A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Monte Carlo, Monaco. Sam (Kelly Monaco) asked Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) whether she looked the part of a rich jetsetter enough for them to find Drew (Cameron Mathison). At The Savoy, Nina (Cynthia Watros) how she made a mistake and she may not be able to come back from Curtis (Donnell Turner). Ava (Maura West) came in on Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) confronting Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) about being Ava’s stalker. She said she had a strange conversation with Esme and when she spoke with Trina (Sydney Mikayla) she told her to get there. Carly (Laura Wright) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) that Nina was on her mind and she knew why Nina kept the secret that he was alive. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) arrived at Kelly’s and told Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) how Nina (Cynthia Watros) knew Sonny (Maurice Benard) was alive for almost a year and kept it from the family. Although she didn’t condone it, Willow reasoned Nina’s actions probably had something to do with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and what happened with her daughter. Carly asked Sonny why he didn’t tell her that Nina knew he was alive. She told him how Josslyn called Jason (Steve Burton) after Maxie (Kristen Storms) told her Nina knew he was alive because she was worried. Sonny commented he was glad Carly had Jason to help her. Spencer told Ava that Esme only torched her car because she was following his orders. He insisted he was sorry and asked for Ava’s forgiveness. Ava asked whether he was really sorry for what he did or because his plan didn’t work. She added it was one thing for him to target her but he got her daughter involved by trying to make her believe Avery was in danger. Nikolas said he couldn’t forgive his son and added he wanted him out of the house and his life. Curtis talked with Nina about his divorce from Jordan. Just then, Willow and Michael arrived. Michael confronted Nina for allowing his family to believe Sonny was dead and considered not allowing her to see Wiley again. But once they were alone, Willow commented she knew Michael was angry but he had to consider whether Nina not seeing Wiley was best for their son. Dante and Sam posed as a couple having an argument to get information for their case. At Kelly’s, Trina told Esme hers and Spencer’s plan stalking Ava didn’t work because of the Bora Bora lie and Esme running to Mr. Corinthos with the information. Trina added that Spencer confessed to everything. Spencer entered Kelly’s and announced to Esme, Trina, Cameron and Josslyn that his father threw him out of the house and his life and would probably cut him off again. When they were alone outside, Trina told Spencer she wished she could have met him as Spencer and not Victor. And if he told her his plan, she would have convinced him it was wrong and not gone along with it like Esme. Ava and Nicholas burned their divorce papers. Sonny took Carly by the hand and they went upstairs.

Tuesday

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) kept Dallas busy while Sam (Kelly Monaco) prepared to pick a door lock. Peter (Wes Ramsey) refused to thank Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) from extracting him from Nixon Falls. Anna (Finola Hughes) was at the US Consulate Office. After leaving a voicemail message for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) she was surprised to see Robert (Tristan Rogers). Valentin awoke in Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) cell. “You’re awake. Welcome to Hell.” Anna reminded Robert she’s a current WSB Agent while he’s the DA of Port Charles. But Robert was determined to get information to get Maxie’s (Kristen Storms) baby back. Drew told Valentin how his plane crash was staged in order to abduct him, how Peter August was part of it but the real boss was Victor Cassadine. Portia (Brooke Kerr) came to The Savoy and joined Curtis (Donnell Turner) for a drink. He told her if she hadn’t been at Roger Barstow’s house he wouldn’t have been able to get Jordan (Briana Henry) out in time. Robert warned Anna she shouldn’t trust Valentin. Drew told Valentin how Liesl (Kathleen Gati) was there and treated his injuries and told him about Peter and Maxie’s baby. Victor is helping Peter find his daughter…but what is Victor getting out of the deal? Victor asked Peter whether he learned the key to trigger Drew with the information he needed. And if not, why was he keeping him around? After Sam was caught, Dallas told her and Drew that Shiloh hired her and paid her two million dollars to fake a plane crash a couple of years ago. Sam and Dante realized it was Drew’s plane. Dallas told them Shiloh was the third party for someone with deep pockets. Drew and Valentin shared information about Nurse Chloe Jennings. Valentin told Drew how Chloe was in a single car accident crash and was currently unconscious at the US Consulate. Anna was told that Chloe Jennings was awake. Anna told Chloe she had information to help them. Chloe said she’d cooperate. Peter told Victor if he can get his daughter and her mother for him, he’ll get him the key. Drew asked Valentin about Scout. The guard came to take Valentin to Victor. As he was being dragged out, Valentin asked Drew to kill Peter if he got out of this. Chloe confirmed the information Anna knew about Peter kidnapping her and replacing her with the fake Nurse Chloe Jennings and verified Drew was alive. She told Anna and Robert how Drew helped her escape and called him brave. Victor told Valentin he brought him to him because he needed his help with Peter. Portia told Curtis how hard it is preparing Trina (Sydney Mikayla) for life now that she’s an adult. Sam told Dante how she fell in love with a man she thought was Jason (Steve Burton) and never really knew the real Drew Cain. Victor told Valentin that Peter had betrayed him and unless they worked together he’d kill them both. Peter entered Drew’s cell and pointed his gun at him. Drew called Peter a coward who wouldn’t think twice about shooting a man sporting handcuffs. Peter pulled out a Tarot card reading The Tower and said the soldier (Drew) was active and he had a new assignment for him.

