A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

At The Metro Court, Ms. Wu entered and thanked Sonny (Maurice Benard) for agreeing to meet with her. Sonny said Jason (Steve Burton) and Carly (Laura Wright) told him she warned them about the bomb. Sonny told Ms. Wu they had to come to an understanding. Britt (Kelly Monaco) demanded Peter (Wes Ramsey) let her see her mother to check whether Liesl (Kathleen Gati) was okay. Jason got Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) attention by using a military command to awaken the Navy Seal. He filled his brother in on how he and Britt ended up in Greece. Jason said Peter may think he’d won but chaining them there together was a mistake. At Spring Ridge, Diane (Carolyn Hennessey) confirmed Alexis (Nancy Grahan) was granted a pardon and told her once the paperwork was done Alexis was free to go and could sleep in her own bed tonight. Sam (Kelly Monaco) asked Harmony (Inga Candranel) whether she and her mother have become friends when Harmony said she was happy for Alexis. Harmony answered she likes to think they have. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) entered and said he was responsible for Alexis’ pardon. Alexis told Sam he only did so because he was the reason Hayden (Rebecca Budig) was shot. Nikolas insisted that was just Sean’s (Sean Blakemore) unfounded accusation. Cameron (William Lipton) was surprised Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) arrived to work at Kelly’s on time. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) talked about the cabin getaway. Cameron didn’t appreciate Spencer asking about Cam and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) having sex. And Esme didn’t like when Spencer announced he told his father he didn’t want any of the Cassadine money. Cameron reminded Spencer he knew nothing about making a living in the real world and needed to go back and tell his father he changed his mind. Nikolas was angry when Alexis said she encouraged Spencer to get rid of the bad influences in his life. Sonny offered Ms. Wu a portion of Joey Novak’s business out of gratitude. Ms. Wu wanted Sonny to put in a good word to get Brad (Parry Shen) , who was her nephew, out of Pentonville. Sonny said he couldn’t do that because he wasn’t the only one hurt by Brad keeping quiet about Wiley. But Sonny assured if Brad was up for parole he wouldn’t interfere and guarantee Cooper wouldn’t meet with a fatal accident if released. Diane arrived at The Metro Court and she and Carly discussed Nina (Cynthia Watros). Carly said she didn’t retaliate against Nina because Sonny asked her not to. Sam thanked Nikolas for everything he did securing her mother’s release. Esme told Cameron she should try to get to know Trina (Sydney Mikayla) better. Peter brought Britt to see Drew and Jason.

Tuesday

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) brought Wiley to visit Carly (Laura Wright) at The Metro Court. Michael took a photo of his son and mother. Austin (Roger Howarth) was glad to be back on rotation at GH. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) thanked Austin for coming to her rescue after the Joey Novak incident at The Savoy. Gladys commented on how Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) treated Austin and will reap what she sowed. Maxie (Kristen Storms) introduced Brook Lynn to Kip, an actor who will play Ms. Quartermine’s “baby daddy” to scare Gladys into keeping quiet. The man did a performance for Deception previously and wanted to know what his motivation was to let another man raise his child. Sonny took Carly and Michael to his wife’s office to tell them that Ms. Wu asked for a favor. She wanted help for a nephew she adored who was Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). Sonny told Michael not to use his influence to block Brad’s parole. Michael reluctantly agreed unless Brad ever came near Wiley. Harmony (Inga Candranel) joined Willow and Wiley at their table and talked about how close she’s become to Alexis (Nancy Grahan). When she offered Wiley candy, the little boy refused saying he wasn’t supposed to take candy from strangers. Willow told Wiley that Harmony was her mother. Peter (Wes Ramsey) brought Britt (Kelly Monaco) to where he was holding Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Jason (Steve Burton). He ordered Jason to allow the guards to gag him then triggered Drew’s programming by having him hold a knife to Jason’s throat then cut his own arm. Afterwards, Peter had the guards chain Drew back to the wall and Britt treated Cain’s wound. Jason vowed the next time he and Peter met there’d be a different ending. Austin told Maxie he wanted to get to know her better. When he suggested she go to a support group for parents who’ve lost children, Maxie reminded Louise wasn’t gone so she didn’t think she should go to a support group. Brook Lynn joined Gladys at The Metro Court bar. She introduced her to Pauley who confronted Ms. Corbin for trying to shake down her boss. He told Gladys he was Brook Lynn’s baby daddy and warned how Sonny Cornithos wouldn’t appreciate the blackmail. To emphasize his point, Pauley lifted his jacket to reveal a gun (it was a prop weapon) and slammed his hand down on the counter before exiting. Brook Lynn told Gladys to take out her phone and delete the recording. Gladys admitted she lied about having copies. Ms. Quartermaine said she’d see her at work at 8:00 tomorrow morning. Kip (a.k.a Pauley) ran into Maxie at GH. He injured his hand when he went too far in his acting. Austin witnessed Maxie paying the actor for his performance. Peter told Britt he’s as powerful as their father because he decided not to fight his birthright anymore. He hinted at how he’d get Maxie back. Jason told Drew about the trigger tarot card Peter used and the other one with the codework stand down. Drew said they had Peter.

