A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Nina (Cynthia Watros) was surprised when Maxie (Kristen Storms) arrived at The Tan-o. Maxie wanted to meet Nina’s mystery man. Austin (Roger Howarth) called Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to cancel their lunch appointment as something came up. Ned (Wally Kurth) was at GH and asked what it would take to drop the lawsuit. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) told Michael (Chad Duell) she decided to come clean and tell Chase (Josh Swickward) that she’s in love with him (Michael) and wants to be with him. Martin (Michael E. Knight) and Jordan (Briana Henry) arrive at the Collins’ place. Jordan told Laura that she got word from the FBI that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) took out a contract out on his siblings…he wanted them dead. And months in prison has given him time to think about how he felt being betrayed by the brother and sister whose acceptance he craved. Jordan told Laura and Martin the only way they could be safe would be to go into protective custody. Maxie told Nina about Peter (Wes Ramsey) possibly being dead or was hiding in GH’s sub-basement before fleeing Port Charles. As Maxie wasn’t sure whether it was safe to return home and reclaim Louise, she asked Nina to let her stay in Nixon Falls so she could find peace with her decision to stay away from Louise. At The Metro Court pool, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) arrived with Leo, interrupting Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Leo cut his finger. Sam walked away and approached Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin. She told Valentin she needed his help and it involved Peter August. Sam told her about the call from someone pretending to be Drew. Austin refused to drop the lawsuit, reasoning Ned wanted to make him an offer to do so must mean he felt Austin could win. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) questioned Chase about why he kept the secret when he started walking. She read Edward’s letter in which he said he was considering changing his will and reinstating Jimmy Lee. Chase admitted he was planning to give the letter to Austin to get back at Michael. He told Brook Lynn he knew Willow and Michael were sleeping together. Brook Lynn felt badly Chase was hurt, but she reminded he would be hurting her family by giving Austin the letter to use against the Quartermaines. Michael took Willow; he wanted to come with her when she came clean to Chase. Although he wanted to come with her, Laura urged Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) to stay in Port Charles to be there for Spencer (Nicholas Chavez). Austin treated Leo’s injured finger, telling Olivia when she wanted to take her son to his pediatrician, he preferred finishing things he started. Later, he heard Chase’s voicemail about Edward’s lawyer’s letter. Willow and Michael returned to the Quartermaine mansion to speak with Chase. Maxie was being watched as she left The Tan-o to return to Texas. It was a Peter!

Tuesday

Drew (Cameron Mathison) had a vision of Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Scout in which she said “Say hello to your daddy.” Sam told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) she knew Drew was alive. Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) found Peter (Wes Ramsey) lurking outside The Tan-o and commented he looked like he’d seen a ghost. Peter answered this was unfortunate until he realized Sonny didn’t remember who he was. So Peter introduced himself as writer Peter St. Clair. Peter said sold everything he owned and was looking for a quiet place to settle down. Maxie (Kristen Storms) called Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and told her she was coming home tonight. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) said she had something to tell Chase (Josh Swickward) him and asked for an annulment. Chase admitted he knew she was in love with Michael (Chad Duell) and that they slept together on Wiley’s birthday. Michael reminded Chase about lying when you felt you were doing something right. Willow assured she only slept with Michael the one time as she had every intention of honoring their marriage values. Chase thought it ironic his lie was the beginning of the end for them. It was his turn to be honest. Chase stood and started walking. He told Willow and Michael he was only playing the dutiful husband so he could search for the proof Edward was planning on reinstating Jimmy Lee in his will. When Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) declined Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) request for time off, Liz went to Terry (Cassandra James) who granted it. When she found out, Britt reminded as co-Chiefs they couldn’t allow the staff to pit them against each other. Taking Dr. Westbourne’s words to heart, Terry scolded Elizabeth for not giving her the full information. But Britt came up and said she found someone to cover Nurse Webber’s shift. Britt and Terry were finally acting like partners. The real Nurse Chloe entered Drew’s cell to treat his wounds. She explained how she was taken prisoner after a job interview. Drew gave Chloe the tool he was going to use to pick the lock of his cuffs so she could report him and gain the guards’ trust. The ruse worked. Drew vowed daddy would come home to Scout. Carly told Jason (Steve Burton) she didn’t know why she was nervous about their upcoming wedding. She was surprised to see Maxie. Ms. Jones explained she refused to let Peter force her to put her life on hold. Maxie asked whether she could be Carly and Jason’s wedding planner. Mike/Sonny took Peter inside The Tan-o. Nina (Cynthia Watros) dropped the tray of glasses she was holding. Peter made his re-acquaintance with fellow magazine executive Nina Reeves. He learned Mike had amnesia. When Mike/Sonny left to bring Phyllis a photo album, Peter asked Nina what mess she got herself into as Nina reached for the gun behind the bar. Brook Lynn told Austin she knew what he was up to with Chase. Austin said it was Chase’s decision to help him and provide the evidence he needed. Austin entered the room where Chase, Willow and Michael were and asked for Edward’s lawyer’s letter.