Wednesday

Due to ongoing breaking news coverage, today’s scheduled episode of General Hospital will now air tomorrow. #GH

Thursday

Sam (Kelly Monaco) told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) she couldn’t say anything to Scout about her father being alive until she saw Drew (Cameron Mathison) with her own eyes. Anna (Finola Hughes) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) continued their search for Drew. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) told Victor he didn’t believe he was in any danger from Peter (Wes Ramsey) and was trying to manipulate him. Victor assured that wasn’t true, adding he was the only Cassadine who cared about him when Valentin was a child. Maxie (Kristen Storms) told Austin (Roger Howarth) how she had BJ’s heart. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) told Chase (Josh Swickward) she’s bothered by would-be Quartermaine Austin. She told him how Austin diagnosed Leo as austic but she believes he has an agenda. Chase urged Brook Lynn to give Austin a chance. When he assumed Brook Lynn was her best friend, Maxie told Austin about their history. But wondered whether she and Brook Lynn could be friends. Maxie worried when Austin commented how he heard Brook Lynn say she was the bravest person she knew as Ms. Quartermaine said that right after Maxie handed Louise to Brook Lynn. And Austin was unconscious after being knocked out by Brook Lynn. Anna worried when she learned Valentin had checked out telling Robert he’d never leave without telling her. She asked the man she met in the cafe about whether he gave her friend her message. The man assured he did and insisted he saw her friend leave. Anna knew he was lying. She slammed him down on a table, then pulled up his sleeve. She and Robert saw the Cassadine tattoo. Soon, Anna and Robert found themselves engaged in a shootout. Sam told Dante about the text Anna sent saying the real Nurse Chloe Jennings was found in a hospital in Crete and that Drew helped her escape. Sam added she only wanted to find Drew for Scout. Dante was relieved to hear that and told Sam he liked her and wanted to see where this was headed. He wanted to ask her out on an official date but said he wanted to take things slowly. Brook Lynn arrived at GH and asked Austin about Leo. Valentin didn’t believe Victor’s claim that he was the man Helena (Constance Towers) had the affair with and was his father. He said he also played a role in Valentin getting the position at the WSB. But for now they had to table this discussion and figure out a way to take down Peter. Anna managed to wing the shooter in the shoulder. When the man removed his ski mask later, we saw it was Drew obviously acting under the trigger Peter initiated.

Friday

Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) were spending a relaxing morning when the guard announced Sonny had a visitor. At The Metro Court, Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) asked Nina (Cynthia Watros) whether she sent her mother after Peter (Wes Ramsey) to protect Maxie (Kristen Storms) or herself. Nina asked about Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt told her there was no her and Jason. Then Nina left. Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Trina (Sydney Mikayla) were also at The Metro Court talking about PCU. Trina told her mother that Ava (Maura West) reunited with husband because she (Trina) unmasked Ava’s stalker. Ava and Nikolas basked in their reconcillation. Nikolas had an alert placed on Spencer’s credit card and received a text that his son booked a room at The Metro Court last night. When he had Spencer’s access to his credit card cut off, Ava wondered whether that was a good idea. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) stayed at The Metro Court after Nikolas threw him out. “Why in the Hell would you tell my uncle, the alleged mob kingpin, that my father was leaving town and taking his daughter?!” Spencer demanded. Esme tried to reason her actions. A woman from the concierge arrived and told Spencer his card was declined for a second night stay. Portia was livid Spencer was behind Ava’s stalking and the fake blood doused all over Trina at the gallery. She didn’t want her daughter blaming herself because she was the person who uncovered Spencer’s deceit. Trina left to go see Ava. Sonny’s visitor was Phyllis (Joyce Guy). He introduced her as a good friend to both him and Mike. Carly thanked Phyllis for taking care of Sonny, expressed her sympathies over the loss of Phyllis’ husband and asked Phyllis to call her Carly instead of Mrs. Corinthos. Phyllis returned a box of Sonny’s things recovered from The Tano. Carly commented on all the flannel shirts and black cowboy hat from the Fireman’s Dance then left for The Metro Court which gave Phyllis and Sonny a chance to talk alone. Esme and Spencer came downstairs to The Metro Court dining room. Spencer saw Britt and said he had a deal to offer her. He suggested he and Esme stay with her and was surprised that Britt, a GH Chief of Staff, was still living at The Metro Court. Britt said it was more convenient with her demanding position. Britt was angry when Spencer revealed he was Ava’s stalker. She declined his offer. Carly approached and scolded Spencer for the stunt he pulled, accusing him of being enabled by his father. Carly demanded he take responsibility for his actions. At Kelly’s, Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) were discussing Esme and Spencer when Nina entered. Spencer left to get back to his shift. Josslyn told Nina she had something for her and pulled out the journal Nina gave her as a graduation present. She explained how the pages included her feelings over Sonny’s death and the loss her family was going through which was all a lie. Josslyn ripped out the pages and returned what was left of the journal back to Nina and said she never wanted to see her or it again. Portia ran into Nikolas as he was entering and she was leaving The Metro Court. She called him and his son dysfunctional and warned he and his son had better stay away from his daughter. Trina came to see Ava. She apologizes for not coming to Ava sooner when Spencer asked her to keep his return to Port Charles a secret. Ava told Trina not to blame herself but felt badly when she remembered how excited Trina was when she talked about Victor. Just then, Spencer arrived looking for his father in the hope of making amends. Josslyn saw Esme asking Cameron’s help for Spencer. Phyllis said she wasn’t ready to cut Nina out of her life and asked whether Sonny felt the same.