Wednesday

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) returned home to a surprise birthday party. Maxie (Kristen Storms) welcomed Sam (Kelly Monaco) home. Sam told Maxie she was at GH so her mother could go to a meeting because Alexis (Nancy Grahan) was released from Spring Ridge. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) bumped into Alexis at GH. Alexis told Dante she was released because she was pardoned. At Charlie’s, Nina (Cynthia Watros) talked with Sean (Sean Blakemore) at the bar. Sonny (Maurice Benard) took Phyllis (Joyce Guy) to Charlie’s. He was relieved she liked the place, finding it homey. Sonny told her “I brought the place lock, stock and bar.” Trina (Sydney Mikayla) brought Josslyn (Eden McCoy) her overnight bag. Josslyn thanked Trina for packing her bag as she couldn’t do it because soccer practice ran late. As Trina didn’t understand why a study session with Cameron (William Lipton) would require Josslyn to need her night clothes and supplies, Josslyn came clean “I’m losing my virginity to Cam.” She explained she felt it was time. Sonny told Phyllis that Charlie’s was a bar that needed a miracle worker and she was a miracle worker with a bar so he wanted her to manage it. When the band he hired was overbooked, Curtis (Donnell Turner) was worried how that would affect The Savoy’s reputation because the club promised live music. Portia (Brook Kerr) arrived and with a smile said “The show will go on.” She explained she had a patient who had a band and agreed to play as a favor to her. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) arrived at the Webber house for Elizabeth’s birthday party. Scott (Kin Shriner) came for the party and asked Finn (Michael Easton) whether his girlfriend Anna (Finola Hughes) had any information about Liesl (Kathleen Gati). Finn told Scott he and Anna weren’t together anymore and even if they were, she wouldn’t discuss WSB business with him. He suggested since it was Elizabeth’s birthday they talk about something more festive. Scott told Cameron although he was Franco, Cam could come to home if he ever needed to talk. Trina wanted to make sure Josslyn wasn’t letting Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) be the reason for rushing into a physical relationship with Cameron. Josslyn thanked Trina for being a good friend and said she’d always value her friendship. When Sam told her Dante went to Greece with her as a favor, Maxie asked whether Sam and Dante were a couple. Sam admitted she and Dante have gotten close and were considering a future together. A man named Linc Brown came to The Savoy and told Curtis he was looking forward to hearing the club’s live music. The band Portia arranged to play canceled as they read online about Joey Novak and The Savoy’s possible ties to the mob. Linc approached Curtis. After apologizing for eavesdropping, he offered a musician he manages to replace the canceled band and said his guy would accept the rate Ashford planned to pay the other band. Sonny greeted Sean and told him to let him know if he needed anything. Nina said Phyllis should consider Sonny’s offer. Finn and Elizabeth decided to go to The Savoy to hear some live music. Nikolas thanked Trina for being a good influence on Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) by encouraging him to be his own man. Scott told Cameron that Franco would be proud of him. Linc asked Marshall whether his debt was settled since he did as he asked.

