A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Scott (Kin Shriner) arrives at Britt’s (Kelly Thiebauld) office. With Jason present, Britt told Scott that he was going to help them find her mother. Jason called Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). When Spinelli arrived, Scott was asked to hand over his computer to the hacker. Drew (Cameron Mathison) asked Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) help getting Peter (Wes Ramsey) out of his head. Sadly there was little Liesl could do in their current situation. Anna (Finola Hughes) announced she’d lead the team to find Peter. Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) realized they had to rescue Drew before the WSB and all hell broke loose. But Robert (Tristan Rogers) had a WSB guard keep an eye on them so they couldn’t interfer with Anna and the WSB’s intent on storming the compound. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) asked his guard Russell why he was still being held captive if he was Victor’s son (Charles Shaughnessey). Russell answered cryptically. Victor ordered his guards to execute Peter (Wes Ramsey) but was shocked when his men turned on him and Peter announced they now worked with him. Liesl urged Drew to focus on getting back to his daughter Scout. Although she doesn’t know Sam well, Liesl said she believes her to be the kind of woman who wouldn’t let her daughter forget her father. Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brooke Kerr) went on a date. He shared with her a fond childhood memory of his father. Portia said she’d like to get to know his aunt Stella (Vernee Watson). While they talked, a mysterious man watched from the shadows. Spinelli explained that a spyware program was added to Scott’s computer and the person who placed it was able to access Baldwin’s search history. So they knew about his plan to go with Liesl to St. Lucia and created phony popup ads about a special for a private plane. Spinelli found out Liesl was on Crete. Britt told Scott that she was there because of Peter and he was working with the not-so dead Victor Cassadine. Victor was put in the room with Valentin. When Peter learned the WSB had breached the compound, he ordered Russell to shoot Victor or Valentin if they tried anything. Peter came to Drew’s cell to give Cain another assignment. “Not again” Drew said and overpowered August. He shot Russell in the leg. But Victor left the room not wanting to take a chance of being recaptured by Peter. Sam convinced the WSB agent to tell her where the compound was so she could help rescue her daughter’s father. Anna and Robert found Drew’s cell but no sign of him. Sam and Dante arrived at the compound. They found Victor hiding from Peter but no Drew. Anna and Robert hid near a footbridge when they heard someone coming. It was Drew and Valentin. Anna watched in horror as Peter shot Valentin then Drew, who fell in the water.

Tuesday

Anna (Finola Hughes) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) found a footbridge near the compound and hid in a clearing waiting for Peter (Wes Ramsey). “I’m not going to shoot to kill,” Anna told Robert. “I am,” Robert said. A mysterious man watched Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brooke Kerr) from the shadows. Portia wasn’t happy to see Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma). “Wherever Nikolas Cassadine goes, trouble follows,” Portia said. Nikolas asked Ava to put her wedding rings back on. They drank a toast to their union. Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) arrived. Jason walked away while Britt sat at Ava and Nikolas’ table. She talked about the nightmares he used to have about the Cassadines and asked whether he’s thought about his family lately. She told him about Scott’s (Kin Shriner) computer being hacked in order to get her mother. Anna and Robert heard someone coming. It was Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Drew (Cameron Mathison). Anna watched in horror as Peter shot Valentin in the back. ALthough wounded, Valentin managed to make it to Anna and Robert. Drew wasn’t so lucky. He was shot by Peter and fell off the footbridge into the water. Anna and Robert exchanged gunfire with Peter who fled. Anna worried about Valentin and tended to his gunshot wound. Victor was worried about Liesl, who he felt was in more danger from Peter than Drew was. He took Sam and Dante to Liesl’s cell but she was gone. They found a syringe on the floor. Sam went to find Drew’s cell. She found it and showed Dante how Drew scratched Scout’s name on the wall. Sam told Dante that meant Peter didn’t win. Valentin was losing a lot of blood and didn’t think he’d survive. He told Anna she may have to tell Charlotte what happened there. He lamented he wouldn’t see his daughters again and Bailey wouldn’t remember him. Britt asked Nikolas how to get to the compound in Crete and also offered to speak with Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) for him. Ava and Portia talked about everything Spencer did and how it hurt Trina (Sydney Mikayla). Portia told Ava she knows he loves Nikolas but she doesn’t want Trina anywhere near Spencer…or his father. Victor convinced Sam and Dante not to lock him in a cell as he could help them safely get out of the compound. The mysterious man asked about the live music at The Savoy but he left before the bartender had the chance to introduce him to Curtis. Sam and Dante brought Victor to the tavern. He asked Anna and Robert whether Valentin made it safely out of the compound then revealed he was the man Helena (Constance Towers) had the affair with and was Valentin’s father, making him a true Cassadine. Although Anna refused to allow him to go to the medical facility to see his son, she offered to call for information on Valentin’s condition. Then, Anna called Britt and gave her news about her mother. Britt and Jason decided to go to Crete. Nikolas spoke with a man at the tavern to find out what happened. Robert told Sam and Dante how Peter shot Drew three times and he fell off the footbridge into the water. The WSB were searching but Drew was presumed dead. Meanwhile, we saw an unconscious and cuffed Liesl being put inside the truck of a car by….Drew. He removed his bullet proof vest. Peter smirked and said everyone must believe Drew was dead then drove off.

