A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

In the sauna room, Brando (Johnny Wactor) told TJ (Taj Bellows) he couldn’t relax because he didn’t know how he could wrap his arms around the fact his wife’s been lying to him for months. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told Carly (Laura Wright) and Diane (Carolyn Hennesey) she couldn’t believe Trina (Tabyana Ali) was going on trial while Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was thinking she got away with it. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) told Esme he found her birth mother. Overhearing Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) phone call with Olivia about a meeting of The Metro Court staff, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) asked about her niece’s career change. Trina told Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Taggert (Temporarily being played by Asante Jones) she could be found guilty. But Taggert reminded his daughter of the lead Curtis (Donnell Turner) was working on. When he appeared, Portia asked whether he got the evidence to get Trina acquitted. Curtis told Portia, Trina and Taggert that unfortunately, the evidence to exonerate Trina didn’t pan out. Trina thanked Ava for bringing her necklace. Ava said there was nothing she wouldn’t do for Trina. Josslyn asked her mother how she was doing with her last day at The Metro Court. But Carly didn’t want to talk about it. Nina told Liesl that buying Carly’s share of The Metro Court may have ended her relationship with Sonny before it began. Esme asked whether Spencer’s Uncle Victor found her father too…and why he was doing this for her. Spencer answered her father wasn’t found and he did it because he knew it was what she wanted. Nina told Liesl she wasn’t giving up The Metro Court because it was a profitable business. But Nina did admit that both she and Carly were fifty percent responsible for the situation. Carly told Portia and Taggert that Esme Prince would regret the day she messed with their kids. Michael came to Volonino’s Gym. After announcing Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) was pregnant, he told Sonny he would have no place in his children’s lives. Dex entered and he and Michael almost came to blows. Brando and Dante stopped the fight. After Dex and Brando left, Dante told Michael he was making a mistake by cutting their father out of his life. Dante offered his younger brother congratulations on his impending fatherhood. Willow came to her baby’s grave to tell him she was having another baby. Nina and Liesl overheard. Willow received a call from TJ and had to leave. Nina commented on Willow’s pregnancy after Ms. Tait left and told Liesl “Carly may be down but she’s never out.” Cameron testified about his and Trina’s kiss and their decision not to pursue a further relationship. The prosecutor made it seem that Trina’s jealousy of Cameron choosing Josslyn over her was the reason she made the revenge porn. Josslyn was called to the stand and accused Esme of being the real culprit. The prosecutor asked the judge for permission to treat Josslyn as a hostile witness. Joss had to explain about the drinking game and admit there was a time she couldn’t say Trina was in her room because she and Cameron went out for some air. Spencer told Esme he didn’t find her mother for her and said she had to do something he wanted to get the woman’s name. “I want Trina’s freedom.” TJ took Willow to an empty exam room to speak with her in private. He told her they had to discuss her test results.