Thursday

Curtis (Donnell Turner) told Linc Brown the night is turning out better than he hoped. Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) were at The Savoy to hear some live music. Carly (Laura Wright) commented to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) she’s glad Curtis invited her after what happened with Joey Novak. At Charlie’s, Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) she and Sean (Sean Blakemore) had something in common: He went to prison for him and she may go to prison for what she did to him. Sonny urged Nina not to deal in what ifs and going to prison especially since she hasn’t been to trial yet. Austin (Roger Howarth) visited Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and told him how he underestimated Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and she played him and got his ELQ shares. Austin urged Valentin to talk with Brook Lynn’s assistant Gladys Corbin. Chase (Josh Swickward) wanted Brook Lynn to convince Maxie (Kristen Storms) to speak with him so he can help find her daughter. Cameron (William Lipton) was so nervous about his big night with Josslyn (Eden McCoy) that he burned the microwave popcorn and they had to have pretzels instead. They started kissing on the couch. Cameron suggested they go up to the bedroom. Scott (Kin Shriner) came to The Jerome Gallery and told Ava (Maura West) he’s in love with Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and failed his one job to protect her. When Linc approached Brook Lynn, Chase warned her ex-manager to stay away from Ms. Quartermaine. Nina realized she had to find another watering hole but couldn’t come to Charlie’s to see Phyllis (Joyce Guy) because of Sonny’s rules. Sonny said he was changing the rules for Phyllis. Nina could come to Charlie’s as long as she stays away from Carly and respects Michael’s decisions on Wiley. Josslyn decided she didn’t want her first time to be about Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) or every other girl at PCU. Phideaux performs at The Savoy. Curtis told Brook Lynn to let him know if Linc bothers her. Josslyn admitted she was afraid Cameron would dump her if they didn’t do it. Cameron assured she was the only girl she wanted. Sonny told Carly that Phyllis agreed to manage Charlie’s on a temporary basis. Nina told Scott she wouldn’t use her grandson even if it meant staying out of prison. Austin asked Valentin to give Brook Lynn his regards when he spoke with her.

Friday

Sonny congratulated Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) for being a working man even though he’s doing a job. He said Carly (Laura Wright) filled him in on what happened when he was gone so Spencer was where he was because of the choices he made. And once he owned up to them, he could decide where to go from there. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) arrived at The Jerome Gallery and confronted Trina (Sydney Mikayla) about Spencer coming to her. Esme accused Trina of trying to steal her boyfriend. Chase (Josh Swickward) arrived at GH to question Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Austin (Roger Howarth) about the night Louise was born. Chase said the best shot at finding Maxie’s daughter was to revisit the night she gave birth. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) thought about what Austin said about Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) thinking Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was playing him. When Ms. Corbin entered his hospital room, Valentin suggested Gladys tell him a story to keep him occupied. Gladys told Valentin she knew things about Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) the other office drones didn’t but if she spilled the beans, someone could get hurt. Robert (Tristan Rogers) came to the Quartermaine mansion. He and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) talked about the kiss they shared. Olivia told Robert her marriage to Ned (Wally Kurth) was over because she could no longer rely on him. Portia (Brooke Kerr) reminded Curtis (Donnell Turner) that if he asked Jason (Steve Burton) or Sonny for help or protection, The Savoy would have mob connections. Brook Lynn urged her father to listen to Olivia and help her work through her fears about Leo. Robert told Olivia that Ned hasn’t probably been a partner to her because he’s scared. Sonny told Spencer he had to rebuild his trust, adding Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) gave Spencer too many privileges and he’s looking for shortcuts. Valentin told Gladys he can be generous to those who helped him but not to those who cross him. So she had to ask herself whether she wanted to be on his good or bad side. Coming back to the man who was asking questions about him, Portia urged Curtis to be careful. After Portia left, Curtis took a call from Linc and asked him to come by The Savoy today so they could discuss a possible working future together. Sonny suggested Spencer consider the option of apologizing to Ava (Maura West) because he messed up. He reminded Spencer wasn’t a kid anymore. Gladys asked Valentin whether he was threatening her. She added all she could say was he shouldn’t trust Brook Lynn. Gladys hightailed out of Valentin’s hospital room when Chase arrived to ask him some questions. Chase wanted to know how well Valentin knew Austin. When he left Kelly’s, Sonny ran into Brook Lynn. They talked about Bailey and Valentin until Ms. Quartermaine noticed Gladys watching. Valentin commented to Chase about the night Brook Lynn gave birth to Bailey alone. Robert left the Quartermaine mansion when Ned arrived. Esme told Trina there were some topics a friend who is a girl but not a girlfriend shouldn’t discuss. Trina said she would be there for Spencer if he came to her for anything. Linc admitted to Curtis his showing up at The Savoy yesterday wasn’t a coincidence; he was there to pay a debt. When Curtis demanded more information, Marshall entered and said he was the man Curtis wanted. Sonny reminded Gladys about what she did when the family were trying to convince the world Dev was part of their family. Chase questioned Brook Lynn about what she was keeping from him about Bailey. Valentin called Uri and told the bodyguard he needed to know Brook Lynn’s whereabouts every minute in order to protect Bailey.
