A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Valentine’s Day Part 2. At The Metro Court, Carly (Laura Wright) greeted Felix (Marc Samuels) and told him they had a lot to catch up on. Felix told Carly to get spruced up because he was taking her to The Savoy. TJ (Taj Bellows), Molly (Haley Pullos), Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) and Brad (Parry Shen) were at The Savoy to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Laura (Genie Francis) told Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was breaking the rules. Laura was annoyed because Esme insisted on painting her toenails on the living room sofa. Laura called Trina (Sydney Mikayla) and asked her to come over. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) was startled by Esme and reminded she shouldn’t sneak up on a guy in prison. She gave him a glamor photo of her. At Charlie’s, Terry (Cassandra James) and Chad said they weren’t disappointed when he joined her at the bar. However, Terry learned Chad wasn’t her date when her real date Tanner entered. Ava (Maura West) was ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day and told Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) “Sonny and Carly’s marriage is in the toilet.” Ava reminded Nikolas that Sonny’s marriage being on the fritz will help her custody case for Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). Brad enjoyed his freedom by having shots with Britt. When he and Carly entered, Felix told her even though Brad isn’t his favorite person he wasn’t going to let him run them out of there. Sonny told Nina (Cynthia Watros) that Carly was looking into getting a divorce. Nina didn’t think they should be discussing that because she was personally invested. Sonny introduced Chad to Nina. While Brad stepped away to talk with Brad, Britt and Carly bonded over being alone on Valentine’s Day and losing her one chance at love with Jason and Carly’s best friend. Esme thanked Spencer for the rare flowers he gave her for Valentine’s Day. She told him the photo was to remind him what he had to look forward to when he got out. Esme learned her visitation privileges to see Ryan (also Lindstrom) was revoked. Kevin told her he didn’t like her interest in his brother. Esme stormed out when Spencer agreed and asked why she wanted to see a psycho like Ryan. Laura gave Trina the Valentine’s Day present Spencer gave her. Trina was touched by the book of the works of one of her favorite artists. Terry’s date was a disaster as Tanner talked about his disdain for western medicine (her being a doctor) and following convention (a.k.a getting a job). Listening on from the bar, Chad interrupted by pretending to be Terry’s boyfriend. Esme returned home just in time to hear Laura tell Trina that Spencer has her in his life. Trina left. Thinking about recording Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) having sex, Esme told Laura she was turning in early because she had something she needed to do before reporting to Spring Ridge for her internship. Chad and Terry smiled and commented maybe first dates weren’t so bad afterall. TJ and Molly continued their Valentine’s Day celebration in a suite at The Metro Court. Britt and Carly drank shots and put heart stickers on each other’s forehead.

Tuesday

Carly (Laura Wright) to her office at Crimson. Rebecca Diamond Esquire entered. “I’m here to discuss your divorce.” At GH, Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) asked Nina (Cynthia Watros) how she pulled off the breakup of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s marriage. A writer had a scoop for Alexis (Nancy Grahan): Nina Reeves invades the marriage of Sonny and Carly Cornithos. At The Metro Court, Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) asked Harmony (Inga Candranel) how long it took to find her daughter’s birth certificate. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Mac (John J. York) that Peter (Wes Ramsey) took a hostage. He asked whether there was anyone he knew. Mac wanted to leave GH when he learned it was Maxie. Chase (Josh Swickward) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) were watching Louise but it was only temporary now that Mac was on the mend. Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) arrive to visit and say goodbye to their soon-to-be ex granddaughter. Harmony pretended she was in a hurry for an appointment and didn’t have time to discuss Willow’s birth certificate. Austin (Roger Howarth) burst into Victor (Charles Shaughnessy)’s hotel room and demanded to know where Peter took Maxie. Victor insisted he didn’t know. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) entered, still blaming Austin for Peter getting Maxie. After Dr. Gatlin-Holt left, Victor continued to show interest in Dr. Obretch commented he couldn’t understand her interest in Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Willow did research checking hospitals in the county and nearby counties where she was born while Michael (Chad Duell) added he contacted the State Department. Alexis passed on the story saying The Invader would be sued for liable. The man left and Harmony entered. Alexis told her there was no legal way a fake birth certificate could be used and urged Harmony to tell Willow the truth. Carly told Rebecca she wanted it over quickly and wasn’t looking to go to war. Rebecca said Carly needed to tell her everything. Nina asked Britt whether she had any idea where Peter took Maxie. Britt didn’t have any idea where Peter could have taken Maxie, adding she didn’t know him that well…if she had known he was a psycho she would have warned Maxie to stay away from him. They talked about how Peter found out about Louise when Austin walked up. Liesl asked Victor to help her find Maxie. He agreed but only if there was something in it for her. Ned told Bailey/Louise she’s brought out the best in everyone. Alexis told Harmony to admit she made a mistake and let Diane help her get Willow’s birth certificate certified. Willow talked of her mother’s distrust of the government. Rebecca told Carly she had enough to take Sonny to the cleaners. She added any judge sitting on the bench would be inclined to rule in Carly’s favor which could get her sole custody of her minor child Donna. Willow commented out of all Wiley’s grandmothers hers at the moment might be the most drama free. Harmony told Alexis there’s no way Willow would forgive her. Felicia showed Mac a photo of Louise taken after she was found at the firestation. Mac was looking forward to bringing Louise home with them. Ned and Olivia suggested taking photos of Bailey with them, Chase and Brook Lynn. Victor agreed to help Liesl find Maxie. Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) told Mac the doctors ordered more tests. Britt urged Austin not to engage in shenanigans and cahoots with her mother. Liesl appeared and asked for a word with the good doctor. Carly told Rebecca about the ugly divorce she and Sonny had a few years ago. “If you don’t want Sonny’s blood, tell me what do you want?” Rebecca asked. Britt asked her mother why she wanted to borrow Dr. Gatlin-Holt. “I thought you were furious with him.” Austin and Liesl walked away. Nina told Britt if Carly wanted a war she was ready for her. Carly told Rebecca she wanted Nina Reeves to pay for everything she’s cost her family. Alexis told Harmony she had the feeling there was more to the story and she needed to tell her everything. Michael told Willow according to the US government there was no record of a birth certificate issued to her in any of the fifty states or anywhere else in the world. Willow commented it was like she didn’t exist. Felicia held her granddaughter. Liesl told Austin she managed to plant a tiny chip in Victor’s lapel. She and Austin listened in and heard Victor say Peter August had to be found and eliminated.

