already gone. He added his concern was keeping Chase (Josh Swickward) alive plus he couldn’t risk leaving Violet alone when she’d already been abandoned by her mother. “And you couldn’t come to me?” Anna asked. She commented how Finn couldn’t have moved Peter’s body into the freezer alone. Finn insisted he was the only one responsible for Peter’s death. Anna said sadly as much as Peter hated Faison, he was exactly like his father so there was only one way this could have turned out. Trina told her mother she just wanted her to be happy then asked whether Commissioner Ashford knew of Portia’s interest in dating Curtis. Jordan told Stella how she saw Curtis kiss Portia at The Savoy. Jordan said Curtis was moving on so she had to do the same. And with that, Jordan signed the divorce papers and told Stella she felt better because now there was no looking back and they both could now move on. Josslyn told Carly she didn’t tell her about her and Cameron because she wasn’t sure what was happening between them yet. When Sean approached, Carly and Josslyn each greeted Butler with a hug. After Josslyn walked away, Carly offered him his old job with the Corinthos organization. But Sean declined saying he already accepted a position at The Savoy. Portia told Curtis about her talk with Trina and how understanding her daughter was about Curtis and Portia dating. She added she and Trina were becoming friends, which she really needed now. When Jordan was called away because she was needed in the interrogation room, Stella took the signed divorce papers from the Outgoing Mail bin on the police commissioner’s desk and put it in her purse. When Anna and Finn opened the freezer, they found it empty. Jason told Elizabeth when he went to move Peter’s body, it wasn’t in the freezer.

Wednesday

At The Metro Court, Carly thought about when she took off the rings Sonny (Maurice Benard) gave her and accepted Jason’s (Steve Burton) ring. Laura (Genie Francis) and Carly started talking when Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) interrupted asking the date of Carly and Jason’s wedding. Brando (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) discussed moving in together. Carly told Gladys she wouldn’t be on the guest list. Before anything escalated between Gladys and Carly, Brando pulled his mother away. Laura told Carly how she and Kevin were friends first and how it grew into love. Back at Sasha and Brando’s table, Gladys asked about her grandchild. Sasha said the baby was her number one priority. Brando told his mother it was time for her to move out. Trina (Sydney Mikayla) told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) it was strange her mother was dating, especially because of the man she was seeing. Josslyn was surprised to learn Portia was dating Curtis Ashford. Trina worried that Curtis cheated on Jordan with her mother. Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) kissed. Curtis asked Portia whether she told Trina they dated while she was still married to Taggert. Portia responded that she didn’t tell Trina about their previous relationship. Curtis reminded Portia when so many people knew a secret it was bound to get out. Portia angrily asked Curtis why he was pushing her to go against her better judgement and tell her daughter a secret that served no purpose. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) came to Jordan’s (Briana Henry)’s office and they discussed Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) accomplice. Anna (Finola Hughes) and Finn (Michael Easton) opened the freezer and found it empty. Anna asked who else knew he killed Peter. Jason and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) speculated on whether someone moved Peter’s body to protect her. Anna asked Finn whether there was a possibility Peter was still alive when he put him in the freezer. Brando told Gladys he needed the extra room to make a nursery. Gladys asked where she would live and how she would pay for it. Brando said she could get a job. Sasha offered to hire her at Deception answering phones and scheduling appointments. She appealed to Gladys’ need to be seen as someone important in the cosmetic industry. Sasha told Gladys she could have free Deception samples and didn’t have to serve coffee. GH’s head of security took Dante and Jordan to the sub-basement where they were surprised to find Anna and Finn. Anna said she was there following up on a lead about Peter and Finn said he was there helping her. Dante discovered blood by the freezer. Forensics and the K-9 unit were called to gather evidence. Anna told Jordan hers and Finn’s DNA were all over the place. After Dante and Jordan left, Finn thanked Anna for covering for him. She suggested he speak with Elizabeth. Jason told Elizabeth there was no way to tell who moved Peter’s body. When Finn entered, Elizabeth said Jason knew everything. He confirmed so did Anna but he kept Liz out of it. Jason said Finn and Elizabeth were safe for now.