Tuesday

TJ (Taj Bellows) told Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) she had an elevated white blood count, which he didn’t think was related to her pregnancy. Cody (Josh Kelly) arrived at Volonino’s Gym while Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Michael (Temporarily being played by Robert Adamson) were sparring in the boxing ring. At GH, Brad (Parry Shen) teased Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) about having a date when she couldn’t join him tonight. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) told Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) she was the only person to convince the judge to let Trina (Tabyana Ali) go free. Because of the lack of security cameras at the cabin, Josslyn testified she couldn’t say where Trina was when they were in the cabin. Cody mentioned to Dante and Michael he knew Britt. Brad encouraged Britt about her date. He realized her date was with the parachute guy. Josslyn told the court how Trina has been a loyal and caring friend who has always been there for her. She added that she trusted Trina with her life. Josslyn told the court she knew who sent the video and that was Esme Prince. Joss explained how Esme was involved in Spencer Cassadine’s stalking of his stepmother, Ava Jerome (Maura West). Spencer said they both knew Esme was the one who made and sent the video. He talked about how he tried to look the other way when everyone warned him against her but couldn’t do it any longer. Now it was her turn to have her say. Esme reminded Spencer how she was there for him when he had problems with his father. She called him a sad little boy who grew up to be a sad man. TJ assured Willow her possible medical issue wasn’t linked to her pregnancy since the fainting spells. Cody and Dante went to the sauna and talked about Cody dating Britt. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) testified about Trina volunteering to come into the PCPD for questioning, opening her bag and pulling out the second phone. In her professional opinion, Jordan said Trina Robinson didn’t act like someone who was guilty. Rory was called to the stand next. He testified about being called to investigate a fight that broke out at a biker bar and was forced to point out Trina and Josslyn as the two underaged girls using fake IDs. On cross examination, Diane (Carolyn Hennessey) established Trina and Josslyn were there to get information about the blackmarket burner phone Esme purchased. Spencer told Esme she had the motive and the opportunity to plant and retrieve the burner cell phone. He also told her how Britt identified the pills she slipped in Trina’s drink and said with the wrong dosage, she could have killed her. Spencer put it all on the table: Esme could clear Trina without implicating herself in exchange for her mother’s name. So she had to decide what was more important…her hatred of Trina? Or learning who her birth mother was? Britt took a sonogram and Willow and Michael got to hear their baby’s heartbeat. TJ asked to speak with Britt in her office about Willow. Her loved ones tried to be encouraging about reasonable doubt being cast on her case.

Wednesday

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) left a voicemail for Chase (Josh Swickward) reminding him tonight was open mic night at The Haunted Star. Finn (Michael Easton) commented on Chase’s heavy assault of the punching bag at Volonino’s Gym. He admitted Brook Lynn wanted him to sing at open mic night at The Haunted Star and he wasn’t looking forward to it. Cody (Josh Kelly) calls Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to get the 411 on Britt Wetbourne (Kelly Thiebauld) for their date. Spinelli refused to aid Cody’s request and asked him to lose his number. Britt arrived early for the date. Mac (John J. York) was hosting the open mic night. Maxie (Kristen Storms) sent Austin (Roger Howarth) to get them drinks and once alone asked Spinelli why he was stalking her. Marshall (Robert Gossett) bought Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) to open mic night and said music was not only good for the soul, but good for the brain so it would be a good diversion from studying for the MCATs. Brando (Johnny Wactor) went to check on Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) discharge papers. Nina (Cynthia Watros)arrived with toiletries for Sasha. “I love you and appreciate everything that you are doing for me. But I am going home tonight…do not try to stop me” Sasha told Nina. Brook Lynn was overjoyed when Michael told her Willow was pregnant. Spinelli assured Maxie he wasn’t stalking. Nina told Sasha she wasn’t going to convince her to go to rehab. Sasha received a call from Willow but didn’t want to take it. She told Nina that Willow was pregnant. Nina said that must have been hard for Sasha to hear. Nina comforted Sasha who cried as she wished she could live forever in the fantasy where Liam was still alive. Brando and Sonny talked about the pain Sasha was going through. Cody told Britt he lived in the apartment above the stables. He tried to convince her to ride. But Britt was insistent about not riding. After Cody asked for a chance to get to know her, they sat outside for a quiet dinner and talked. Epiphany sang at open mic night. Marshall told her she reached a lot of people tonight. Chase and Finn arrived. Brook Lynn questioned what Chase was wearing. Linc entered and commented on how hard it must be for Brook Lynn not being able to sing anymore. Brook Lynn said she found something more important. Linc asked whether it was him (meaning Chase). Britt called him boring and accused Cody of wanting a perfect relationship. Linc watched with interest as Chase sang. Sonny asked Brando for the name of the sleaze photographer who gave Sasha the pills, saying he wanted to have a “talk” with him. Brando said he wanted in on that talk. Linc asked Chase whether he considered a singing career. Britt accused Cody of playing games with her and asked what he was up to. Dex called Sonny to tell him he found photography Feldy. Sonny told Dex he knew what to do.