Wednesday

Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) wondered whether her mother’s been lying to her about her birth. Harmony (Inga Candrael) admitted to Alexis she wasn’t Willow’s mother. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told her mother that Avery’s been asking when Carly (Laura Wright) was coming home. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) held Louise. At Kelly’s, Curtis (Donnell Turner) wanted to spend some alone time with Portia (Brooke Kerr). He told her how he wanted them to get a place that would be both of theirs. Sonny (Maurice Benard) looked for Carly and told Michael that he had to find his mother before she did something they’d regret. Felicia thanked Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton)for taking care of Louise so well and promised Brook Lynn could visit anytime she wanted. Nina (Cynthia Watros) noticed how difficult it was for Brook Lynn and offered her support. Harmony told Alexis how she and her husband Douglas were living on a commune in Colorado run by the Prophet Josiah and ended up raising a baby girl as their own when her mother Joan abandoned her. Josslyn told Carly how hard it was answering Avery’s questions. She talked about the trip to the cabin and all Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) did to ruin it, adding she felt sorry for Spencer(Nicholas Chavez) because he was so far under her thumb and couldn’t see who she really was. Felicia told Louise how her mommy would be back soon. When Sonny told him how his mother found him in bed with Nina, Michael angrily shouted at him. “Watch it,” Sonny warned. “Or what?” Michael challenged. Sonny reminded he was still his father and demanded respect. He assured he and Carly would work things out then left for her suite at The Metro Court. Josslyn was angry when she realized her mother saw Sonny in bed with Nina and called Ms. Reeves a monster who was out to destroy their family. Harmony told Alexis how she and husband Douglas fell in love with Willow and began thinking of her as their own. She explained they left the commune when Willow was two for fear of losing her if Joan returned to claim her daughter. Nina ran into Willow at GH and asked now that it seemed she and Carly will never be able to peacefully coexist, does that mean she’ll never be able to see her grandson again? Willow said she didn’t know then they shared memories of mothers who weren’t there for him. Josslyn shot Sonny dagger looks when he arrived at Carly’s suite. Portia agreed to move in with Curtis once he found a place. Brook Lynn asked Chase (Josh Swickward) whether he’d be moving out now that Bailey was gone. Brook Lynn cried when she found Mr. Snuggles, Bailey’s bear buried in the couch cushion…how would Bailey sleep without it? When Felicia couldn’t get Louise to settle down and stop crying, Mac suggested to his wife Louise needed her mother. Or the closest thing to one. Alexis assured Harmony that Willow would understand if she told her the truth. Portia asked Curtis to move into her house while they looked for a place of their own. Brook Lynn was surprised when Felicia returned with Bailey/Louise. Felicia told Chase and Brook Lynn she and Mac decided they should watch Louise until Maxie’s return. Felicia said Maxie trusted her with her child so she and Mac did too. Josslyn joined Michael in The Metro Court dining room and complained how Nina was out to destroy their family. Carly told Sonny divorce was the next step for them.