Wednesday

Curtis (Donnell Turner) questioned the bartender about the man who asked about live music at The Savoy. Meanwhile, the man came to GH and watched TJ (Taj Bellows). He introduced himself as Marshall and told Dr. Ashford was experiencing chest pains. TJ told Marshall into an examination room. Austin (Roger Howarth) met with Maxie (Kristen Storms). She asked him whether it was more important being a part of ELQ then being a doctor. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) looked at the Trivia Night flyer. She ran into Finn (Michael Easton). They awkwardly discussed their almost kiss. Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) had dinner to discuss where they go from there with their marriage. But Olivia was more interested in talking about Austin’s suggestion that Leo could be austic. Olivia disagreed; she believed her son was creative. She wasn’t happy when Austin and Maxie entered the restaurant. After Olivia walked away, Ned told Austin the pediatric neurologist also believed Leo was austic. Austin told Ned how Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was trying to get his license revoked for a HIPPA violation unless he dropped his case against ELQ. Ned apologized for his daughter’s action, adding he valued Austin’s opinion as a doctor. Jason (Steve Burton) interrupted Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) alone time. Sonny assured he’d get over the fact that they got married because that was in the past. Jason told them he was going with Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) to Greece to help find her mother because Obretch (Kathleen Gati) was kidnapped. There were many players involved, but Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was at the center of it. Britt told her co-Chief of Staff about going to find her mother and Terry (Cassandra James) offered to cover for her. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) asked Michael (Chad Duell) whether he could be Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) boss at Aurora after everything she’s done. Michael wanted to take Nina to court to make sure she stayed away from Wiley. But Willow asked him to reconsider. Curtis sat down at a table at The Savoy with Nina where she told him how Sonny gave her guidelines. TJ examined Marshall who asked questions about Dr. Ashford’s family. Terry told Elizabeth she received a phone call from her father Jeff who wanted to know how Liz was doing because he left her messages after Franco (also Howarth) died and she never returned his call. Terry said she told Jeff she wouldn’t be the go-between and he had to wait to hear back from Elizabeth. Carly commented Peter saw Sonny in Nixon Falls and knew who he was, so why didn’t he use the information to his advantage? Britt arrived. Carly and Sonny wished her luck on finding her mother. Then they told Jason to be careful. Jason was surprised to see the red porsche. Britt told him she was driving. TJ returned to the examination room to tell Marshall he could take an EKG in a bit. But Marshall was gone. Willow reminded Michael that Nina had the money to keep the case for Wiley’s visitation in court for a long time. After promising he wouldn’t make any decisions concerning Wiley without her, Michael contacted the District Attorney of PA and said his family would be interested in contributing to his campaign for Attorney General. He added there was an unprosecuted case involving a woman named Nina Reeves who committed a crime. Curtis came to GH and TJ told him about the patient he was treating who just left without saying anything. Curtis said maybe he was feeling better and assured he’d return if he needed medical attention. Marshall watched the exchange from the staircase.