Thursday

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) walked in on Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) sharing a kiss. After Josslyn left, Cameron asked his mother whether she was mad he didn’t tell her he and Josslyn were together. He added he always shared information like this with Franco (Roger Howarth). Cameron was worried about his mom. Elizabeth assured she would try to be as happy as Franco would have wanted her to be. Chase (Josh Swickward) came to the Quartermaine mansion with a present for Bailey. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) apologized to Chase for the part he played in the man Peter (Wes Ramsey) grew up to be. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) asked Anna (Finola Hughes) why she was holding out on him and didn’t tell him about her and Finn (Michael Easton) checking GH’s sub-basement. Anna said it was a spur of the moment part of her investigation. Dante told Anna forensics found blood splattered which proves Peter was carried. Valentin left to meet with Anna. Chase overheard Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) tell Bailey she wasn’t her real mother. Brook Lynn covered by saying she didn’t feel like a mother. Chase understood how she was feeling and admitted he felt like he’s going through the motions as Willow’s (Katelyn MacMuellen) husband. Chase sang Bailey a lullaby. At The Metro Court pool, Spencer’s (Nicholas Chavez) comment reminded Ava (Maura West) she couldn’t be with her daughter. The Metro Court dining room, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) told Sam (Kelly Monaco) about Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) being in the same facility as Alexis (Nancy Grahan) but he wasn’t a danger. Ava entered and ordered a drink at the bar. She told Nikolas about being reminded she couldn’t be with her daughter. Nikolas told Ava about Ryan and how he couldn’t be the stalker. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) questioned Dante about his visit with Lulu (Emme Rylan) and whatever was going on between him and Sam. Spencer offered to throw a party at Wyndemere and told Trina, Cameron and Josslyn to “Get ready for the biggest rager Port Charles has ever seen.” Sam came over to see Elizabeth and asked her about Hayden (Rebecca Herbst) and anything her sister might have said to her to help identify her shooter. After Sam left, Elizabeth called Nikolas and asked him to come over to talk about what he did to Hayden. Spencer came to Ava and offered his hand to declare a truce. Anna told Valentin that Finn was the man on the roof with Peter, how he pushed him down a flight of stairs and hid him in a freezer in GH’s sub-basement when he thought he was dead. Valentin said they had to know for certain whether Peter was dead and if he wasn’t and just hiding out, they had to find him. Valentin vowed he’d kill Peter himself before he let him hurt anyone he loved.

Friday

Spencer (Nikolas Chavez) came to Ava (Maura West) and offered his hand to declare a truce. But Ava said it wasn’t necessary because she was out of Nikolas’ (Marcus Coloma) life. Carly (Laura Wright) told Jason (Steve Burton) that Wiley’s birthday party will be their first event as a couple. Chase (Josh Swikward) told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) he couldn’t wait for the day he could walk up to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Sam (Kelly Monaco) met with Sean (Sean Blakemore). Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) told Nikolas that Sam was there asking about Hayden’s shooting. Austin (Roger Howarth) arrived at the Quartermaine mansion with a birthday present for Wiley. Elizabeth told Nikolas she remembered something he said back then that he had Hayden shot. Ava reminded Spencer his father couldn’t take no for an answer that their marriage was over. Austin said he was there because Michael (Chad Duell) invited him. Willow told Michael how Chase came with her to her son’s grave. And although she’ll always be grateful to Chase for everything he’s done for her, Willow wished Michael had been the one with her at the grave. A woman visited Johan Michael Corinthos’ grave, left flowers and touched the headstone. Nikolas told Elizabeth he was lying when he said he had Hayden shot. Sam reminded Sean that it’ll be hard getting new evidence in Hayden’s shooting because it’s now a cold case. Spencer asked Ava why she was sending his father mixed signals. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) questioned why Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was seemingly welcoming Austin into the Quartermaine family. After agreeing next year they’d celebrate Wiley’s birthday as a family, Willow and Michael kissed. “You need to be honest. We both know Sean Butler didn’t shoot Hayden, was it you?” Elizabeth asked Nikolas. Austin asked Chase what he thought of the Quartermaines. “Do I need to watch my back like everyone says?” Valentin wonders why Brook Lynn appeared to be shaken by Austin. Brook Lynn commented she believed Austin knows more about Maxie’s baby then he was saying. Chase told Austin if his claim was legit he’d find a place in the Quartermaine family. Carly and Jason almost caught WIllow and Michael kissing. After Jason and Michael took Wiley’s presents up to the main house, Carly asked Willow what she was doing. Ava assured she wasn’t sending Nikolas mixed signals and questioned the olive branch Spencer extended. Brook Lynn was nervous when Austin told Chase how he’s been having a dream about hearing two women talking after he was knocked over the head the night Maxie’s (Kristen Storms) baby was born. Carly reminded Willow she was a terrible liar and if she could see how much she loved Michael, others would too. Michael told Jason he felt both happy and guilty because he loved Willow and was keeping the truth from Chase. Sam urged Sean to enjoy his fresh start. Elizabeth wondered if neither Sean or Nikolas shot Hayden, who did? Spencer told Ava his fear something would happen to his father because of the stalker. “Please Ava, help me protect my father from himself.” Nikolas told Elizabeth they probably will never know who shot Hayden. Elizabeth commented how they found happiness with Ava and Franco until life got in the way. Spencer demanded Ava make his father understand they were over. Willow admitted to Carly it was getting harder and harder to hide his feelings for Michael. Carly told Willow she thought of her as a daughter. Willow said she was grateful to be a part of Carly’s family. Valentin suggested he and Austin have lunch sometime to talk about Valentin’s continued leadership. When Jason and Michael entered, Michael decided to get business out of the way and told Austin. “ELQ is a Quartermaine company and should be run by Quartermaines. Ned is the CEO, not Valentin.” Chase went into an empty room and started to get out of his wheelchair. Sean told Sam he had to find the person who tried to kill Hayden.”Who knows how many people they’ve hurt.” Nikolas urged Elizabeth it was time for her to put the past behind her. “Life goes on.” Ava told Spencer was right and she had to make Nikolas understand they were over. Willow answered the door at the Quartermaine mansion and was surprised by who was on the other side.
