A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Finn (Michael Easton) praised Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) raising Cameron (William Lipton) after reading his and Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) interview in The Invader. Liz was just glad Cam and Joss had each other and didn’t have to go through this alone. While sitting at a table with Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Amy (Risa Dorken) comments when Chase (Josh Swickward) enters The Metro Court . At GH, Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) thanked Terry (Cassandra James) for giving Dr. Randolph a chance. Brad (Parry Shen) entered Terry’s office and overdid it by complimenting her beauty. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) told Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) he kept his room the same because you never give up on your child…something Spencer will know soon enough if Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) is pregnant. When she found Esme at Wyndemere, Ava (Maura West) threatened to throw her out. Finn left for his dinner with his father (Gregory Harrison) at The Metro Court. Laura (Genie Francis) arrived at the Webber house and offered her support to Elizabeth over the video. Violet (Jophelle Love) greeted Brook Lynn and asked about Bailey. Maxie showed the little girl some pictures of her daughter. Elizabeth told Laura how Jake (Hudson West) had an alibi for the things that’s been happening. Nikolas told Spencer how he loved him the first time he held him and still does. He offered to be by Spencer’s side (if he wanted) if Esme turned out to be pregnant. Ava threatened to throw Esme out by her hair. Esme smirked that there was a misunderstanding…she was invited to stay because they will soon be one big happy family as Ava could be a step grandmother soon. Ava yelled for Nikolas. He and Spencer entered. Nikolas asked to speak with Ava alone. Spencer told Esme it was time she took the pregnancy test. Elizabeth told Laura how her father contacted Jake. Selina (Linda Look) sent her henchman to escort Britt to their lunch. Brad met with Terry who could only offer him an orderly position as she didn’t feel comfortable with him being a Patient Advocate. Chase defended Brook Lynn when Gregory accused her of being the reason Chase was suspended. When they were alone, Chase defended Brook Lynn. Gregory asked whether Chase was falling in love with Brook Lynn. Britt was surprised to find Selina bought out the restaurant. She wanted Britt to speak with Brad about working with her. Selina told Britt she knew Faison (Anders Hove) and what Britt and her father were doing in 2016. Ava told Nikolas she sent Sonny (Maurice Bernard) after Esme. Nikolas couldn’t believe it…Esme was still a child. Ava reminded Nikolas how Esme torched her car, left Kiki’s ID badge for her to find, recorded and sent the video to embarrass Cameron and Josslyn and framed Trina (Tabyana Ali) for the crime to ruin her life. Although she wasn’t happy with Spencer living there, he was Nikolas’ son. But Esme had to go, Ava warned. Brad told Terry he wanted to put the mistakes he’s made behind him and if an orderly job was the only one available at GH, he’d take it and do a good job. Terry said she needed to discuss him working there with Dr. Jones and would get back to him. Terry walked him out of her office. When Amy saw Brad standing outside Dr.Randolph’s office, she accused him of plotting something and called for security. Terry returned and told Nurse Driscoll she was being unprofessional after Brad left. Selina threatened to use the information to send Britt back to prison if Dr. Westbourne failed to do what she asked. Esme finally took the pregnancy test. When the time was up, she and Spencer went to look at the results together. Ava gave Nikolas an ultimatum: Either Esme left or she did. Angry, Ava walked out. Elizabeth had a nightmare about a man standing in the middle of her living room. Elizabeth awoke from a dream in which a man stood in the living room saying “Don’t Forget Me.” She turned around and found a freshly painted red reading Don’t Forget Me.