Thursday

After dropping off, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) said she wanted to talk with Carly (Laura Wright) about Michael (Chad Duell) and Nina (Cynthia Watros). Nina suggested that Phyllis (Joyce Guy) rebuild her life without Lenny and The Tan-o in Port Charles. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) announced she had a way to take care of their Austin (Roger Howarth) problem. Maxie (Kristen Storms) tried to convince her Austin wasn’t a bad guy. Monica assured Austin that he may not think so, but Brook Lynn cares about her family. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) put Ava (Maura West) in charge of Spencer’s (Nicholas Chavez) trust fund. That way, he couldn’t ignore her and had to show her respect. The public defender assigned to Spencer’s case had the wrong case file. When Sonny (Maurice Bernard) arrived at the courthouse, Spencer assumed his uncle was there to help him. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) apologized to Sonny; he knew what she was trying to do and who he was. When she left them alone, Sonny reminded Spencer he went too far and broke the rule of never going after family or children and he did both. Sonny said he always gets off for his alleged crimes because he never gets caught whereas Spencer was sloppy. Spencer sadly told Sonny he was wrong when he thought his father would choose Ava over him. Sonny told Spencer because he broke the code he wouldn’t be bailing him out. Before he left, Sonny told Nikolas it was his turn to give his son some hard truths. Michael supported Brook Lynn for taking action against Austin. He opened the door for the District Attorney of PA who was running for Attorney General. They went to talk in the den. Phyllis told Nina she didn’t want to work at GH because she liked being her own boss. Ava introduced herself as Nina’s friend and sat down with them. When Sonny entered, he greeted Phyllis, ignored Nina and took Ava away to another table. Sonny told Ava that as Avery was going through a hard time, he decided to give her more time with their daughter but not on the court’s terms but on his. After his talk with Monica, Austin signed away his rights to his claim for the ELQ shares saying the Quartermaines didn’t know how to separate the family from the business and he wanted no part of it. Before he left, Ned (Wally Kurth) told Austin his patients were lucky to have him. As he walked out the door, Austin told Brook Lynn she thought this was over but it was just beginning. Carly told Willow to rewrite history to suit her purposes and acting on that history made Nina dangerous. Carly said Nina may have pushed Michael to his limit. Both Esme and Nikolas tried to convince Spencer to accept Ava’s deal. When his public defender returned, she just had one question for Spencer: “How do you want to plea?” Ned couldn’t believe Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) was serious when she said she wanted a divorce. Ava told Sonny she’d email him her schedule. Sonny said he had something else to discuss with her.

Friday

“We’re on the same page when it comes to my daughter. I have a proposition for you” Sonny (Maurice Benard told Ava (Maura West). Kevin (Jon Lindstom) had a message for Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) from Laura (Genie Francis): “She was very clear about what she wanted to happen.” Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) asked his public defender what would happen if he pled guilty with no contest. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) who had arrived with Cameron (William Lipton) said she wanted to make sure no one was forcing him into making the wrong decision. She said this while looking at Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Robert (Tristan Rogers) questioned Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) about his crimes. Anna (Finola Hughes) was at Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) bedside and was told the bullet fragments had been removed. Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) were surprised when Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) and Jason (Steve Burton) entered the tavern. Sam got them up to speed on what happened with Drew (Cameron Mathison). Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) walked on at the end of Michael’s (Chad Duell) conversation with District Attorney Sheridan. He commented he and Michael shared the same values then left. Both Nina and Sonny were interested in buying Charlie’s. Michael admitted to Willow that Sheridan was looking for a high profile case and he gave him one. “I suggested he prosecute Nina Reeves for fraud and identity theft.” For once, Esme and Josslyn were in agreement that Spencer should take Ava’s deal. Nina and Sonny wanted to buy Charlie’s for Phyllis (Joyce Guy). Nina agreed to back out and give Sonny half the money if Phyllis agrees…provided he never told her. Michael told Willow that Wiley’s visitation shouldn’t be an issue, adding he only wants to punish Nina for the crimes she committed. Victor wanted the WSB to offer him a deal reminding Robert he could get him or Peter but he couldn’t have both. Anna talked with an unconscious Valentin and called him a hero for turning his life around for his daughters. Spencer’s arraignment began. The judge asked for his plea. Turning around and seeing Ava, Spencer pleaded not guilty. The judge ordered Spencer to surrender his passport and set his bail at $20,000. Spencer worried if he didn’t have the money to pay his bail he’d have to go back to jail. But Kevin told him that he and Laura would post his bail. Spencer told Esme this was the right decision for him. Victor urged Anna to use her influence to get the WSB to cut him a deal. Valentin regained consciousness and Robert told him to do the right thing concerning Victor. Since showing a permanent address was a condition of his bail, Kevin told Spencer he would be moving back in with him and also getting a job. Anna urged Valentin to help her find Peter by agreeing to Victor’s terms. As there was nothing else she could do for Drew in Greece, Sam decided to return home to Port Charles to be with her kids. Dante said he’d return with her. But Britt and Jason were staying. Michael told Willow that Nina being held accountable for her action was up to DA Sheridan. Police officers arrived at the restaurant and arrested Nina while she was talking with Sonny.