Thursday

Due to ongoing breaking news coverage, today’s scheduled episode of General Hospital will air tomorrow. #GH

Friday

Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) called Cody (Josh Kelly) transparent and said an idiot could see what he was after. Linc asked Chase (Josh Swickward) whether he ever considered a career in music. He said it was fate that he was there tonight. Maxie (Kristen Storms) told Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) he had no reason to doubt Austin (Roger Howarth). “He’s not who you think he is,” Spinelli said. Auston met with a man on the deck of The Floating Rib. The man told Dr. Gatlin-Holt his time was up. Portia (Brooke Kerr) “Diane did great. It looks like our side is the one that will need the miracle,” Portia told Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Marshall. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) told the man she brought the burner phone that she no longer had a boyfriend or access to his family’s money. He said that meant she couldn’t afford to buy his silence. Linc told Chase he could be a star with the right management. “Good thing he has me” Brook Lynn told Linc. Curtis told Portia how the clerk at the motel where the bartender was stayin agreed to leave the door open and he would search the room. The bartender told Esme he meant just let the people looking for him find him and he would cut a deal. The man reminded Austin that Dr. Gatlin-Holt answered to his boss. Spinelli told Maxie she had no future with Austin. Cody told Britt he talked about marriage and children because he was trying to impress her. Britt called him a Cowboy Casanova before pouring her drink over his head. Esme apologized to the bartender for acting like a spoiled little rich girl who’s been handed everything. She told him she looked him up on the internet and found out he supported himself through law school and still managed to graduate at the top of his class. Esme learned Marshall was one of the men the bartender spoke with. Curtis asked Marshall to stay with Portia while he searched the motel room. Brook Lynn told Linc she was Chase’s manager. Curtis received a text and met with Selina (Lydia Look) in her limo. She told him she parked ten yards from his house because she respected his family. But others didn’t. The man Austin spoke with gave a veiled threat against Maxie. Britt noticed them talking. Spinelli told Maxie he was behind Society Setups. Britt interrupted Austin on the pretense of looking for Brad (Parry Shen). After the man walked away, Austin told Britt the man was just asking for a light. Spinelli told Maxie he was the owner of Society Setups and Zelda was just a figurehead. He added he created an algorithm with a good success rate that’s why he knew she and Austin wouldn’t work out. Selina told Curtis she could help with his problem. Esme told the bartender she was done with boys then kissed him. He said his room was in the back. Esme asked him to top her off first and assured she wasn’t going to run off because she was eager to see what came next. Marshall assured Portia that Curtis would find what they needed. He urged Portia to focus on all Trina had going for her. Selina told Curtis she owned the Highsider. Britt told Austin about her bad date with Cody. Austin told Britt she shouldn’t let others’ expectations dictate what they wanted. Maxie told Spinelli if she were single she’d totally trust him with her heart. Linc told Brook Lynn she wasn’t ready for the big time and wouldn’t succeed as Chase’s manager. Linc asked Chase to give them both thirty days to show what each of them can do before making a decision on who to sign with. Chase and Brook Lynn smiled when Linc walked away…their plan was working. Britt told Maxie and Spinelli about her bad date and her intention to sue Society Setups. Portia told Marshall she was concerned how the trial would affect Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) mental well being. “If Trina needs our help, we’re going to make sure she gets it,” Marshall told Portia. Selina asked Curtis whether helping Trina was worth paying any price. The bartender said Esme struck him as the type of woman who always looked out for number one. “You never knew what people are capable of” he said. “Ain’t that the truth” Esme replied with a smirk. Maxie suggested Britt didn’t sue Society Setups and give dating a rest for awhile. “It’s your life…you don’t have to share it with anyone” Austin added. Cody left a voicemail for Britt asking for a chance to make it up to her. Marshall assured Portia that Curtis would find that bartender and compel him to testify. “This time tomorrow, Trina’s nightmare could be over.” Esme commented how the bartender didn’t look well. “What did you do to me?” he asked before passing out. Esme panicked when there was a knock on the door. It was Curtis.