Tuesday

At Volonino’s Gym, Brando (Johnny Wactor) arrived wearing a suit and told Sonny (Maurice Bernard) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) it was a big night for his wife. At The Savoy, Lucy (Lynn Herring), Maxie (Kristen Storms), Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) were at the launch party for Deception’s IPO. When he saw her drinking at Charlie’s, Scott (Kin Shriner) asked Ava (Maura West) whether there was trouble in the Cassadine paradise. Ava answered yes with a capital E. Now that she wasn’t pregnant, Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) told Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) maybe she should take her chances on the mainland. Nikolas entered the room and said he saw how rattled she was yesterday after what happened with Sonny. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) awoke from a dream in which a man stood in the living room saying “Don’t Forget Me.” She turned around and found a freshly painted red reading Don’t Forget Me. Jake (Hudson West) came downstairs as Liz was putting the sign away. He called Finn. Laura was surprised when she overheard Ava tell Scott that Esme may be carrying a Cassadine heir. She decided to go to Wyndemere to find out from Nikolas what was going on. Ava discussed her options with Scott if she chose to end her marriage. At the IPO launch party, Selina (Linda Look) introduced herself and toldLucy, Maxie, Sasha and Brook Lynn she was an investor. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Anna (Finola Hughes) she didn’t plan to invest because it was too risky. Dante arrived at the Webber house. Elizabeth told Detective Falconieri what happened. Aiden told Jake he wanted to feel safe in their house again. Elizabeth also said she wanted to be safe in her house again. Austin (Roger Howarth) came to Deception’s IPO launch as Maxie’s date. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) thought the flowers Brando bought were for her until he gave them to his wife. She accepted the one rose from Sasha. Laura arrived at Wyndemere and was relieved when Esme said her pregnancy was a false alarm. She left the room so Laura could speak with Nikolas alone. Laura told Nikolas how she left Ava talking with his lawyer. She said now that Esme wasn’t pregnant and she and Spencer were broken up, Esme didn’t need to stay there. But Nikolas didn’t want to leave the girl at Sonny’s mercy. Laura was certain Sonny wouldn’t hurt Esme even though he believed she was responsible for the video of Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy).

Wednesday

Drew (Cameron Mathison) arrived at Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia’s (Brooke Kerr) new home for their housewarming. After greeting Stella (Vernee Watson) and TJ (Taj Bellows), Drew asked about Trina (Tabyana Ali). Curtis commented how the one person Trina wanted to believe in her didn’t. At Volonino’s Gym, Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) worked out on the punching bag. He left after telling Sonny (Maurice Benard) he said all he needed to say to him. Laura (Genie Francis) told Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) she hoped she wouldn’t do anything to misplace Nikolas’ (Marcus Coloma) hospitality. “We all know the answer to that,” Ava said when she entered. Laura suggested she leave Ava and Nikolas alone so they could talk. Nikolas was glad to see Ava who told him she was there because it’s her house too. Laura wanted to hug Spencer before she left to meet Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) at The Metro Court. But he pulled back saying “I’m gross” due to his session with the punching bag. After Laura left, Esme and Nikolas talked and she accused him of being in love with another girl. And now that she wasn’t pregnant, there wasn’t any reason for her to remain in Port Charles. Stella apologized to Portia for giving her a hard time about dating Curtis. Ms. Henry had a glimpse of putting the envelope containing Curtis and Jordan’s divorce papers in her purse. Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) told Yuri he was going out of town to get ahead of the investigation into Luke’s (Anthony Geary) death. Anna (Finola Hughes) left a voicemail message for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). She came to Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) place. Sam, Anna and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) discussed an auction for the Ice Princesses. Meanwhile, Jennifer Smith was talking with someone on the phone about the auction.Selina (Lydia Look) showed up at Volonino’s Gym and Sonny reminded her he won’t tolerate drugs of any kind running through his territory. Ava told Nikolas if ever wanted them to share a bed again he’d have to stop his support of Esme. Nikolas accused Ava of just keeping a promise she made to his mother and called it insulting that she didn’t trust his judgment. Ava told Nikolas she had to protect him from himself. Stella had words with Marshall (Robert Gossett). She passed out as Portia called her into the family photo. Anna left another message for Valentin, who showed up where Jennifer Smith was disguised as a sea captain.