Thursday

Finn (Michael Easton) was worried Elizabeth was overworking because of the difficult time being the anniversary of her marriage to Franco (Roger Howarth). Brando (Johnny Wactor) joined Sasha (Temporarily being played by Helena Mattsson) at her table at The Metro Court and said he felt she was shutting him out, adding she was the only person who fully understood the loss of Liam. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) made Austin (also Howarth) snuck up on him while he was trying to listen in on Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessey) conversation. Victor’s henchman told him the target was alone. Sam (Kelly Monaco) ran into Drew (Cameron Mathison) on the pier. Anna (Finola Hughes) comforted Felicia (Kristina Wagner) who gave her Maxie’s (Kristina Wagner) the earring and told her Maxie left it as a clue. Peter (Wes Ramsey) told Maxie they were going somewhere no one would find them. He told her about a remote mountain cabin he used to go to when he was in boarding school. Liesl reminded Austin as he was the reason Victor learned the truth about Louise, listening to Victor’s conversation was a small price to pay. Victor approached Sam and Drew on the pier. After greeting his niece, Victor pulled out the tarot card saying it was among the things he found of Peter’s. He tried to reactivate Drew’s programming but it didn’t work. Drew wanted Sam to leave so as for not to be around to witness what he did next. Then, Cain grabbed Cassadine, manhandling him and breaking the listening microchip. Austin and Liesl received loud feedback from the broken device. Mac and Felicia blamed themselves for not seeing who Peter was earlier. Maxie asked to use the restroom, promising not to run off. But Peter didn’t trash her and stood guard outside the door. A clever Ms. Jones found a discarded lipstick in the trash and wrote a message asking for help and to call Anna. Elizabeth was determined to give her sons a better life. She received a card with a message about missing Franco and reasoned it was from his foster mom. Sasha told Brando she didn’t mean to shut him out. Anna was relieved when she received a call from a woman who found Maxie’s arm and saw the lipstick message. Victor was furious the trigger card didn’t work and Peter tried to screw him over again. Anna convinced Felicia to stay with Mac and not go when she went to bring Maxie home. Maxie smiled knowing her message may bring her home soon.

Friday

Laura (Genie Francis) came to Spring Ridge to see Spencer (Nicholas Chavez). Besides being bored and restless, Spencer admitted he was doing fine. “Uncle Victor’s looking out for me.” “That’s what I’m afraid of, ” Laura said. At The Metro Court, Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) interuppted Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) declaring their love for eachother in poetry. “If there’s any justice, Peter will get what’s coming to him,” Sam told Austin (Roger Howarth) and Liesl (Kathleen Gati). Liesl wanted to go to Switzerland to help bring Maxie home. But Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) warned she’d harpoon her mother again if she tried. Laura cautioned Spencer not to trust Victor. Anna, Drew and Dante arrived at the WSB facility in Switzerland and began speculating where Peter (Wes Ramsey) took Maxie (Kristen Storms). Meanwhile, Peter and Maxie entered the remote cabin of his childhood and told her no one would ever find them there. Meanwhile, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) was on a flight to Zurich. She tried to recall what Peter once told her about the place he used to go when he was a child. Racking her brain, Felicia remembered he called it Versteckte Wiesen which translated is Hidden Meadows. Peter told Maxie how he had an escape plan in place if their location was discovered then pulled out his gun. She asked him to put it away. Maxie told Peter she was angry with him for so long but realized everything he did was out of love for her and Louise, especially leaving their daughter behind. Victor encouraged Nikolas to allow Spencer to attend his and Ava’s vow renewal. When Laura arrived, Victor told her maybe she could convince her son to change his mind. Anna realized Peter’s book could give them a clue where he’s taken Maxie. She reasons they could be near a salt mine. Liesl called Anna and told her about the salt mine, telling her to do anything she had to in order to bring Maxie home. Victor came to visit Spencer and told him when he got out of Spring Ridge he was the future of the Cassadine family. Peter told Maxie the village was only located on local maps and there was no GPS. Victor told his henchman that Anna and Dante were expendable, but they needed to keep Drew Cain alive. Spencer was surprised when Nikolas showed up at Spring Ridge to visit him. The man gave his contact (A man working with the WSB) Victor’s information. The man eyed Anna, Drew and Dante. Felicia’s plane was about to land in Zurich and she was ready to save her daughter. Peter caught Maxie looking at a map. She lied she thought they’d go hiking. Peter said it would have to wait until morning because “The wolves come out at night.”