Wednesday

Chase (Josh Swickward) decided not to go after the Quartermaines because of what Michael (Chad Duell) did so he gave Edward’s letter to him. “Do what you want with it. I’m done with all of this” Chase said, leaving his wheelchair behind. Austin (Roger Howarth) commented that the best man won. At The Metro Court pool, Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) expressed his annoyance to Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) that his grandmother unexpectedly left town and Kevin thinks he can tell him what to do. When Trina arrived, Esme told her Spence told her Trina knew he was in town long before he told everyone else. Spencer left to get some drinks. Esme told Trina she was above the jealous girlfriend thing and didn’t blame her for Spencer not mentioning he had a girlfriend. Esme added she wanted them to be friends. Cameron (William Lipton) joined Josslyn (Eden McCoy) for an awkward dinner with her parents as you could cut the tension between Jax (Ingo Rachmacher) and Carly (Laura Wright) with a knife. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) left to talk with Chase. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Michael berated Austin for using Chase to get what he wanted. But although Austin used underhanded methods to get what he wanted, Michael refused to be like the Quartermaines and keep what was due to Austin from him. And with that, Michael gave him Edward’s lawyer’s letter. Willow came to Chase’s apartment. She talked about how he was there for her during a rough time and how she hoped to build a life with him. Chase accepted responsibility for their breakup due to his lie about the affair with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). But he truly thought when they got back together she loved him as much as he loved her. Mike (Maurice Benard) comforted Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) who held Lenny’s marine hat and cried. Carly (Laura Wright) reminded Maxie (Kristen Storms) she wanted an understated wedding. Maxie ran into Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) holding Bailey/Louise. Peter (Wes Ramsey) pulled his gun on Nina (Cynthia Watros) and demanded they play nice. She released her hand from the gun behind the bar and put her cellphone down on the table as he requested. When they sat down, Peter told Nina he had to lay low after Maxie gave his false confession to Mac (John J.York) while he searched for his precious Louise. “A search that led me here.” Valentin told Maxie he was giving Bailey of Deception. He added something has changed in Louise’s case. Valentin shared his belief Peter was alive and would use his vast resources to find Louise. Peter asked Nina to share her story about how she ended up in Nixon Falls with a not so dead Sonny Corinthos. Cards on the table, Peter demanded Nina give him a base of operations in Nixon Falls while she got information from Valentin to help him find his daughter. He threatened James would make an adequate replacement if he didn’t have Louise and he’d also tell Carly Corinthos where to find his husband “And who he’s been spending his time with.” Nina reluctantly accepted Peter’s deal. Phyllis reminded Mike/Sonny he found the same thing with Nina that she did with Lenny and shouldn’t be afraid to go after what he wanted. Carly reminded Jax the days of raising Josslyn were over. They were now her parents, nothing more since Jax destroyed the trust between them. Cameron and Josslyn arrived at The Metro Court pool just in time to hear Esme suggest mani pedis for her and Trina. Josslyn told Esme she and Trina would be busy with college activities. Chase and Willow said goodbye to their short marriage. Willow gave him back her wedding ring. Valentin asked Maxie to hold Bailey while he spoke with Austin. Maxie was happy to have the moment alone with her daughter. Austin told Valentin he got the keys to the Quartermaine board room and would see Valentin there. Mike/Sonny returned to The Tan-o and asked whether Nina enjoyed catching up with her friend. Peter told Mike/Sonny that Nina was helping him get set up in Nixon Falls and he welcomed the chance to get to know Mike better.