Thursday

Nina (Cynthia Watros) came to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) office and said she had something to tell him because she didn’t want him to be blindsided. After Stella (Vernee Watson) collapsed, Portia (Brooke Kerr) asked Trina (Tabyana Ali) to get her medical bag. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) pretended to be a French sea captain and flirted with Jennifer Smith. At The Metro Court, Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) suggested he and Laura form an alliance. Also at The Metro Court, Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) were served with court papers. Harmony (Inga Candranel) came to Carly’s office and told her she may want to throw her out when she heard what she had to say. Smoltz accused Alexis (Nancy Grahan) of getting famous for the exploitation story she stole from him. Stella was conscious. Portia said good news was she didn’t have a stroke or heart attack. It appeared to be a panic attack. The paramedics arrived to take her to GH for tests to verify Dr. Robinson’s diagnosis. Jennifer Smith told Valentin she was there to get something that was important to her. Continuing with the flirting, Valentin told Jennifer he loved a woman who went after what she wanted. Nina told Sonny she wanted a place in her grandson’s life and hoped to have an amicable relationship with his parents one day. Willow and Michael couldn’t believe Nina went through with legal action. Smoltz threatened to sue Alexis for giving his story idea to another reporter. Harmony asked Carly for a job. She explained she needed a second job so she could afford to get her own apartment and move out of her friend Alexis Davis’ house. While she was talking with Carly, Harmony’s phone kept ringing. The doctor told Stella stress attributed to her panic attack. Marshall (Robert Gossett) gave Trina the advice to not let what people think about her bother her. Alexis agreed to consider letting Smoltz do another story for The Invader. Valentin came back to Jennifer’s room and watched when she put the combination in to open the safe. Michael offered Smoltz a deal: In exchange for dropping the charges against him, Michael would give him an exclusive on Nina’s crimes and misdeeds. Smoltz accepted, calling it the story of a lifetime. Harmony received a text from Brendan who warned if she didn’t talk with him the next call he’d make would be to her daughter. Nina and Sonny shared a kiss. Valentin tried several times to crack the safe. “What do you think you’re doing?” Jennifer demanded when she returned from taking a shower.

Friday

“What do you think you’re doing?” Jennifer asked when she found Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) near the safe. He lied he dropped his cellphone. She commented he seemed flustered. Anna (Finola Hughes) was surprised to see Felicia (Kristen Storms). Felicia told Anna she was too recognizable whereas Felicia is only known to her friends. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) noticed her mother kept getting texts and asked Harmony (Inga Candranel) whether they were from the same person. Scott (Kin Shriner) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) he was gathering information for her case. Baldwin arrived at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) restaurant and told Corinthos he intended to call him as a character witness in Nina’s case for grandparent’s rights. After hearing Portia (Brooke Kerr) threatening legal action against the reporters on her property, Trina (Tabyana Ali) told Marshall (Robert Gossett) her mother and Curtis (Donnell Turner) should be enjoying their new home instead of worrying about her. Trina considered pleading guilty so this would be all over. But Marshall gave her advice on making hard choices for the family. At The Savoy, Curtis gave Selina (Lydia Look) conditions in order to hold the poker game there. Nina entered and saw them talking. Michael (Chad Duell) told Willow that Smoltz took his deal and will drop the charges against him in exchange for a five part article series on Nina. After Selina left The Savoy, Nina asked Curtis to be a character witness for her. Anna recognized a WSB agent. The man explained the WSB was there to arrest a suspect in the cable car crash leading to Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death and recover the Ice Princess. Anna wanted in on the bust to see who was responsible. Valentin hid when the WSB along with Anna arrived. When hotel management opened the safe and found The Ice Princess, Jennifer was arrested. She proclaimed her innocence and mentioned the French sea captain. Harmony met with Brendan on the pier. He told her he knew Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) gave her Nina’s baby to raise. The truth was revealed: Nina gave birth to twins; one was sold on the black market (Nelle) while the other Harmony kept (Willow). Brendan threatened to reveal all to Nina, warning Harmony not to call his bluff. Valentin hid so Anna and Felicia wouldn’t see him. After pulling off the fake mustache, he left. Sonny warned Scott he’d get what was coming to him. Nina approached Willow and Michael’s table at The Metro Court. Brendan watched the exchange from the other end of the room.