Thursday

Finn (Michael Easton) was surprised to find Chase (Josh Swickward) walking when he arrived at his brother’s apartment. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Finn asked. Although she wanted to spend last night alone to process everything that happened with Chase, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) assured Michael (Chad Duell) she needed him. Brooklyn (Amanda Setton) realized Bailey’s favorite pacifier was missing. Maxie (Kristen Storms) put the pacifier in her pocket. She discussed her ideas for the wedding with Carly (Laura Wright). Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told Jason (Steve Burton) about the weird passive aggressive argument her parents had at dinner, reasoning it was because of Jason. Peter (Wes Ramsey) spent the night at Nina’s as she had no choice. He introduced himself to Phyllis (Juliette Jeffries). Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) noticed the tense vibes between Nina and Peter. Maxie told Carly the wedding will be one to remember. Chase told Finn that Willow and Michael were together. But although it hurt, Chase said he understood. Willow told Michael after their talk, she and Chase were able to get back where they were , wanting the best for each other. Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) showed her mother the wedding notice that Carly and Jason set a date. She told Liesl even though it was short, what she and Jason had was significant. Michael reminded Brook Lynn that Valentin was a good CEO and ELQ was in the black so if Austin (Roger Howarth) got the shares and voted Valentin in, it wouldn’t be so bad. Chase told Finn if he had to do it again he would because the important thing was Willow and Michael ended up with Wiley. State Trooper Ralph came to The Tan-o and when he was introduced to Peter, he said “I know you.” When she learned Maxie was planning Carly and Jason’s wedding, Liesl angrily reminded Jason Morgan broke Britta’s heart. Jason told Josslyn whatever was going on between him and her parents was between them and he didn’t want her to take it on herself. Josslyn commented how her mom couldn’t give her advice about college because she never attended and could only imagine what she thought of the college experience. Jason said Carly may not have gone to college but found her place in an unknown world. Peter told Nina she just made a fatal mistake trying to give the state trooper clues to who he really was. Willow told Brook Lynn she got sketchy vibes from Austin and didn’t believe he had the family’s best interest in mind. Brook Lynn left the room to put Bailey down for her when Jason entered. Michael told Jason that he and Willow were finally together. Finn suggested Chase join him, Elizabeth and the boys on their camping trip. Chase said he’d think about it. Jason asked Michael to be his best man. Josslyn agreed to be Carly’s maid of honor. Britt wanted Maxie to give Carly and Jason a great wedding, reasoning Jason deserved a happy ending. Nina called Liesl and told her aunt she needed her help. Mike/Sonny commented to Peter that Nina didn’t seem to like him very much.

Friday

Jax (Ingo Radmacher) came to The Metro Court and apologized to Carly (Laura Wright) for the awkward dinner with Josslyn (Eden McCoy). A member of The Five Families entered with Jason (Steve Burton). He told Carly he received the Save The Date card and said to consider this his RSVP. After Jason walked the man to the bar, Jax told Carly if that man was any indication on the type of people attending “Our daughter won’t be anywhere near your wedding.” Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) brought Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) with him when he came to visit Alexis (Nancy Grahan). Ava (Maura West) visited Kiki’s grave when Nicholas (Marcus Coloma) approached. He told her he was wrong when he convinced himself Spencer was her stalker. Spencer introduced Alexis to Esme. When he spotted Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), Spencer said someone needed to permanently put that freak of nature out of his misery. Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Liesl (Kathleen Gati) that Peter (Wes Ramsey) was in Nixon Falls. Liesl assured she’s take care of it. Mike/Sonny (Maurice Benard) said he got the feeling Nina didn’t like Peter. “I think it’s probably time to get outta town.” Overhearing, Phyllis apologized for Mike/Sonny’s rudeness. Scott (Kin Shriner) called the letter from Edward’s lawyer a gold mine. Carly told Jax he wasn’t invited to her wedding and better not crash. Nina told Liesl how Peter threatened to take James as a replacement for her daughter if she didn’t help him find Louise. Liesl reminded Nina there was only one way to handle Henrik. Nina lied she was speaking about Deception business when Peter asked who she was talking to as she ended her call. He again threatened to take James and reveal she’s been playing footsie with Carly’s husband; she’d never be able to show her face in Port Charles again. He gave her twenty-four hours before he revealed her secret. Alexis urged Spencer to forgive his father. Esme asked Harmony (Inga Canadrel) whether she could speak with Ryan. Ava told Nicholas she had to leave Port Charles and would only come back once the stalker was caught. Harmony warned Alexis that Esme was trouble. Maxie told Jax how she saw Nina and Nixon Falls and that Nina had a new man in her life. Liesl gave Nina information that would establish Liesl’s alibi. Carly and Jason reminisced about their time at Jake’s. They shared a dance which almost led to a kiss but Carly pulled back. Mike told Phyllis he thinks Peter knew who he was before they met yesterday.
